THANK YOU ELIZABETH,
i walked into there store today and was nicely greated by Elizabeth,she helped me find the right kennel for my dogs,she was also very kind and knowledgable,gave me a great deal and was very patient with me while i was shuffling my dogs around.I give this place 5 stars because you cant get that one on one help with an experianced dog handler at you big box pet store's (petco,petsmart) thank you for all the help and i will pay it forward : ) -

I saw that there was a new pet store opening in the area so I had to check it out, they have a large selection of food, they taught me all about the type of foods and whats best for my dog, apparently the pedigree food I was using was causing my dog to lose so much fur, I always thought it was normal, I'm very happy to have found this place.
No one at the larger companies bother to mention anything too me except " what do you want? Here! BYE! "
I appreciate all the help guys! I'll be back! -

So the rumors of this place closing is mostly just rumor for now. I talked to the owner and they said that although business isn't that good, they are trying to keep the place open for as long as they can.
But if business doesn't become more busy then they might have to shut down.
Ah the lamentations of small business.

Yay! I'm bumped to first reviewer.
But boo! The place is going to close. Sigh..... but I guess the silver lining in it is that they have a bunch of stuff for sale. Guess I'm going to have to go this weekend and hoard discount treats and supplies.
At least my dog and fat-ass cat will be happy.
Ooohh! or better yet, buy some discounted supplies and donate to your local animal shelter. Yeah I know I'm being preachy and all but who couldn't use good karma points?1 Previous Review: Show all »

Animal Treasures is truly a treasure. A small friendly pet supply store without the crowds and hassles. Easy parking. Most prices are better then the big pet stores. I would pay a little more for my cat's supplies for the ease and convience. If the store closes, it will be Millbrae's loss. It is very unfair of Millbrae to treat a business so poorly. If Aminal Treasures decide to relocate to another near by city, I will diffenently take my Millbrae business and drive to their new location. I like doing business with small stores verses the big chain stores.

This is by far THE BEST pet store/pet supply store/pet food store in the area! I absolutely love the prices, the quality of dog and cat food they offer and sell, and even the dog treats they have are extremely healthy. The staff seems very knowledgeable when it comes to nutritious food and treats to feed my 4 month old pitbull. Petco and Petsmart cannot even come close to the the prices that this place have to offer. I do not just appreciate the fact that they opened up a nice little local pet store, but just with the products they have to offer for their prices are absolutely unbeatable. I live in San Francisco but I have no problem driving down to Millbrae to buy my pitbull Taste of the Wild from this store. Thank you for such excellent customer service and awesome awesome food for my dog!
Oh yeah! Almost forgot! If you guys buy some fairly big item such as a cat tree, dog/car kennels, they will actually deliver it to your home!! No way in hell any other pet store would do that for you. Thanks a lot Animal Treasures!! you guys are great! See you soon! -

Great friendly staff who know what they are talking about. If you truly care about your pets health, emotions and well being this is a place you need to go to! I have a cat who "is part of the family". In my case he's the favorite child whereas .... well I'm the other child lol. Needless to say anytime Johnny needs something this is the place to go! Local and friendly, what more could you ask for!

employees here are very knowledgeable and offer great service. you can tell everyone here is an animal lover. excellent selection of fine dining needs for your pet. If they don't have what you are looking for, they can order it too! I love playing with the 2 mascots, the bunny and guinea pig!
