My new favorite brunch spot. The waffles, the crepes, the 'adult' grilled cheese sandwiches, the fro-yo, the smoothies are all excellent. The service is friendly and the place is very homey. Sometimes they might slack in one small spot (like their waffle maker being broken), but they more than make up for it with the freshness and quality of the food.

One of my favorite items is the crepe with chicken, cheese, tomatoes and spinach. Ask for it with a side of honey mustard! The side salad could be a delicious dish on its own, with strawberries and a sweet vinegarette. The sandwiches are great, too. Try the bacon and cheddar, but add some tomatoes. Grilled cheese heaven.

Love this little neighborhood spot.  Flatbreads and smoothies are great.  I also love the self-service ice cream section.

I haven't tried the coffee yet.

great new place in my fav shopping district midtown! was on the way to cheese course due to fellow yelpers reviews..but angelinas had a great lunch deal advertised...It was 9$ for a sandwich (yummy grilled  cheeses), soup, drink, and yogurt...

Overall, its a nice lil sandwich shop...adult grilled cheeses, flatbreads, and coffee drinks..

I had a Cheddar cheese sandwich and a cup of awesome tomato-red pepper soup!

I don't really like any of these serve yourself yogurt places so I didn't try...thats all folks!

    Happy New Year yelpers!

Great food options, great service with a smile (especially the younger guy), great service as in they leave you alone and just cage when you need something - great local place to work quietly. Best alternative to Starbucks.

Great addition to Midtown.  I love that there is indoor and outdoor seating and love that they serve Panther coffee.  I've only had the Nutella crepe (can't go wrong with that) but the other options on the menu look fantastic. Fast and friendly service.  I did come on a weekday night, so not sure if it's more crowded for lunch or on weekends.

...You can't go wrong with a place that makes panini sandwiches/ waffles to order (toppings bar included), has sour fro-yo on tap and boasts the like of Panther Coffee. Awesome specials. Right in the heart of Midtown. Art Walkers -seek refuge! Great spot for brunch, people watching (just spotted a dude sporting a Dali mustache (true story!)) and/or just getting your work on. Support local, my friends!

There's a phrase in Cuban Spanish - "Comer con los Ojos" - eating with your eyes - that explains my pleasant situation at Angelina's.

Perhaps suffering PTSD caused by the tapas fixation of Midtown restaurants I ordered a tad much when I stopped by for Sunday brunch with Lizette, and we ended up with plenty of food left over. It's refreshing to see a restaurant still serving FULL SIZE MEALS that leave a hungry man full. Throw in pleasant and attentive service, with no automated gratuity, and you have two very grateful patrons!

I started with a lightly poured mimosa (yes, they still get 5 stars because I requested said light pour - see? Their staff pays Attention to Detail!) and a tasty large omelet consisting of ham, turkey and mozarella cheese with multigrain toast delivered to my table. This thing filled my plate, was visually pleasing to my eyes and tasted damn good. You could discern the flavors. Happy Serg! Lizette ordered a slightly different omelet and I'll let her tell you about hers :)

Next up I ordered a strawberry nutella crepe to share with plenty of strawberries and generous chocolate drizzle to share with my brunch. The drizzle was sweet, the fruits fresh and the crepe soft. We also shared a LARGE waffle with strawberries and creme brought already prepared to our outside table, at a decent time sequence to our omelet main course.  I ended up taking home left overs from all of the courses.

In addition to our specific instructions on alcohol, both the cashier and bussers were generally pleasant and with sharp service. They were patient when  I was placing my orders and even when they had to take the syrup to another table were apologetic and with a great attitude.

It was my first time at Angelina's and know for a fact it won't be my last!

    Brunch at Midtown...

Sergio F. and I went on a Sunday morning for brunch at Angelina's and neither left disappointed.

We both ordered the omelet; however, the one I ordered came with turkey, American cheese and spinach. The omelet was huge and tasted exceptional.  The omelets are served with your choice of toppings and include up to 3. All omelets are also served with your choice of toast and I choose mine with the multigrain toast.

We also ordered the strawberry nutella crepe and the waffle topped with strawberry and bananas. The crepe and waffle were to die for. They were soft, chewy and absolutely amazing.  You can taste the freshness of each ingredient as you bit into each bite.

