Review from Janet P.
Menlo Park, CA
Located off one of the smaller side streets off of Santa Cruz Avenue, Angela is one of the newer, more upscale clothing boutiques downtown.
Gorgeous store interior, I felt slightly underdressed walking in. It has an inviting, elegant and modern feel. The color palette is very soft and warm: light greys, white, champagne, mauve, blush pinks, blues.
Brands: Peter Som, Schumacher, Herno coats, Pedro Garcia shoes ... lots of European and other international brands.
Gorgeous jewelry near the register area.
I didn't buy anything but I'd come here if I wanted to totally splurge or reward myself with a solid "investment piece." -

Cute little local boutique. It is hit-or-miss for me whenever I pop into Angela's; nevertheless, it's always a pleasant experience.
Most recently, I stopped in looking for a cute top for a birthday dinner. The usual boutiques just weren't doing it for me... And it's times like this that Angela's can surprise with a cool new piece. She has started carrying a few of the cool and hip Paul Smith Black label items. Paul Smith is a London-based designer known for taking the classic school girl, or school boy, look and having fun with it -- bright colors, vivid stripes and contrasting patterns with precise and extra sharp tailoring.
I walked out with a fabulous little Paul Smith top, light and airy with a ton of vibrant color - perfect for the warming weather! I also saw a few delicate necklaces that I just may be taking a closer look at soon...
Bottom line (well, my bottom line): I have noticed that a lot of the pieces, in general, are far more conservative than I prefer. But sometimes I get lucky and find a piece, or designer, I fall in love with! Most recently, Paul Smith. I have now added the designer on my "watch" list - Angela does deliver! -

More like a museum than comfortable store. Not my idea of a fun shopping environment, but if you're looking for hi-end stuff this is a good place to start.
