This tiny Cambodian Grocery Store carries many of the staples one would use for Far East Asian, and East Asian cookng.
It has a good selection and great prices on fresh fruits, asian vegtables and various chili peppers...basically a package of anything is $1. Imagine a shrink wrapped pallet of 200 chilli peppers for a dollar!; they could cost you 15-30 times more at Shaw's or Whole Foods. It is also packed to the gills with packages of dried provisions, cans, frozen food and sundry items as well.
Just down the street in both directions are a few much larger stores (sorta like bowling alley's they look small until you start trying to find the back wall) which have most anything one would need for Asian cooking.
Shirley Street also has Cambodian specialty stores-- like music and video rental.
It deserves 5 Stars for what it is in the context of Where it is,
but if one were used to an Asian outdoor market they might only give it a 3.5.
