I like my small local park, though I rarely get a chance to enjoy it.
It has a small plasticy-corporate children's playground/jungle gym. It also has a decent-sized field for a good game of ultimate frisbee.
On the North edge, I think there are tables and benches, but it's not clear to me if this is part of the park or it is owned by the senior housing complex just North of the park.
Mostly I see people walking their dogs here. This is amusing because there are "No Dogs Allowed" signs all over the perimeter of the park. As long as folks clean up after their dogs I don't think I care. However, there is an "official" dog park elsewhere in Redondo Beach, though far less convenient if you live around Andrews Park.
I envy the folks who have houses overlooking this park - what a nice view!
Andrews Park is a small park with picnic table and a small playground [see photos]. I mostly see woman with small children here and seniors from the nearby senior complex but occasionally I see homeless people and once a couple stripping copper from wire (probably stolen from a nearby new cont ruction).
