Even the bathroom smells clean!
The wife and I started off with a Caesar's salad and it was great. I loved the croûtons. Some of the best I have ever had.
The wife ordered a petite fillet while I ordered the bone-in rib-eye. She didn't like her first bite as the steaks are all char grilled but she loved it after the first bite.
My rib-eye was amazing. Medium rare and juicy. Full flavored and not to thick a cut. I find thinner cut rib-eye steaks are usually tastier.
I will return next visit to St. Louis! -

Andria's... oh Andria's... Sadly my first visit will be my last. All the cool dark wood paneling and neat looking decor, and an amazing patio (that I could only longingly glance at through a window) can't save you from two simple facts:
1. Your food sucks
2. Your bartenders make shit drinks
Admittedly I was part of a large group visiting Andria's celebrating a birthday. And admittedly the service was pretty decent thanks to two energetic, smiling and friendly waitresses (silver lining, see it's not all negative).
I tried two different mixed drinks and they were absolute garbage. There's more to making a tasty drink than drowning the thing in booze. I appreciate a generous pour like the next guy but I did order a MIXED drink. Make it tasty. If I order the drink neat then by all means. The missus' drinks - pomegranate martini, appletini, javatini... yup all terrible.
The food was more of the same. In fact the highlight of my meal was the caesar salad. The salad. At a steak house. Was the highlight. Clearly things are amiss.
Our appetizers were actually pretty good the highlight being the calamari which was generous pieces of lightly breaded calamari and sauce. The mussels are a minuscule helping of a dozen or sad little mussels swimming in an average tasting sauce.
The steaks are where Andria's falls flat and fails miserably as a steakhouse. The wife went with her standby Filet and I chose the Strip Steak both ordered medium-rare. What we were served were two of the most unsavory, tasteless, and overcooked lumps of protein I've ever attempted to consume. The poor cow that gave up his meager existence to become such a sad steak... it's a tragedy. The steaks were so bad in fact that neither of us finished ours and ended up tossing the left-overs. Out of our entire party of 30 or so folks I think maybe two liked their meal.
Now normally I'd weigh the meal against a few factors including where it is I'm eating. At around $30 or so bucks a steak Andria's is clearly shooting for an upscale dining experience. The tab for my wife and I came to $150(ish) for the night. Not terrible had I been at Flemmings, Ruth's Chris, or (insert other quality steak house here) but for Andria's... well, we felt less than satisfied.
Again to be fair we didn't address our concerns with management. We were at a birthday party and didn't want to turn the evening sour by bringing up our experience. Probably a dumb move but when so much is so wrong we felt it better to cut our losses and resolved to not come back. -

My friend just drove by today and called me to say they are closed and there are signs saying Oceana will open soon at this location. So sad...I loved their Sunday brunch.

Here tonight for a business dinner in the private dining room with about 30 other folks. Didn't know they had a private dining room.
Lovely salad of mixed greens, hard-boiled egg, tomato, fresh mushroom and red onion. Nice oil-and-vinegar(?) dressing.
Entree choices were numerous. I selected the filet mignon. Medium rare. Came with garlic mashed potatoes (skin-on, red potatoes). Immense piece of meat beautifully prepared. Perhaps a bit more on the rare side, but more than acceptable. The potatoes had lovely garlic flavor. And I do love that skin-on texture!
Both needed salt and pepper. Gross negligent error in basic seasoning.
Dessert was cheesecake. There were at least three varieties I saw. I got what they served, which was probably turtle cheesecake -- chocolate with caramel and pecans, chocolate crust. So deliriously delicious and rich. Not a huge wedge, but more than I could eat. Another at my table got a regular cheesecake with chocolate crust and topped with mini chocolate chips.
Had a huge to-go vessel. More than half of both the steak and the garlic mashed potatoes.
The two servers (Laura and the other I couldn't read her name tag) we had were busy all the time. Absolutely impeccable with beverage refills and timely delivery of the courses. Delivering all the time during the presentation without any disruption or obvious intrusion. Cheers and accolades!!Listed in: Salad, Upscale Restaurants

Great outdoor patio, would be the main reason I would go back. Food was good, but didn't blow me away. Great romantic setting in Chesterfield.

Disappointing! Went there for Valentine dinner with high expectations. Steak had to be sent back as it was undercooked. When it came back it was dry and had no flavor. Where was the Andria seasoning? Asparagus also had no flavor. Server could have cared less how we were doing. Will not be back.

We were a party of 8 with a reservation which was honored. Service, food, atmosphere was very good. None of the 8 of us was unhappy. We would go back. The place was fine.

Fantastic patio, terrible food, what a shame. With some decent food this place could be packed. I've heard that the original Andria's has good food but this one does not. We reluctantly order food as an excuse to enjoy one of the best outdoor dining locations in St. Louis.

I came here for dinner and it was a fabulous experience! I started with their house salad, which was light and refreshing then moved on to their filet mignon, which I might add was juicy and a slight red in the middle which I love! The service was superb as well. Definitely will go back again soon!

I'd have to say, after reading some reviews and looking at the pictures of the place Andria's lived up to the hype. It really does give the atmosphere of a quaint little steakhouse. I ordered the Ribye which was slightly dry around the edges but the fabulous "Andria's" jus totally saved the day. I did splurge a bite of my brothers prime rib which almost made me second guess my original order. I'd have to day all in all Andria's was a great place for a good steak and a good glass of wine. Stay tuned as the appetizer menu looked quite enticing as well.

Great food and has a wonderful buffet on Sundays. Friendly staff and attentive service. Known for steaks and prime rib. Located near the Chesterfield Mall.

Very disappointing from a food perspective. I must say we had excellent service from the moment we walked in the door. The hostess was friendly and attentive. The restaurant looks great and our waiter, George was fantastic. However, our steaks were mediocre at best. We had to send the first one back because it was not that hot which is appalling for a steak house. The second steak was a bit hotter but the taste was no where near where you would expect it to be. I will say that our appetizer was delicious; we had the lobster spinach turnovers. Again, service is fantastic but not all all happy with the kitchen.
