First rate service! Angelo's is a contractor for AAA. I needed a jump start, called AAA and Angelo's was there in under ten minutes. My battery had it's terminals brushed, then washed. This was followed by a thorough computerized diagnostic and printout that was thoroughly explained to me, then a jump. After all this I received a [clean] hand shake and was asked if there was anything they could have done better--top-notch customer service in under 25 minutes after my call. Bravo!

You know how on TV they always make tow truck drivers seem super shady and awful and you kind of feel badly for actual tow truck drivers because they can't really be that bad? Well, TV producers must have gotten their "shady tow truck driver" character straight from Angelos.

Let's just say AAA received an angry complaining phone call because of their affiliation with these people. Terrible, terrible, terrible. I'm actually a little nervous about the possibility of having to use AAA in the future if their affiliation with Angelo's is any indication of who they use.

The sketchiest and shadiest experience.   DO NOT TRUST THEM!

I had the WORST experience with this towing company.  It was a rainy day and my car skid off the road and my car went up a hill backwards.  I couldn't get my car off the hill because it landed on a huge rock.  I called AAA.  They referred me to this company and indicated that they would be on their way.

The police came to help me out and right away Angelo's towing came.  The man from Angelo's looked at my car, took it off the rock, and drove it so that my car facing the right way on the street.  Right away, he told the cop and me that my car was in no condition to be driven.  The cop and I looked each other because it didn't seem like there was anything wrong it with; however, as I was going to test drive it, he stops me and the cop from getting near my car and kept insisting that it was not drivable.

So, the employee from Angelo's towing company tells me he would take me to the nearest body shop that accepted my insurance.  He ends up taking me to 20-30 mins away from my location to a very SHADY body shop and a location where it appears to be unsafe.  I was by myself, which made the situation even worse.

Both the owner from the body shop and the tower looked at my car and said there were a lot of damages.  They were pointing a lot of different areas underneath the front part of the car and said that it is definitely not drivable and I would have to keep my car at the shop.

Here was when I realized they were scamming...
    1) My car should have only had damages in the back because it went backwards up on the hill.  So, there should not have been any damages in the front.   2) The shop did not take my insurance... even though the tower said that it took mine...

THEN, When I decided to take my car elsewhere after talking with my insurance company.... the body shop indicates that I would have to pay for the towing fee of $300.  There was no reason why I should have paid it because I had AAA.

When I talked to the towing company, the guy said that they never got the AAA report and only got the call from the police, which was totally a lie because AAA told me that they sent the report before the police report.  After discussing it with the body shop and the towing company, I refused to pay for it and told them to talk to AAA.  After that, they told me to leave.

    It gets even better!...

I test drove my car out of there.. I rather risk my life driving the car then staying there.. so when I drove it... I realized that my car was drivable and there were only minor damages.... =/   The guy from Angelo's Towing Company TOTALLY LIED to me..

Angelo wasted 5 hours of my life, almost tried to scam me, lied to me,  and put me in the most dangerous situation.

    I do not recommend them!!!

I've had to call AAA three times so far, and 2 of the 3 times, they sent Angelo's Towing.

The first time, I couldn't start up my car but didn't think it was the battery. I had tried jump starting it right before calling AAA, and it didn't help. I told the guy that came what was wrong, and he automatically knew what was wrong. Apparently my car had a locking mechanism and it had locked itself.

The second time, my car battery was dead. The AAA lady gave me a 30 minute time frame and Angelo's Towing came within the first 10 minutes. The guy tested my battery, let me know what the readings meant, and then jump started my car. He was really nice and helpful!

I am such a dork... I locked my key in my car not because I was being careless, oh no, I just forgot that my car automatically locks after a period of time, and, I on purpose left my key in my car so that I would not get it wet when washing it. Can you say DUMMY! Shows how much I have been driving lately. tee hee hee.

Well I called my trustworthy AAA and they sent me the hero of the day. Angelo's Towing. They were there within 20mins and my car was unlocked in about 1 min. Not to shabby!