The servings are good in size resulting in leftovers for Sergio. Aside from the food and location, the service was absolutely remarkable.  Everyone was extremely friendly and efficient.

I highly recommend this quaint little restaurant and can't wait until I return.

I've been to Angelina's a few times, and each time I'm impressed by the cuteness of the place.  It's cozily decorated with dark walls that contrast with the slew of frozen yogurt dispensers along one long wall, and the kitchen area along the other long wall. They've got an extensive menu of crepes, sandwiches, and small bites.  I've had their crepes twice and yogurt once.  The crepes are damn good. And large enough to keep you satisfied for a long time (well, satisfied that is, unless you consumer more than 3,000 calories a day ;).  The yogurt is good.  Not the chain variety made from powder - but the type you know had a bit of extra lovin' put into it.  And to spice up the mix - Angelina's sells wine and beer.  God bless the variety :)

Cheese Course beware because Angelina's has some amazing grilled cheese sandwiches.  When I walked in to Angelina's and first thing I noticed is that the restaurant smells like fresh waffles.  Its that smell that scented candles try to replicate but just can't get right.  I didn't order a waffle this time but I know I will be back.

I ordered the adult grilled cheese sandwich with chorizo, tumac (which is a spread) and side salad.   I really enjoyed the salad which had goat cheese, walnuts and fresh strawberries.  I have to say the apricot, peach and pear smoothie = WIN!

I won't repeat what Monica C. said because we were obviously together.

However I will give Angelina's a piece of my mind!
Fine, you don't want to honor the coupon..I get it, maybe it was a scam. No biggie, so we ordered lunch the Prosciutto and Havarti panini and the five spice chicken flat bread.  Prosciutto was good, toasty no complaints.
But the flatbread...EeeeWwww!! First off flatbread, usually means like a pizza flatbread, right? No, this was a thick flatbread pita sandwich concoction.  And what was inside was enough to make you cringe!
One bite and it was over!!!

Luckily there was a "waiter" bringing sandwiches to the table next to us. I called him over and explained the shear nastiness of this pita sandwich. Then I asked him if we could switch it for something else.

Now is this an illogical question? Don't restaurants normally cater to their customers taste?

I'm was so confused, his response, "Ohhh...i didn't make the sandwiches and I'm new. I don't want to bother the people making the sandwiches. I'm sure if you go inside and tell them they can hook you up."

    Whatttt!!!!!!! LOL...I almost died!!!

So we left our crappy food and wondered over to the cheese course for a re-do!

    need I say more?

I am a huge fan of comfort food and this is just it, but with a kick! The place is super cute & eating outside makes it even cutter.  I loveeeee the menu and super yummy.  And the service is not bad either, it just very informal come as you are places.  which is not completly bad.

A couple of weeks ago I say an online deal for this place.  Before buying the coupon, I called them and asked if it was valid.  They told me that it was absolutely valid so I purchased the coupon.

When I get to the restaurant a couple of days later, I place my order and when I go to pay I was told that they would not honor my online deal.  I told the guy that I had called and was told that it would be honored.  He told me they wouldn't honor it.  Not to make a scene I go ahead and pay for lunch with my creditcard.

I would have overlooked the previous ordeal if the food would have been great.  I went with Jackie S and we ordered 2 different sandwiches.  The first one we had was decent.  However, the second one looked like dog food.  It tasted equally as bad.

Thank the heavens that Chesse Course is next door.  We left our un eaten sandwich and went next door for a real meal.

Can't say enough good things about Angelina's - cute shop with grilled cheese, froyo and an amazing little side salad.

For one thing they have red velvet froyo - have yet to find it anywhere else close by. Kinda making me want some right now!

First time I got the havarti, goat cheese, procuitto and tomato grilled cheese - wow. That was amazing! The goat cheese was so creamy - def not the kind I pick up in publix.
They asked me chips or a side salad. Since I'm trying to eat healthier i went with the side salad...
again with the amazing goat cheese! Mix of greens, walnuts, goat cheese, strawberries, tomato and a raspberry dressing - the most amazing side salad i've ever had!

