Pizza is excellent, delivery is quick.
The stromboli and the calzone are terrific and HUGE.
When I work nights and need a lunch to bring, the 6-in-1 (cold cut combo) always makes the rest of the gang jealous. -

I normally order from a different pizza place, but I wanted to shake things up last night. So I google Pizza in Maywood and saw Angelo's had decent reviews so I tried it and I was pleasantly surprised.
I ordered at 7:50 and it arrived at my door 30 minutes later. I ordered a chicken roll and garlic knots. The garlic knots were still pipping hot when they arrived along with the marinara sauce. Then I opened the chicken roll. It was literally 15" long and one of the best I have tasted.
Do yourself a favor and check them out. -

Crispy crust, not over-sauced, good cheese quotient. A personal favorite that just so happens to be right down the block. Way to go!

I've been a loyal customer of Angelo's since high school. So loyal in fact, that whenever I visit Jersey, it's a mandatory destination. Living in SoCal, great pizza is difficult to find--let along great new york-style pizza. The best way to describe pizza in Cali is to not describe it unless you like thick sliced bread covered with Hunt's tomato sauce, topped with Kraft mozzarella. But I digress...
The reason Angelo's still appeals to me is that the taste has remained consistent. The crust is crunchy and the sauce and cheese always burn the roof of my mouth. Two cheese slices and a can of soda will run you less that $5.
If you're a pizza fanatic and don't want to eat at Sbarro's at the Plaza, then definitely give Angelo's a shot. -

This is the worst Pizzeria I've been to. The crust is thin but not crispy and they never use enough cheese. It also seems like the size of the pies keep getting smaller and smaller. Personal pan pizza is ok though. There are two other pizzerias across the street, which aren't the best but they are better.

This place is in my boyfriend's home town and I have to provide full disclosure and say he LOVES this place with a strong passion. That said, the pizza is for sure tasty and by far better than the other places in town. I personally recommend the Philly cheese steak, I used to live in Philly and this cheese steak comes close to my fav street cart in Philly...Yeah I just outed myself as someone who eats from street carts and I am okay with that.

My family and I used to order from there when I was a wee tot. But I actually stepped foot in there for the first time last weekend. Nice little cozy place; good and attentive service. Very good food, and not too pricey. I only wish they accepted debit/credit cards!