Thanks and sorry for being such a dork.

So, I lock my keys in the car all the time. Like, ALL THE TIME. I should be on a first name basis with most of these guys.

But, I was down in SD and did it again. So, I whipped out my handy dandy AAA card and made the call.

Arthur from Angelo's Towing showed up within the promised 30 minutes. He was really nice. He shook my hand, looked me in the eye and got right down the business.

As I said, I have dealt with ALOT of these guys. Arthur definitely stood out. Thanks a million :)

I have used Angelo's towing several times now.  (What can I say, they're the AAA preferred provider and I've been putting off major repairs.)

Angelo's has always provided prompt, friendly, professional service.  I've trusted them to drop off my car at the dealer without riding with them 2 or 3 times now and never had any problem.  They even call you a day later and make sure you were satisfied with the service.  And, even that guy is friendly and courteous.  When I said I was pretty busy, he happily said, "Ok, well this won't take long" and asked me if I was satisfied.

    Yes.

Very helpful last Sunday even though I was cranky tired from a mentally exhausting morning/day.

I called AAA to have someone come out and put air in my flat spare tire.  When Angelo's came out with a response truck (pretty much everything but towing available) the guy helped me out as much as he could.  Turns out the tire wouldn't hold the air, so he called in a tow truck to get things situated.

The first guy (wish I could remember his name, especially since he was a cutie) was extremely nice and patient with me. Stay around until the tow truck showed up ten minutes later.

I ended up riding with the tow truck all the way home (he towed from Fairemont up to my place in Menifee) and had no issues. He was friendly, even stopped and got me a cup of coffee before we hit the 15 North.

Oh, and I left my favorite Camelbak water bottle in the truck and he came back a few minutes later to return it to me.  Yeeeah!

No trouble, explained what they were doing and were quick about it.

    Quick, courteous, well-trained...

The only thing I don't like, although I understand why they do it, is that they first send a battery guy without a tow truck and if it isn't your battery, you have to wait again for the tow truck to arrive. Not too much of a problem though, because they always come very fast.

If I was a chick, on Sundays I would finish a barrel of mimosas in a bikini and call Angelo's towing every 30 minutes faking a engine breakdown cause their drivers are always hot.  I have yet to see an average looking driver and lets face it, your piece of shit car is gonna cost you X amount anyway, so the driver might as well be a looker, right?    Oh, and they're friendly and they suggest good places to get repaired...etc.

The worst, shadiest people to ever own a tow company in San Diego.  Stay Away! These predators like to tow cars in SD & Little Italy during the yearly events and impound LEGALLY PARKED cars at $300 dollars a pop!  They towed 30+ cars from the FESTA event.  When Angelos towed our LEGALLY PARKED car we showed up to get our car out of their lot at the very scary location in Barrio Logan (a dirty little trailer with a sweaty aggressive guy at the counter) they were so hostile to us we had to call the cops! The cops told us they "OWN YOUR CAR" when they TOW your car "if it's on their property" (who knew?) told us to just pay it and leave. Basically, a shakedown. This operation is run by the shadiest, scammers who know the laws in San Diego.  The cops told us to sue them in small claims court for the $300 bucks they ripped off from us to get our car out - then Ol' Angelos charged us an extra $50 dollars for an "aggravation fee" for having the cops show up to sort out the situation! Are you kidding me?  Who do these people think they are? I was so upset I contacted the city who were well aware that the local tow companies basically operate on the edge of legality in towing cars off city streets but they get away with it due to how the laws are written! Legally they can tow your LEGALLY parked car AND charge you for it!  They had ZERO (and I mean ZERO) respect towards women and treated us like dirt - worse than dirt...more like dogs. The staff then proceeds to lie to the cops and claim "I caused damage to another vehicle that was parked in their lot."  Lied right to the cops face in front of me, yes they did.  Outrageous. The cop then goes over to inspect the said damage they claimed I had caused and FOUND NOTHING, Nada, Zippo! Dismissed the claim right there.  But they certainly tried that scam as well.  Disgusting.  Do not, and I mean do not send your Sister, your Mother, your Aunt, or any other female you care about to this place - they really treat women badly and had zero respect or manners towards Americans, our culture. Totally clueless on how we operate in our community as caring citizens - money is the only object here. Angelos is not only dishonest they were downright ruthless!

