In 2007 I was married in downtown San Francisco to my handsome husband. We had a wide range of options for photographers and chose Andrew based on a previous client's recommendation. He not only met our expectations, he exceeded them. His professionalism and instant rapport with family and friends put us at ease during the most important day of our lives. When we received our photos after the event it was clear that Andrew has an incredible eye. He didn't just shoot at random or force us into cheesy, posed shots - he captured amazing moments that we will treasure forever.
This month I contacted him again to ask if he would be willing to take photos of my kids. Just received the photos...and they are nothing short of breathtaking. Again, the moments that were captured speak volumes about the care and attention he puts into every single photo. -

My husband and I were married in San Francisco in 2005. We had Andrew as our photographer. He did a great job capturing the day. He was unobtrusive, but still got all the important shots. Some of the black and whites of our ceremony are my favorites, plus the candids of everyone dancing were great too. Plus, he got all the formal shots as well. He was able to also recommend a DJ and videographer that he worked well with, which made handling all the vendors super easy.
We hit it off so well, I have since then had him take photos for our Christmas cards, and portraits of my kids! -

My spouse and I got married in August 2006 and we used Andrew to take our wedding pictures. I met him originally because we worked together, so I knew that he knew his way around a wedding.
He was very compassionate about our small budget, (we were paying for everything ourselves, and I was in school at the time.) He got all the important shots of the ceremony; nice pre-ceremony group shots; beautiful, intimate "just the two of us" shots; and lots of fun reception shots.
He is a good listener, explains himself very well, and was very easy to work with. -

Andrew did an amazing job for our wedding photos in April, 2008. Our photos are better than we could have ever imagined. He captured the magic and essence of the most important day of our lives. He did so without being intrusive and yet amazingly thorough. He took the requisite wedding photos, of course, but he went above and beyond the call of duty. After our ceremony, we went to 3 locations throughout San Francisco with the entire 15 member bridal party. He literally took hundreds of amazing shots! I remember Andrew lying on his back to get the perfect shot of us looking down into the camera with the beautiful blue sky in the background. Again, he went above and beyond the call of duty. It was The Perfect Shot.
Andrew has the utmost integrity. He was always punctual, always kept his word and was extremely professional. Andrew earned our trust and faith and we had no doubt he would do a fantastic job. It was truly a pleasure to work with him! His love of photography is evidenced in his work including our wedding and engagement photos. He had a calming presence and yet was vibrant throughout our wedding day. He flowed with all of the events and changes smoothly. He guided us and worked with us throughout the entire process.
Once we received the photos, we were absolutely thrilled! They were better than we could have ever imagined! Andrew uploaded all of our eleven-hundred photos onto a CD which was not in our contract. I asked to view some of the black and white photos in color and vise versa, he sent me a disc in 2 days with these changes. They were absolutely beautiful. Again, he went above and beyond the call of duty. We have recommended Andrew to all of our friends and colleagues! We look forward to working with Andrew again soon! Cindy and Steve
Specialties
Since 1999, I've documented over 300 weddings in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York, and Hawai'i. I personally photograph each event myself, I never send out freelancers to shoot on my behalf. My goal is to photograph as unobtrusively as possible-- without interfering or interrupting. I specialize in unposed candid photojournalism to tell the story of your wedding day. When formal portraits are necessary, I prefer poses which are relaxed and natural, not stiff and contrived. My standard wedding package is $999, which consists of 5 hours of wedding day coverage. Overtime beyond 5 hours is $150 per hour. Included in this package is a complete set of all digital images on disc. The disc is not copy-restricted, so you are welcome to order reprints and albums from any lab of your choice. All photography is digital, however I offer old-fashioned film photography upon request at no additional charge.

Established in 1999
The first wedding I photographed professionally was at the Sonoma Mission in May 1999. While the vast majority of my clients get married in San Francisco, I've photographed weddings in Lake Tahoe, Sacramento, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia, Hawaii, Mexico, and almost every Bay Area community from Santa Rosa to Santa Cruz.