Second time I got the provolone, chorizo, tumac - eh, not great. It was greasy and just bleh in my book.
But this time I found out a little secret! They offer a small cup for frozen yogurt for $1- it's like a combo package.

Why didn't I know this before???

So yeah - get that combo and enjoy a grilled cheese with a froyo. Quite amazing :)

If only Miami had more places like this perhaps we would be as cool as Seattle on the cafe front.

This place is everything a cafe should be and with the added self-serve yogurt  bonus, it makes for the perfect Miami munch spot. Something for everyone, warm sandwiches, crepes, local coffees, teas...I wanted it all.

We had the Adult grilled cheeses:
#4-fried egg, bacon, sun-dried tomato, swiss cheese all on sourdough so perfect for grilling and oregano with a bag of chips for $7.50
#8-Prosciutto, gouda, goat cheese, tomato and spinach on multigrain bread with a side salad which was also $7.50 and I decided to make it a combo for a $1 extra to add on a small frozen yogurt.
The sandwiches were big enough to share and very tasty. The gouda and goat had loads of cheese which I would never complain about but perhaps might be a bit much for another.

Yogurt- Tahitian vanilla swirled with raspberry tart which went perfectly with the dulce leche. Topped it off with chocolate covered sunflower seeds and it was the perfect end of meal treat.

This place was an instant lunch time favorite. Looking forward to returning for breakfast.

Wow!!! i was planning on going to another nearby restaurant when we noticed how packed angelinas was and decided to check it out.

We browsed the menu and decided on some grilled cheese sandwiches but looked at everything else and knew we were coming back for brunch - omelet, crepes, and waffles with some unlimited mimosas. sounds like perfection!!

    Anyway back to our lunch.
one of thee best sandwiches ive ever had - brie walnuts apples caramelized onions w honey mustard on country white bread. OMG
the bacon cheddar on parmesan sourdough was good but didn't stand a chance against the brie powerhouse!!

Both came accompanied w delicious fresh salad w mixed greens tomatoes strawberries walnuts and goat cheese.

    All this for 16 bucks.
    Amazing!
    Cannot wait to go back....

The kind of place where you take a look at the menu and are instantly enamored by every item. I definitely felt like a big kid in a candy store.

Waffles and FroYo - an exciting combination. They basically give you a giant waffle (I chose Honey Maple, I think), and let you go to town on the frozen yogurt machine and toppings.

Adult Grilled Cheese Sandwiches - make an adult version of a kid favorite, and you've won my heart.

They also have a huge variety of breakfast/brunch favorites. Rest assured, they will have something you want. From chocolate croissants, to good coffee, Angelina is a good girl to have around.

Wishlist: Please add fans outside, my froyo is melting!

This Anti-Starbucks is a hip coffee joint with an outstanding selection of breakfast and brunch treats. I'm a big fan of the Adult Grilled Cheese #2 with brie and apples - and it comes with a really good salad, too.

The handful of beautiful hipster regulars who use Angelina's as their office also lends an interesting vibe.

Cute little spot in what they are calling midtown Miami. I had a lunch special crepe, basically caprese, with tomato, mozz, and basil. It was ok, needed just a hint of balsamic to make it great. The special was only 8.95 for you choice of "adult" grilled cheese, crepe, or flatbread with chips or soup or salad and a small fro-yo. I thought it was a good deal considering it was good and most places in Miami are ridiculously overpriced. They have outdoor seating so you can watch the construction going across the street. LOL.

Angelina's beckons me to come over for some of their delicious food stuffs and coffee. Their cafe con leche is among the best I've had. Once I place my order for a buttery croissant avec ham and cheese and a cafe con leche with lots of sugar, I see Angels dancing above my head much like Billy Bob saw for his Angelina.

My Angelina has craft beers on hand, Froyo, Pastries, Waffles, Crepes and Sammys. Fresh n' tasty, warm and welcoming,
There's magic at Angelina's and I can feel it.

I really want to give Angelina's 4 stars but two strikes against it on separate visits have diminished it's shine in my coffee galaxy.

