Angels has always been very professional with their services they provide, and very prompt and timely. Appointments are always available, which is one of the best things about Angels and makes them a top cleaning service in the City!

I am horribly dissatisfied. I waited 3 hours for them to show up. Then when it came time to pay I only got a $5 discount!!!!! I had high hopes from them but I have wasted my ENTIRE MORNING and no one ever even called me to say they would be late. I called at 8:15am (8am was my appt.) and asked what was going on and I was told they were in my bldg and I was next. Well that could not have been true b/c I called back at 10:30am and they were supposedly on their way and then they called when they were at the front door.

I feel really bad writing this update because I was genuinely satisfied with their cleaning job the first time they did it. But subsequent appointments made me feel like an idiot for giving them so many chances. The cleaning just wasn't thorough enough. The shower was still grimy, the kitchen floors were sticky, the cook top wasn't scrubbed at all. Basically my apartment looked neat but it wasn't clean, which is unacceptable since it's a cleaning service, not a tidying service.
I shopped around for a bit and I now use a family owned service that does a much much better job. My 1 bdrm apartment is cleaned from end to end, incl windows, fridge and oven for 50 bucks.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Mireya was awesome! Super helpful, very thorough and a pleasure to work with. They were a little late, but it was the first time I had used them and it was a rainy gross Chicago morning! Definitely not a big deal.
I had them clean my rental unit when my tenants moved out and then I had her clean mine as well. She came with two other helpers and they were in and out in about 5 hours. $10 extra and they cleaned both ovens! Looks brand new! I wish there had been a teensy bit more attention to detail like dust under the radiators or on some of the woodwork - but overall, great job.
I am definitely going to spoil myself and hire them again soon. -

First time using a cleaning service. I did some shopping around, read up on my options and decided to call Angels. Why Angels? They bring their own cleaning supplies- that's huge. Affordable- $55 for a one bedroom, and you pay a flat fee, not by the hour.
The lack of any yelp reviews made me a little concernicus, but whatevs. There aren't many cleaning services that are reviewed in my area and those that are rated aren't necessarily rated well. I'll roll the dice.
I made the appt on Tuesday for noon Saturday- and time was of the essence because I was having 20 people over that evening. By 12:50, they were not there yet. I had my hands full with food I was cooking so my husband called to follow up. He said that woman he spoke to was not friendly and just unapologetically snapped that they were running behind.
Now that just makes me want to scream. I personally don't care if they're running behind but then someone from the service needs to call me. You could say they'd be two hours late for all I care, but I shouldn't have to call you to find this out. It takes two seconds to pick up the rack-a-frackin phone and problem is solved. Anyhow, I realize it's not the fault of these two women (who are knocking on the door at this point) so I decide to let it go...
They did a marvelous job! The kitchen is shiny and smells fresh as a Carolina pine forest. The chrome in the sink was so clean it actually gave the twinkle they embellish onto the containers of cleaning agents. They got the crud from the inside of the microwave. They scrubbed the tub, dusted everywhere (including blinds) and also got into the gross bathroom floor grout. I was home the entire time (probably in their way) but had stuff to do for this party and they just worked around me. Very satisfied with the finished product. Worth every dime. Will use again.
Would easily give 5 stars were it not for 1) the lateness which was understandable but excessive and 2) the poor communication around said lateness. In light of that, dropped to a four.

I've never used a cleaning service before, but this was way painless and they did a great job. They charged me $80 for my one bedroom; I left the key one day while I was at work and it was sparkling clean when I got back. From here on out it's $65 I think. Seems reasonable and I will definitely be going back!
