Review from Kristeen C.
Sacramento, CA
I've never been to the store, but my mom purchased several things for the house. She bought a black leather couch, armchair, dining table & 4 chairs, a huge bookshelf with doors, a smaller shelf/cabinet unit, and another shelf. They were all very nice and great quality! Andrew and his wife came to our house and set everything up for us. I think the black leather couch was $400...? I don't remember the prices for anything else but they were all pretty cheap and the quality was great for the price. They are also very friendly and helpful, and gave us advice on what to do with our old furniture. My mom also bought another side table but after a few days she decided she didn't want it (they hadn't delivered it yet) and there as no cancellation fee, like some furniture places have. Delivery is also free!

Review from Jessica V.
Rosemead, CA
The location where they are at had been vacant for quite some time now, and I'm very pleased to see a furniture store there where the old pool hall used to be. They have some pretty good bunk beds at prices that took me by surprise (in a good way). I live right around the corner, so they dropped off the bunk bed and mattresses in my garage for free. Highly recommend, especially the local neighborhood folks, to visit the place.
Specialties
We specialize in mattresses and traditional styles of home furnishings. Although our showroom is smaller than those big box superstores, this has translated to lower overhead costs without sacrificing quality of our products. We offer furniture for the bedroom, living room, kitchen, dining room, family room, and home accents.
We are honest hardworking people, and we like to keep things simple. This means no tricky bait-and-switch advertisements. No withdrawing on warranties. No product substitution gimmicks. And no charging high delivery charges and other fees to offset those fake "On Sale" prices.
Because we are entirely family-operated, we love to warm-heartedly offer interpersonal relationships that go beyond business transactions. Be confident that in shopping with us, your new furniture will be backed not only with our official legal obligations as a licensed dealer but also with a commitment to fostering trust and enduring relationships.
History
Established in 1990
We started off as a little stand underneath a tent at a swap meet in the Bay Area in the late 1980s. Then in the 2003, we moved our business to Sacramento to experience what the Capitol city has to offer.
Meet the Manager: Mike C.
My name is Mike, and I'm the son of the business owners Andrew and Eva. When I'm not at school down in Berkeley, I head back up to the Sacramento area and help manage the store. Because I grew up in the furniture retail business (I've been helping with furniture deliveries since kindergarten!), I am well accustomed to efficiently handle all aspects of the business, which ranges anywhere from stockroom duties to customer service. I also manage our website at www.afsacramento.com. I am, however, not on the typical employee pay schedule. I am only paid with food and housing provided by my parents, which translates to nearly free labor for the business. This arrangement is one of the reasons why we have a ridiculously low overhead cost, and this means we can offer prices and services that CANNOT be matched by anybody else.
