I come here for magic prerelease and release parties. Among Bay Area stores, this has become my preferred store for playing cards for a few reasons.
Parking is blessedly easy, and there's no problem rolling up right to the front door.
The area is expansive for a card store. Even in 50 person tournaments the place doesn't feel incredibly cramped.
Mike, one of the managers, is super nice & welcoming. Along with the other manager, but I can't recall her name.
The place has lots of stuff to look at between games. Plush & trinkets & board games & other misc toys.
There's an adjacent pizza hut that stays open damn near all night. Along with a sushi place, but I haven't tried it yet. -

Anime Imports is the place to go for Magic The Gathering cards in the San Francisco Bay Area. A fully stocked selection of packs and accessories from booster packs of Innistrad to Ultra Pro card sleeves and deck boxes and on and on and on.
Best of all, Anime Imports has an enormous selection of INDIVIDUAL CARDS at the lowest prices. Commons are usually about 0.10 each! Wow! Best deal in town. They have a very full and impressive selection of individual cards to meet all your deck's needs.
They have official events throughout the week. Come play Magic in a safe, friendly, comfortable environment. Check the website for event days and times.
Staff is friendly and can actually talk about the game with you to help you out. Everything a Magic player needs under one roof.
I've been going to nearly every card store in the Bay Area to feed my Magic addiction. Places like Gator Games and Gamescape are great, but LIMITED in what they offer. I usually have to make several trips to different stores just to get what I need. Not anymore! Anime Imports is currently #1 on my list. -

My favorite game store in the bay area, and I've been to them all.
Greate owner and a well run store
Great location (close to most parts of SF, no traffic, and plenty of Parking)
Plenty of table space
They play Warhammer, Magic and a few other card games and have lots of Anime Stuff. -

Walked in looking for some Magic The Gathering cards and sleeves the other day. Comfy little card and comic shop with an amazing selection.
I liked that they don't charge a lot for common cards. It is really annoying that so many places think they can charge a quarter a common or whatever. I also like that they have the old cards and packs from Worldwake and Zendikar and such.
This place gets it, gets the game, and gets my business from now on. Nerd heaven, with its own parking lot. -

Great place for table-top gaming. Lots of room, compared to other places near san francisco. A lot of nice people play Magic: the Gathering, and other games here. You can walk in almost any day and find gaming going on. Good staff that is willing to teach you how to play and/or serve you snacks.
I went here for a friday night magic tournament and had lots of fun. will definitely be going back!