When I first discovered that they offered almond milk as an option, I was ecstatic. So hard to find that at coffee shops. However, I must have been the only person ordering my coffee beverages with almond milk because after about 4 visits I got a batch of rancid almond milk. Since I had already driven away the only recourse left to me was to throw it out. Waste of $$ is such a bummer. Since then I have stuck to their drip coffee, however today I ordered one and thank god I didn't drink all the way to the bottom because when I poured out the remaining coffee I encountered a cup FILLED with coffee grounds. YUCK!

Now, on to the good stuff. Their fro-yo is divine and the variety of flavors is impressive. The red velvet seriously takes like the batter to red velvet cake. MMMMmmmmmMMM. You could totally just sample yourself out with all their flavors and if you decide to get yourself a whole cup you put as much frozen yogurt and toppings as your heart desires and then weigh it. The food I have tried has been yummy, although I did find the last croissant they gave me a little too sweet for the ham and cheese sandwich which was odd considering the first one I had wasn't like that. The grown up grilled cheese I ate was delicious and I definitely plan on returning to sample more from that menu. I also love the fact that they have craft beers, the selection is small but good. The waffles, omelets and crepes are next on my hit list.

I am hoping that they become a little more consistent so that I can update this review and bump them up a star, they definitely have the potential.

Okay food, the lunch deal is good, but the yogurt at Yogurbella is superior.  Friendly waitresses, though their male counterpart seems to lack a lot in customer service (as in, he may be better to hang in the back).  Overall a decent meal at a reasonable price.

The best waffles I ever had! I also ordered the cheddar cheese, hickory bacon, and parmesan crusted sourdough bread. My only gripe was it having a slightly burnt taste, which I believe was from the parmesan, and the bacon was a bit too fatty. I'm still giving 4 stars because of the "wow factor" I got from the waffles and the potential it has.

They have a friendly staff and I plan on going again to try more of the menu.

Adult conversations I've had.  Adult bookstores...umm...I've been to one or two.  But, adult grilled cheese sandwiches?  Oh, YES!  As the name implies, this is the simple and familiar grilled cheese 'all growed up' with more nuanced, creative fillings in a convenient economy size.

Last night, in a fit of peckishness (and, frankly, a need for alcohol absorption), I had a hankering for something decadent.  While a slice of pizza was my first instinct, the pizza shop was packed, and contrary to popular belief, I don't do lines.  So, I walked a bit further to Angelina's where my needs were met and satisfied by the most perfect grilled cheese I've ever had outside of my own home.  Coming with a side salad of baby greens and strawberries, it made for the perfect late night bite.

At Angelina's, there are a number of combinations of adult grilled cheese sandwiches from which to choose, and I intend to eventually choose them all.  So, five stars given to the worthy adult grilled cheese at Angelina's.  My only worry is my waistline.  As an adult, I know that there are consequences to one's actions.  For some adult grilled cheese action, I'm willing to suffer the consequences.

I want to come here for breakfast!!!

I arrived around 3pm on a Sunday and people were still brunching. The food looked so good, but I wasn't hungry. I was just meeting a friend for coffee and decided to order a cappuccino prior to her arrival. I love a place that can make a good cappuccino and Angelina's has it down pat. The perfect balance of milk and foam!

After about three hours there (yes, I was on an extended stay apparently), I decided I needed to munch on something. I went with the #4 The Swiss Cheese sandwich. I changed the bread from Country to Rye. My only suggestion is that I wouldn't have it again with the Dijon Mustard- it really over powered the turkey bacon, swiss and even the rye flavor.

My friend ordered some frozen yogurt and was pleasantly pleased.

Seriously, their menu is so inviting...crepes, breakfast, grilled cheese sandwiches, craft beer, coffee, tea, fro yo! Hey and evian is their bottled water of choice, LOVE!

I can't wait to come back!!!

After dinner we decided on a short walk through Midtown.  Coffee, yes please, froyo and desert, sure why not.  Small and quaint, cute with seating inside and outside.  The frozen yogurt is set up to help yourself and what was nice was the ability to get a small sample with the tiny little cups.  They had around eight flavors to choose from.

Then all kinds of fixins to add to it.  From coconut flakes, chocolate chips, and yes some of the freshest fruit I have ever seen.  You pay for it all by weight, be careful it can add up very quickly.  The two guy's did get a small cup with some additives but I chose coffee and a small mini tangerine cupcake.

