We went to Anreotti for just a quick bite and were pleasantly surprised. There is a small bar in the very back of the restaurant where you can sit and get a glass of wine and a bite of food if you're not interested in a full dinner.
We got a glass of wine each and the mozzarella alla caprese. This is an easy dish to make, but not entirely fool-proof - and theirs was good. And the bartender was generous in her wine pourings. Also a nice touch - she had us taste the wines we ordered before pouring a full glass, just to make sure we'd like them.
As we sat there the bar filled up with other people, including various staff of Harrah's. I take it as a good sign (and pushed me to the 4 stars) that the staff eats here, because you know they've seen each Harrah's restaurant inside and out. They told us about all of their favorite meals here and to try the lobster escargot (does not have snails, just lobster prepared in the same fashion). I guess we'll do that one next time... -

The wine list is ok. The ambiance is beautiful and looks like a mini Las Vegas restaurant.
The food? Horrible! I'm sorry but there's no real chef. There's just a bunch of normal people throwing overcooked pasta with some quick sauces in the back.
My filet mignon was hard and overcooked even when I requested medium-rare. I got the total opposite (and no one at the table got anything besides medium-rare mind you). The pasta was overcooked. Everything else was so-so.
I'd say the food is Olive Garden status but at double the price. Sure it's really pretty inside and nicely decorated, but the food is no more than average tops. -

my parents took us here, as a special treat.
the food here is amazing.
walking toward the restaurant, there was the unmistakable smell of garlic bread. a very nice start.
the waiter, christopher, was really super. we (meaning mostly me) took a long time to decide on what to order. pier came to our table to open our bottle of wine for us and chatted a bit. he is one funny character.
in the middle of dinner, a live piano player began playing recognizable tunes, italian, classics and even some tv theme songs. after a while, pier sang some live tunes, too really great.
everyone's dinner was delicious and filling but somehow christopher got us each to order dessert which is a rarity for us.
i'd highly recommend this joint for a special night. -

I arrived at the restaurant and was immediately seated, received water and menus in average amount of time. Ordered the bruschetta and garlic cheese bread as appetizers and it was MIND blowing AMAZING! The food here is worth a try and it is good.
BUT the service was horrible! Our original server was incognito the whole time of service and we had to wave down other servers to serve us our food, drinks, etc. Our original server finally came around mid way through our main course and tried to redeem himself and his tip, by sparking up a conversation... needless to say we were not fooled.
We paid for our meal and left NO TIP for him.
I will eat here again but I will request a different server.