I woke up this morning to a flat tire.

I called AAA and they said they were dispatching ANGELO'S TOWING.  Maybe 10 min later, the dispatcher for Angelo's called to make sure I was ok and to give me an ETA for their unit.  This dispatcher wanted me to make sure I had their number in case something comes up or if I needed anything else.

Once their unit arrived on scene, I was greeted by Caesar with a handshake.  My battery connection was a little corroded and he took care of that without me asking!

By far the BEST tow truck experience I have ever had!

    Super Clean and Super Professional!

I called AAA for the towing service and was told that I would be connected to Angelo's Towing. I wanted to acknowledge Ramon from Angelo's Towing on his great customer service. Typically, no one likes to get a tow, but this was a really pleasant and carefree experience. He and his trainee really went the extra mile to ensure a great experience.  I am recommending them as it was fast, professional and friendly service.Thank you Ramon and Angelo's Towing. :)

These guys are awesome. My car was dead in my building's parking garage and the operator had to navigate a maze to get to my car. He was clearing the ceiling by about half an inch, but he kept going. He got my car going again by tightening the battery terminals and jumping my car. I thought there might be a problem with the alternator and he called the nearest AAA shop to inquire about rates and testing for me. The car was running fine though so I decided it was probably just the loose connection to the battery. The operator was so friendly he offered to let me follow him to the AAA shop in case my car had any more problems. Now that's what I call service. Super friendly, went the extra mile, and was prompt. What more could you ask for?

I have had two experiences with Sezar Sulaiman from Angelo's Towing and have been thrilled with the experience both times.  They came to the resue via AAA (once for a battery change, once for a flat tire).  Sezar is quick, very thorough, and super customer service oriented.

They're great.  AAA referred me to them.  They tow me home whenever I'm too intoxicated to drive.  JK but that would be cool.  Anyway, their driver got to my location 10 minutes early and was super nice.  Forget GPS, use these guys.  They knew how to get my auto repair location using an unbelievably quick route.  Anyway, I'm stoked.  Hope I never have to see you again but thanks anyway.

Though no one likes to be towed, they came over (via AAA) to help me tow my banshee-screaming car.  I thought it'd have to be towed to a mechanic but Alpha (I think that was the drivers name!) figured out it was a simple problem.  He fixed it, using some tools in my car and I was able to drive off on my own.  Cheap fix, friendly service.  NOTE: it was a AAA recommended and I didn't actually end up using their towing services.

**IF YOU DON'T HAVE AAA DON'T USE THEM!**

My truck broke down so I called them for a tow. I was in La Mesa and it needed to be towed to El Cajon, about 15 minutes away. First off they told me because of the size of the truck they needed to get a larger tow truck and that would cost me $195/HR pro-rated. I figured it's a 20 minute max drive so what's the most they're going to charge me? Big mistake! It took them almost an HR just to pick up the truck and by the time it got to my yard they had charged me for 2 hrs($390), telling me I have to pay for the driver to get back to their facility in downtown SD(+30 minutes). Wow, these guys are price gougers! I tried calling to dispute the charges, but after 4 days of calling them daily and getting no call backs from their "Manager" Mike I finally told them that I will be calling the BBB. The worst part of all this is that 2 days later I had another tow truck company pick up the truck and tow it even further and they only charged me $135! In case you were wondering that's a $255 difference!!!

Bottom line, this place price gouges, their Admin employees barely speak English over the phone, and their customer service is awful! Think twice and maybe a third time before calling Angelo's!
