I have been very happy with Angler Automotive. Kirk seems like a straight shooter and will be honest about what's wrong with your car, what the priorities are to fix, and what it will cost.
My vehicles are always done when they say they will be, and the estimate is always accurate.
On more than one occasion, they have told us that something didn't need repair or replacement, even though we were expecting and bracing for the worst.
These days it seems like most mechanics will try and rip you off for every needed and unneeded repair. I feel like Angler is honest, and that goes a long way. -

After thinking of Angler in a favorable way, I have returned a few times. Each time after my initial visit has been a thorough disappointment. I have been overcharged, hassled, and most important: the work was not done properly. I've never given a bad follow-up, because I try not to write on Yelp unless I feel confident in my opinion. But after getting consistently burned, I do have to change my mind.

We specialize in maintaining your vehicle warranty by performing factory recommended services as well as performing accurate diagnostic and repairs if they do break down.
We also repair brakes, clutches, constant velocity joints, alternators, starters, batteries, cooling systems, computer issues including check engine lights, fuel systems and tune-ups and many other items. (Just ask us.)

History
Established in 1999
Angler Automotive Mobile Repair was established in 1999 with the goal of providing Excellent automotive repair at a Fair price.
The original plan was to provide mobile service to Bellingham and Whatcom county with a store front for larger jobs.
Over the next few years, we realized that in most cases, it was more cost effective for folks to bring their vehicles into the shop rather than repair them on the road.
Thus, in 2008 Angler Automotive Mobile Repair became Angler Automotive and we began to repair vehicle exclusively in our fully equipped 4 bay shop.
As the years have rolled by, we have repaired many vehicles and made many friends.
Over 85% of our clients are both regular customers, (Family?) or referrals and We greatly appreciate the continued support and We will strive to uphold the level of quality that they have come to expect from us.
Meet the Business Owner: Kirk N.
I did the backyard mechanic gig from when I bought my first car (In 1978) to 1983.
In 1985, I graduated from the Automotive program at Bellingham Vocational Technical Institute. (Now known as Bellingham Technical College) and went to work for a local mobile auto repair company.
In 1999 I established Angler Automotive Mobile Repair to provide Honest Personal and Professional auto repair to our community.