The yogurt was not  to my liking.  The coffee, cafe con leche was fabulous.  Really great cup of coffee.  The mini cupcake was good with the strongest taste of tangerine that you can imagine.  The cake part was very moist and tasty while the inside was filled with a tangerine preserve.  Good, just a bit to much flavor for me.

We sat outside enjoying conversation.  Really cute place to chill and enjoy some good coffee or desert.  Or maybe some of their sandwiches.  Next time might have to check out some food.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that Angelina's has so much more to offer than just coffee and yogurts. Upon entering this little treasure on the corner of midtown, I was enveloped by the strong aromas of fresh bread and cheeses. The turkey Swiss avocado crepe had my taste buds jumping for joy, and the strawberry walnut goat cheese side salad almost brought a tear to my eyes.. At last the PERFECT spot for lunch. My companion had an adult grilled cheese, which included all the ingredients necessary for food that comforts the soul. The owner did the order taking and also provided some live entertainment while we were eating, because he talks very loudly! Angelina's Is a wonderful addition to the Mecca of midtown restaurants and although small in size is a fair contender with the other restaurants because they do flavor in a big way.

    Waffle Heaven.

You could stick out your tongue and the very smell in the air will latch on and you can breathe  in and taste the  warm, delicious, Nutella Waffle.

And when you do actually have said waffle, with your choice of toppings ranging from fresh fruit to Reese's pieces to their selection of fro-yo which is already deliciously enticing on it's own - it's a tasty tasty delight for your tastebuds that doesn't hurt your wallet.

Convenient local cafe with some nice treats.

    What I like
    1) The adult grilled cheese sandwiches.  My favorite is the Swiss Cheese with fried egg, bacon and sundered tomato.  Its a breakfast grilled cheese sandwich and they serve it with a side salad which has strawberries and strawberry vinaigrette.  It's a great breakfast.
    2) The crepes are awesome.  They have some very nice savory crepes - my favorite is the Reuben which tastes exactly like a good reuben sandwich but in crepe form.  I also like the Nutella and Banana crepe which is simple but delicious.
    3) The waffles are amazing topped with nutella, ice-cream and berries.
    4) Great service from the owner and his team.
    5) Quick.

    What they could improve
    1) More crepe varieties.

Get the waffle... amaaaaaaaaaazing! The service is great -- they are so friendly! And the coffee is good... you get soft serve with your lunch! How can you go wrong! And there's the waffle... this epic carbohydrate brick of deliciousness that you can top with toppings of your choosing... I always get the fresh fruit on top.

If you are in the area and love waffles, you must go! And even if you don't love waffles, everyone I know that's tried the other menu items have loved them!

Perfect petite place for catching up on conversation and caffeine...

It's cozy and friendly, the people who work here are lovely and always ready with a warm smile. The place was named after the owner's young daughter. She's also the mastermind behind the adorable children's table.

Frozen yogurt, coffee, sodas, teas, baked goods... all available here and you'll also find a steady stream of Midtown locals

    Plus they have wi-fi!

A great addition, we need more coffee spots like this...

    # 2 on the menu !!!The grilled cheese with the brie, apples, and caramelized onions is amazing. The sandwich also comes with a choice of chips, or salad. I went for the salad with fresh strawberries, walnuts, and goat cheese. Place is very cute inside, the service is very friendly. You have to go in and order they do not have table service. I brought my dog and sat  outside they have about 8 outside tables, and a few inside. They also have self serve frozen yougurt !

Although I mostly come here to have breakfast, their lunch menu is pretty solid as well.
For breakfast I usually go light so a hot croissant with ham and cheese and a cup of coffee certainly does the trick.
I have also had their waffles, which are a decent size, in fact you may want to consider sharing it... top it with some fruit and nutella and you have the breakfast of champions.
For lunch, their sandwiches are quite unique and very good as well, I would definitely like to see better value, as they can get a little on the pricey side for what you get but aren't we supposed to eat less anyway ?
And of course, don't leave without a cup of their frozen yogurt, it is self serve and quite good.
Sit outside if you can, Midtown mornings are simply beautiful !
