I'm sorry for Dorian G, but I've been using Michael and his crew for 3 years now. I drive a 1998 Honda Accord and they have replaced major parts on my car at minimal cost. Their service is outstanding and I trust them implicitly with my vehicle and my money. It's hard to find a good mechanic. I'm female and have been taken advantage of before by mechanics that think that I'm an easy target to scare. This is not the case with Angels.  Here is the latest example:  My alternator died, and I couldn't get my car to charge my battery.  We managed to get my car to Angels, and waited for the news on the cost.  I thought it was going to be in the $500 and up range for a rebuilt alternator.  Mike called me and told me that it would be closer to $320 and by the way, since I got my battery through them, they would warranty it and get a new battery for me.  While it was there I also asked them to do an oil change.  So long story short, Alternator, new battery and oil change = $350.   Time to repair = 1/2 day.  Trust in a mechanic = priceless.

I will continue to be a customer of Angels El Toro even after the old Honda quits on me, which probably won't be for a while, because they take care of it.

Great place, great work.  I did a fair amount of foot work and research when I needed someone to look at my transmission.  I searched reviews online, spoke to friends and strangers to get a consensus from what was available.

Angel's is a straight forward, do the job right, charge fairly, no games, good ol' fashioned business.  I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who may be in need of transmission work.

NOTE - In my research, stay away from AAMCO - Check them out online and see the reviews and comments.

    All pau, aloha fo' now!

10 years ago I had this old pickup truck that was at least 10 years old at the time and constantly breaking down. I made the tour of all the shops in OC it seems like and always with the same results: 1) They would take my truck in with a quote; 2) Begin the repair; 3) Call me with other "problems" that needed fixing; 4) I would accept or decline; and 5) I would get my truck back after paying a lot of money for repairs. Then my truck would break down again, sometimes even for the same problem I just paid to have fixed!

Then I found Angel's. I have been going there for the last 10 years whenever I need any mechanical repair work done. When I go to Angel's, I explain the problem, they call me with the fix info and the price, and that's it! No unnecessary up-selling of additional "repairs" and the vehicle stays fixed!

The service is top-notch, the quality is outstanding, and the prices are right in line with what a professional repair shop should charge. Not cheap, but not too expensive either. They always work with me to find the most cost-effective way to do a correct repair.

I don't go anywhere else for auto repairs now. Nobody but Angel's touches any of my vehicles!

I hate to break up the party but I really got burned over at Angel's. I brought a car in to have the transmission checked and was charged the $399.00 to examine the problem(which was my first mistake). I was then told it would cost me over $3000.00 to fix it. The vehicle was not worth that much. I declined the repair and that's when the games started. They told me my car was not drivable and I would have to have it towed out of there, even though it worked when I brought it in. After a few rounds of back and forth, they finally agreed to put it back together in working order but they were major jerks about it. I would never recommend this place.
