A hidden little treasure!
Every time I come in I am always greeted and they are always so nice!
I love coming here. My favorite is the Reese brownie cupcake. It has an actual Reese piece on the bottom!!! I absolutely love this place!
Try it out!
I can't way to go again! -

wow! so light and fluffy!! great idea for a cupcake being angel food cake. really loved the texture of the cake itself and the frosting was tasty and light.
lemon cupcake: 4
hazelnut brownie: 5!!
usually with hazelnut baked goods, you can barely taste the nutella, but man, did i taste it and loved every bite! outside a wonderful crisp coat and inside, all gooey, sweet and flavorful. not too sweet-oh, just right! will go back just for that.
will go back for the choc ganache that everyone else is raving about!
bonus: local business!!
pudding: tried it free with sagona's free item this week: mmmm, really pudding. wonderful texture and real choc flavor! -

I dropped by their shop the previous week to buy a few different flavours to figure out what we wanted to order. My hubby & I got to try out the strawberry, lemon-lavender, rosewater & tangerine. We ended up going with the strawberry (although the lemon-lavender was a close second).
I ordered 3.5 dozen cupcakes for my baby shower -- half were the standard size, other half were the mini cupcakes. I wasn't supposed to do anything for the baby shower but felt bad that my friend/baby-shower-host would have to end up making a ton of cupcakes!
In the end, hubby & I decided on the strawberry angel food cupcakes and asked them put a bit more strawberry pieces in the cupcakes themselves and to tint the buttercream a slight shade of pink (we're having a baby girl). Everyone raved about the cupcakes! It was light & airy, different from the usual cupcakes. The service was excellent too; Debbie & Chris were so nice and took the time to chat with me. The price of their cupcakes were a lot more reasonable too (their prices are on their website). Plus, the minis weren't that small, just slightly smaller than the average size cupcake. -

Amazing!
Out of this world cupcakes. Owners are such lovely people too, makes you feel like a family member.
I got their cupcakes for my wedding and I loved them as much on my big day as ever since!
Go get 'em! -

Love this place and supporting a local business. Every time I stop by they have new crazy flavor to try and the ladies who work there are so sweet. Last time they had lemon-blueberry, mint chip, orange abd malt ball. The angel food cakes really are heaven and I bring one to any party I can to spread the word about this place so they can grow!

Beautiful and delicious! Beautiful and warm women making terrific food. Organika Juice is so delicious. Had the Green Dream today and loved it, so good. I will frequent often.
The location is interesting. Space is shared with a very nice ice cream counter, but I don't often eat ice cream and didn't go there for that. Went particularly to get an Organika juice and will be going back for more...definitely an angel cake and other items, but always a green juice! So excited I discovered this terrific local organic real juice juice bar (thanks to yelp!) and hope they expand the juice selections with a couple more...cause it's just so good and full of nutrients. -

I'm not a sweets person. I don't eat chocolate except on rare occasion when the craving strikes and then it's a small tidbit along the lines of a peanut M&M. I do like a good vanilla milkshake, though, and one day I was strolling by and saw that Angel Heart has ice cream. I ducked in for a homemade shake and have been coming back for other things ever since.
Besides the usual bakery goodies and a decent selection of ice cream, AHC now has breakfast. In fact, we are talking hangover cure, breakfast of champions. They have the most delicious, little personal quiches (is that proper plural??) - sausage and feta for those hearty appetites, and veggie for those non-carnivours. They were so good that I ate four of them! Washed them down with one of their hand squeezed power drinks - carrot and beet something or other - and I was ready for the day.
The women who run the place are as adorable as their fare, and will make sure you leave happy, no matter what your taste.
TIP: I'm told they have good coffee too (for those who prefer it over beet juice). -

I've been there twice and they don't disappoint. Great Coffee and incredibly good cakes and pastry. The mini-pies are to die for.
My wife just tried the cake and we can't wait for another occasion to justify buying another cake.
Plus, it feels great to support a small-local business. -

I FINALLY made it in to Angel Heart Cakes yesterday all ready to buy my cakes only to discover that we had arrived @ 45 minutes past closing...... Debbie and Steve were there cleaning up and were gracious enough to offer me some scrumptious cakes to buy! Thank you for bending them rules just a bit so that I could bring a mixed berry and a chocolate ganache to my dinner party.
Ah the benefits of a locally owned business!
Happy, happy me! -

