my cat was very sick and i visited  the Animal Emergency Clinic 3 times over the course of 5 days.

everyone there is kind, empathic, and very genuine in their care for animals and their guardians (their word, and i love it).  in the end, my little love had to be put to sleep and i could not have asked for a more compassionate setting.  the staff offered to trim some of his fur for me.  they just get it... animals and pain and how much we love our special little ones, and the money stuff, too.  they were very good about making sure i knew how much everything cost, in a very sensitive way that was still so respectful to my kitteh and his condition.  i opted out of surgery, and my decision was supported 100%... the folks here really want what's best for you, and their suggestions are not profit driven *at all*.  besides all of that, they really know what they are doing.  my regular vet couldn't figure out the problem and referred me here.

if you have an emergency, don't hesitate to come here!!  the staff is caring, very well-trained, and they love animals.  the staff will definitely take care of you and your furry love in a time of need.

Thank you, AEC!  my mr. b and i really appreciated your kindness.

I live in a rural area my dog loves running through the woods!  Unfortunately, she met a porcupine at 8:15 on a Sunday morning and had about 100 quills in her face and mouth.  I called this emergency clinic and they were very understanding and nice and said they'd be expecting us.

Upon arrival, the receptionist immediately invited us into an exam room and gave my husband and me a quick form to complete.  Before I finished with it, the Vet Tech came in and began her exam, which I greatly appreciated.  The Veterinarian, Dr. Vassey, came in within a few minutes and took a look, made his recommendation and said he'd put together an estimate for our approval before putting her under anesthesia.  He came back with the estimate and the injection and my pup was off to la-la land in about 7 minutes.  The doctor returned and took her from the exam room in order to do the quill extraction.  I thought the entire procedure was going to be lengthy but he was back in just 15 minutes and said she was doing well.  He gave her another injection to reverse the anesthesia and brought her back in to recover.  We were back on the road within an hour and a half of our arrival!

I was extremely pleased with the service we received from the initial phone call to my dog's discharge.  Of course I hope that you don't need the clinic in the event of an emergency but if you do, know that your pet will be in great hands!
