I fell in love with Andy's when my sister went to Southwest Missouri State in Springfield, MO. My family is full of frozen custard snobs, and this one runs a close second behind our true love, Kopps, in Wisconsin.
Luckily it's a solid #2 and worth a trip every time we visit SW Missouri. When my husband and I took a trip to the Ozarks over the weekend, we were (I was!) ecstatic to find out there was a location near our resort.
We got lost a few times trying to find it, but it was so worth it. The custard is creamy and smooth, and with an endless assortment of toppings and options, everyone can find something they love.
My new obsession is the James Brownie Funky Jackhammer. The name is as ridiculous as the custard is amazing.
If only we could get an Andy's in St. Louis.... -
