Review from Thea J.

We volunteer for an animal rescue and constantly have foster animals coming in and out of our house. On top of that we have a number of our own animals. For the last 8 years the Animal Hospital of Sandy Springs has been our veterinarian of choice.
The staff is amazing, very helpful. They have always answered all of our questions and emailed us research on illnesses our animals were experiencing. They also encouraged us to seek alternate treatment (acupuncture) for chronic disorders plaguing one cat. We've rushed our elderly pet there a number of times and they have always taken him in immediately to help make him more comfortable.
I can't say enough wonderful things about this vet. I don't know how they compare price-wise but I do know that they care about my animals as much as we do - you can't put a price on that.
Also, when they can't squeeze our pet in immediately, they will allow us to drop-off and pick-up later so we can return to work. -

My dog and I love this place!
Being a new pet parent, of course I had a lot of questions, and the vet-techs and the doctors couldn't have been any more helpful and friendly when it came down to answering. Every time it has been time for a check up, my Scottish Terrier seems to get excited with extreme joy the moment we step through the door!
There are about four or five knowledgeable doctors that you an request before your appointment. I, myself, have experienced all of the doctors, and have found a favorite (Dr. Ella Ahearn). Although, all of the docs are very cool!
They offer all of the services that are necessary for our pet's long healthy lives, vaccines, flea prevention, pet food, spay and neuters, and even boarding. I must say, they are very good at needle work, every time they have given my dog a shot, she has never cried, or yet alone whimpered.
I really recommend going to this place for your dog's spay or neuter. They were really kind to give me phone updates through out the day, however, I wasn't worried at all, because I knew she was under good care. However, it was a bit pricey. Oh yeah, they give you a call 24 hours before to remind you of the any appointments you schedule, which is cool!
Overall, I've been very satisfied! -

I have been bringing my dogs here for years and can say this is a top notch facility. Their passion for what they do shows and my dogs love their visits. I have called in many last minute appointments and if they cannot fit me in they will listen to my issue and offer alternative solutions until an appointment is available. The staff is very friendly. I have boarded my animals here and they were well taken care of. The only complaint I have is the time it takes to check out especially late in the day but have noticed that has gotten better. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else.

Been to this vet for about 4 years. We've always been very happy with the service until recently. Our pup had some concerning noises coming from his belly and I took him in immediately in the morning to have him checked out. We were told that he couldn't be seen and that they were all booked up for the day. While I understand them being busy, that's not the experience I expect from our vet when we need them.
