Beautiful park to have a picnic, make out, or just walk around aimlessly.  The view is phenomenal (on clear days).

It gets a little crowded up here, but there's room enough for everyone.  I'll be returning when summer comes for some nice tanning, picnicing, and casual dates with the boyfriend.

A really nice place to take your kids. Cool breeze and nice scenery. I am definitely going back there with my kids soon. The bell is what everybody comes to see. They also have a park within the place. You can have a nice family picnic there.

The Korean Friendship Bell at Angel's Gate Park is a great spot to visit. Beautiful, open, spacious park, right on the water's edge.  You can walk around, and then walk along the trail.  There are many visitors here, international, local, etc.  Some nice landscaping.

Nothing to eat, as I recall, but after visiting the park you can truck on down to Cabrillo Beach or Ports O'Call, or go the other way (north) from Angel's Gate and keep on going to the Trump Resort.

San Pedro is such a nice hidden gem of a neighborhood.  A great day trip.

Wow. This is a pretty amazing place. And there were barely any people there... very rare in LA. Such a unique and great spot.

Wow, what a beautiful park !!  I've been wanting  to take my niece here to fly a kite.

Just lay back out on the grass and enjoy the ocean view and cool breeze.  Parking is easy and the view from all around is absolutely beautiful.  A must visit for anyone and everyone!

Such an awesome hill. Overlooks Pt. Fermin and it's beautiful cliffs.

I've been here so many times, just to fly kites, watch people fly kites, kids play in the barley and scratch themselves uncontrollably. haha.

I've also attended Pow-Wow's here and it's amazing. I believe they throw these every summer. You can pretty much scale the whole hill in less than an hour. Great for hikers and pot smokers, you crazy potheads.

They've also filmed a majority of episodes for VR TROOPERS (wannabe-Power Rangers show) and I used to get all happy just seeing it in the background. :)

I've been there just recently and it looks a bit horrible due to the scolding heat so the grass on the hill is pretty dead at the moment.

Pretty cool place, you have to love San Pedro.

I just love the Korean friendship bell located on this top of the hill park.  And you can't go wrong in playing some hoops with the Pacific Ocean as a backdrop.

Right below is Point Fermin Park which makes this place a 2 for 1 combo on blissful parks to spend the afternoon lounging and walking.

Go fly a kite!  That's what some people do in this park.  It's the ideal place to fly a kite or( for some unwilling to lose their toys over the cliffs off Pt. Fermin) kit planes due to the park's location.   The park is where the Korean Friendship bell is located.  It has a playground, a basketball court with a view to die for!  One can spend an entire day just exploring this area and the sorrounding buildings.  There's an old Catholic church that still conducts mass in Latin, then there's the Marine Mammal Rescue Center across the parking lot, and the Bird rescue center just next door.  Up the hill is the Marine Exchange (I think it's still used as a control tower of sorts for the ships that come into the harbor).  Then there's the surprise finds---old barracks that have been turned into art galleries and studios.  It's the perfect place to go if you're short on cash and longing for an adventure.
