The best establishment for grooming birds! Staff is very friendly too. And if you need to board your bird they have facilities for that too!

Great store! Helpful Staff!
Tomi, pretty much the owner of the place is a wonderful asset to help Animal Lover's like you to assist you with your little animal friend! Agustin is just as passionate like Tomi and helps you with anything you need regarding your pets. You know they care and you can tell by the way you talk to them.
What I like about this place is that they carry items for all types of pets. Usually pet stores or pet boutiques say they carry items for all pets, but when you walk in it is only items for dogs or cats. At Animal Lovers, they carry everything from reptiles, birds, to cats and dogs!
I own a parrot and I like how they can board your feathered friend. My parrot is about an Amazon size and it is about $10/day for their stay. You just bring toys and food (if they are on a special diet). They provide other foods and cages that your feathered friend can stay in.
This local business has been here for a while and is not recognized since it's pretty far from the freeway. I highly recommend this place to those who are looking for help with their little animal friend because they care and can help you in any way they can. -

This is the cutest little neighborhood pet shop. I love to visit with the reptiles and the birds. Some of the birds are pretty sassy and aggressive, but they are really fun to watch. I like the selection of turtles and exotic critters. The people here are really friendly, helpful and nice. They have a wide variety of items around the store for all kinds of pets. It is always a pleasure to drop in here.

I like to support small businesses, but loving and supporting Animal Lovers (AL) is more of a pleasure than political statement. Isaiah, my Senegal parrot, and I have been frequenting the shop for years. The staff is extremely knowledge when it comes to parrots; you'll never receive a shrug or puzzled expression. The store is also stocked FULL of every bird supply you can think of, and some you haven't. Another perk is that wing and nail grooming is free! Further grooming like baths and beak filing is also available for a price on most days (call for details).
Definitely look into AL if you are interested in purchasing a parrot. They have a large selection of birds that come from reputable breeders, and animals are well-cared for -- given fruits, veggies, and pellets, as opposed to seeds.
This shop also specializes in reptiles, which I don't own. I've ease dropped on many conversations, and the staff seems passionate about these animals, too. There are many terrariums showcasing them for your viewing pleasure: snakes, frogs, lizards, turtles -- oh-my!
Oh, yeah...AL's owns the bird & reptile boarding place one door down. -

I love this place! So many different animals/birds/reptiles under one roof. This place is small, but I have gotten to know everyone here by their first name. If you want to see exotic variety and get personalized attention, this is the place!

We love love love Animal Lover's! The staff is awesome and very knowledgeable. Augustine takes the time to get you everything you need for your pet. If you have any questions or concerns, he and everyone else there is very helpful. We have purchased 4 snakes from this business and they are always wiling to answer all of our questions. We also own dogs and fish and Animal Lover's carries a terrific supply and selection of the highest quality dog food. Their prices are reasonable and again the staff is fantastic.
I have never seen such a more caring local pet store. I highly recommend Animal Lover's Pet Shop for all of you pet supplies and animal needs! -

the only reason im not giving them a 1 star is because mice and rats are resonable priced and the people are nice. but if i wanna bring my pet to a place to get help, i would rather take it to a plae with mean but helpfuil people than nice and un knowlaged people. another thing is there reptiles. they have small cages for reptiles and dangerous. they had a ball python and boa in the same cage. the boa needs things like higher temps and a hide, but the ball python ALWAYS are in hides so the boa was vunerable. in the tree frogs and anole tank, there was about a 3 inch deep . if a frog jumped into there and didnt find the fake rock, it could drown in a couple mins. idk about anoles but most anioles cant so ya and they killed my friends gecko with bad advice when it wasnt eating

None of us were very impressed with this place. It didn't smell very good (yes, I know pet shops tend to be on the stinky side, but this one was by far the worst-smelling of the three places we had gone that day) and it was dark and cramped. They did seem to have a decent selection of reptiles and birds, but I didn't see very much else. We walked in, took a short look around, and walked right back out again by mutual consent. Didn't even have to ask each other if it was time to go, we all just knew there wouldn't be anything for us there. Ah, well.

The best thing about Animal Lovers is Tomi. More than the quality of the great products or the wide array of reptiles that they have, it is Tomi and her staff that makes AL the place where I shop for my dog.
With Tomi's help we found a food that was perfect for my dog, and he definitely benefited from the better nutrition. The staff has been very helpful when I had questions about what best suited my dog.
Supporting local small business is important to me, but only if the business is worth it! Animal Lovers definitely is worth it.
