Angus lea is a great location for all abilities, the course is in great shape. The owners are very personable and friendly and so is the staff. Weather I'm playing with my golf buddies or my family its a great place to spend the day.

Listen, if you are learning how to golf this location could/would be considered a lot less daunting then teeing it up on 400 yard courses. But with that said the price should reflect the quality and features of the location. This place is one good wind storm away from being closed in my estimation, not a ton of up keep. As a mid level golfer, half the holes give you the feeling that you could get a hole in one. There are mostly kids that work here that really don't give a 'what what' if you enjoy yourself or ever come back. I think there might be one ball washing station on the whole course. The section where the tennis courts are smells very strong of piss, I am pretty sure given the number of boozers that go here that this one reclusive location is where everyone plans on relieving themselves. The people that come here are a mix of snobby and trashy, which makes for great entertainment but not a great experience...