Newly opened storefront at Marsh Manor Shopping Center, located right next to Los Gallos Taqueria.
I came in today for a last minute birthday treat for one of my co-workers. She loves angel food cake and I tracked this place down. Conveniently located about 10 minutes away from my office, this was the perfect spot! Chris was very friendly and attentive to my needs. She put together a wonderful little sampling assortment, and even let me try one of the rosewater mini cakes. It was delicious, they have amazing buttercreams! The cakes were a hit and I ended up placing a large order for the birthday party on Monday. Great concept, great execution, and great customer service [they are closed on Mondays, but are letting me pick up an order despite their closure, awesome customer service!]. I have high hopes for this place, and look forward to using them for many future birthday celebrations! -

I got a delicious little mini brownie (with mint flavor) cooked in it's own cupcake holder. Just awesome, and reasonably priced at $2.25. I will be back!

I chose this bakery to buy my co-worker's birthday cake because of good reviews from yelp and their website. I was disappointed that when I got there, there's only two choices of medium sized cakes and the lady said that we needed to pre-order it. It wasn't on their website when I checked it out. The cake was really, really good. We picked the chocolate chip with chocolate ganache and it's the bomb!!!! It's so light and airy. It's not that sweet either.

What can I say. Stopped in today after work to get some Ice Cream and ended up with a mini-cake to. Had the Chocolate Chip Cake with a Buttercream Frosting. It was so good. Light and airy, like a Angel Food Cake should be. The frosting was also very light, and not overly sweet like some frostings tend to be. I'll be back soon for another Cake.

We had a baby class held a few blocks away and during break we went to Angle Heart Cakes for a quick treat. The place is open and airy, and the display of angel food cakes is amazing. They are absolutely delicious, and you can taste that they are made carefully by hand with love.
Angel Heart Cakes also subleases to Queen Bee Ice cream, which serves specialty ice cream (Marianne ice cream from Santa Cruz). We didn't have the ice cream but we bought several Angel Heart Cakes cupcakes home and just had them for dinner. Excellent!
Stop by if you're in the area. I believe they also cater to parties and events. We know where to get cupcakes for future events! -

Anyone looking for delicious, decadent yet waist-friendly treats MUST come to Angel Heart Cakes! Every time I stop by they have fresh, new treats, including brownies and cupcakes. The pumpkin angel food cake is to die for, and the crunchy granola is perfectly sweet and salty. The service was fantastic as well. The girl who helped box my sweets and rung me up was smiley and warm while the two women who own the place are as sweet as they come! I will definitely be back often!

The cakes and cupcakes are delicious and because they're made of angel food cake, they're light. My personal favorite is the cupcake with frosting that has a hint of rosewater in it, but the Nutella cupcakes and the lemon meringue and chocolate chip are good too. There's also single servings of a delicious banana pudding with generous banana chunks. I haven't tried the granola, but it looks good.
These cakes and beautiful and would be perfect for parties, showers, or gifts. A single cupcake comes in a little box with a cellophane window and would make a good gift for a birthday.
The bigger angel cakes have less frosting, just a glaze in most cases, and are so light that they would make a perfect dessert when you don't want to overdo it. -

Leave it to two savvy women to breathe new life into an old favorite and make it even better. Light, fluffy, flavorful, and delicious. The flavor combinations are outstanding and creative. On Christmas Eve, we picked one up at Robert's in Woodside (so happy to see them in stores!) and tried the peppermint cake with chocolate glaze for our Christmas Day dinner with friends/kids. It was gone before I even had a chance to try it. Oh, the torture!
My favorite is the lemon cake (no filling) with rosewater glaze! The lemon flavor with the slight tang of the rosewater makes my mouth water in anticipation of the next bite. I am embarrassed to admit that when we have one, I hide the last piece of cake from my kids so I can enjoy it all by myself! I've had the mini cakes and large cakes but I see that also sell mini cupcakes. That is next on my list to try.
On the way to taking the kids ice skating at Ice Oasis, I saw a sign for their first store in Marsh Manor mall. I think they will be opening later this month. I can't wait. -

I went here a couple days ago. This place is great. The angel food cakes are so yummy. They even make angel food cupcakes with frosting! Soft, light & fluffy, pure perfection! The Angel ladies are so nice and they even share the space with another nice lady who owns Queen Bee ice cream. How great is that. Angel food cakes & ice cream together in one place. Will be back every week to get my fix!!!!
