My last teeth cleaning was in 2009. So when I saw an online deal for a dentist I knew I had to buy it. The deal was for a number of different dentists, but luckily I picked Dr. Fong.
The entire experience was great. He first took pictures of all of my teeth and explained what he was going to do and answered all of my questions. Dr. Fong has great "chair-side manner." The cleaning was flawless. He never caught my gum or used too much pressure. After the cleaning, he recommended that I fill two small cavities. He again took pictures so I could actually see the holes in my teeth. He also explained how it was not totally necessary and let me choose whether to do it or not. No pressure, just the right information so that I could make a decision for myself.
I will recommend Dr. Fong to anybody looking for a dentist. -

After a few visits with Dr. Fong, my whole outlook on dentistry and dentists was radically improved.
For 30 years, I feared dental work. I feared Novocain shots, I feared the drilling, I feared the cleaning, I even feared the x-rays... and I now understand it was all because I had a horrible dentist. Everything he did was painful.
Dr. Fong, on the other hand, is very mindful of pain.. how to avoid it when possible, and how to manage the unavoidable. He has special techniques of tricking your mind when administering shots. He believes in early detection and treatment. And he has the latest technologies which minimize the need for Novocain in the first place. In fact, my most recent filling required NO Novocain whatsoever, and it was painless!
Dr. Fong is knowledgeable, gentle, and friendly.
I can honestly say I am relaxed when I'm in Dr. Fong's dentist chair. -

When I first came to see Dr. Fong I was very self-conscious of my smile. As a child I had a large gape between my two front teeth. I had braces for several years which reduced the gap, however by the time I was in college and beyond I was tired of having to wear a retainer to keep my two front teeth together. About three years ago I went to a Dentist in Texas (where I lived at the time) and explained my issue with my front teeth. The dentist put veneers on my two front teeth (a very painful and scary process as they grind down your teeth in order to place the veneers over the teeth). After many, many visits I finally had my two new front teeth - to me they seemed too bright and too large compared to the rest of my teeth, but I decided to deal with it. Three years passed and by this time I had heard of Lumineers - as fate would have it I cracked one of my front veneers and decided to see a Dentist and have a consultation about having Lumineers placed on my teeth.
I could not have been more thrilled with Dr. Fong and his staff, they are extremely friendly, they LISTEN to your concerns and desires and make every visit a pleasant experience. I explained my aesthetic problems with my two front teeth to Dr. Fong and we discussed what would be best for me to get an even, beautiful, and aesthetically pleasing smile. After a few visits my new smile was in place, now I'll admit after my last experience having veneers placed on I didn't expect much and didn't get my hopes up. However, when I saw the finished results I was shocked and thrilled with how great my smile looked! I had been so self-conscious of my smile with the two giant veneers on my front teeth, but Dr. Fong worked with me to make my smile look natural and proportionate! Two days after Dr. Fong put my Lumineers on, I was at a concert with my sister and we took many, many pictures. Looking at the pictures the next day, I was in love with how great my teeth and smile looked, I just couldn't believe how easy the whole process was! I only wish I would have known about Dr. Fong and Lumineers three years ago before I had those hideous veneers placed on my two front teeth! Just started going to Dr. Fong this year after my manager kept getting on my case to visit a dentist. I hadn't been to a dentist for over 10 years (probably closer to 15), not necessarily because I was afraid, but more because I was just plain lazy. Now that I have started going here, I will definitely be going to the dentist regularly!! He is great at doing dental work, and he makes things so easy that I actually fell asleep in the chair while he was taking care of some fillings!! He is very knowledgeable & skillful with his procedures, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dentist!! The rest of the staff is very friendly, every time I've gone in I've been greeted by name. They helped me with my insurance plan to figure out how best to take care of my fillings, so I've gotten the worst ones out of the way and will be waiting until my insurance starts up again to take care of the rest.
I have been very happy with Dr. Fong, he is great at making you feel like a valuable customer...no, scratch that, he is great at making you feel like a valuable friend, because he truly takes care of you! -

I have been seeing Dr. Fong for over a year now and I absolutely love him! He is the best dentist I have ever had. Matter of fact I fell asleep this past week twice while he was giving me a filling, that's how relaxed I was! He is a great dentist. Meet the Business Owner: Dr. Andrew F.
Dr. Andrew B. Fong received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Loyola University of Chicago, School of Dentistry in 1990. He then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency with the United States Air Force. Dr. Fong has served as a dental officer at Sheppard AFB - Texas, Osan Air Base - Republic of Korea and McClellan AFB, California. He has presented lectures on topics such as dental forensic identification, discolored tooth bleaching, custom mouth guards and preventive tooth color fillings. He also organized preventive dentistry programs that reached over 1,200 children at school, church and community events.
Dr. Fong is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Santa Clara County Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry. He keeps abreast of current techniques and materials through continuing education courses and professional publications.
