Love thier calzones and pizza crusts, but not a fan of their grilled chicken salad. The large calzones make for two tasty meals, but the meat pizzas can be very greasy. Eating in is kinda neat, as there is a neat mural on the wall.

I'm a huge fan of their calzones and gyros. The calzone bread is fantastic, and they serve a good size for a good price.
I had a garlic and extra-cheese pizza from them one day and I was in heaven.
They serve a "Cobb Salad", but it has no blue cheese and they use turkey bacon instead of real bacon. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't a Cobb.
A friend of mine raves about their "Chester Fried Chicken", which I haven't tried yet. Apparently, it's a pressure-cooked special recipe.
There is sometimes a language barrier on the phone, which is annoying, but probably unavoidable. Delivery time is about average. -

I spend quite a bit of time in the neighborhood across Washington Street from Andrea's for work. However, we don't actually have a bathroom at this "work" of mine, so Andrea's has come in very handy on many occasions. The dudes behind the counter don't seem to care if you walk in, fully suited up against the bone-chilling cold, and use their restrooms without so much as a "by your leave."
Now if this was a normal restaurant review, I would be docking Andrea's pretty severely for routine lack of toilet paper and/or paper towels, and the dependable uncleanliness of the bathroom. But honestly, they let me use the bathroom all the time without buying anything. And it only takes being disappointed on the T.P. front a couple times to remember to bring your Kleenex in with you. Just don't let your coveralls hit the seat--you never know how long it's been since that's been sanitized.
Lest you think I never actually eat there, let me assure you, I do. The service is pretty speedy, but otherwise I have been routinely unimpressed. The pizza was not bad, but neither was it remarkable. The mozzarella sticks, again, fine but not remarkable. For these things, I might have just let it go at three stars, all for the bathroom access, but then I experienced their buffalo chicken fingers.
All hail the buffalo chicken fingers! I bought the small size, and I believe I had five full chickens on my plate. The sauce had a nice kick to it, and the bleu cheese dip was perfect, with big ol' chunks of cheese. Hell, I was so taken with it, I even got a buffalo chicken finger wrap then next time I was in, and I hate wraps.
Whenever my work in the area ends, I don't envision wandering over to Andrea's for lunch, but until that time, I'll continue to enjoy the free bathroom and the buffalo chicken fingers. -

There are five things I know of Andrea's Pizza:
- They have pretty good Caesar salad, with better flavourful dressings than the 'squeeze out of a packet' rubbish at some other places. I used to order these a lot when I was in university nearby.
- They sell lots of fried chicken and potato wedges. I've not tried their chicken but the wedges are just ok. A little overcooked and VERY heavy. The buffalo chicken fingers are good though.
- They are Greek-Americans.
- People there are pretty friendly.
- They have efficient delivery.
Everything else: meh. Better to order takeout/delivery than eat there I think. And better to order the chix caesar salad and/or wrap and/or buffalo wings/fingers over other things they have, for me anyway! -

Since they joined foodler I've ordered about 3 times. Their Pizza is pretty good along with the steak and cheese subs. I didn't like their fries that match. My wife enjoyed the Ceasar and Greek salads. What was really good though was the Pasta with Sausage, some of the best I've had around somerville. They did forget my soda one time but that's forgivable. The delivery each time has been fast and earlier than expected. -

Since 2005, I've gotten their delivery.
Favorites include: hamburger or cheeseburger deluxe which includes nice french fries and the shredded lettuce, sweet onions, sliced tomato, and sliced pickles in a separate area. This keeps the toppings crisp until you are ready to add them to the bun and burger.
Another favorite: chicken fingers which are chicken tenders dipped in fried chicken batter and lightly fried. Absolutely delicious! They give you sweet and sour sauce in packets but the dip is really good for packets.
Another favorite: buffalo chicken fingers. Talk about sPiCy! NOT for the faint of heart. And the blue cheese dressing on the side is thick and rich. Perfect!
Their pizzas and mozzarella sticks are great.
I don't like thier salads. They put tomatoes in their Caesar Salads where they definitely don't belong. I ordered a Greek salad from them today and they put maybe two olives in there and not much feta cheese which I paid extra for. Not pleased.
Andrea's definitely know what they are doing when comes to non-salad items though... -

I LOVE LOVE LOVE their pizza. Incredibly tasty & fast delivery. Their pizza has a crisp crust and a wonderful marinara sauce. Friendly service too. I love their mozarella sticks too, though I agree with the 1st reviewer to stick to their pizza. If you decide to get take-out instead, be sure to stop in at the Tedeschi's next door and pick up some beer to go with your pizza.
Edit 10/31/07- Wow, I really hate to do this, but they have been super sub-par as of late. The pizza is arriving no where near as fresh as it used to be, and now it seems to have tripled in grease. Their customer service has been quite lacking. For instance - we ordered a large 1 topping pizza & 2 liter of soda last week. They said it would be a half hour. Once an hour had gone by I called and asked where it was (we live less than a mile from them so it shouldn't take that long). When the driver finally got there he had forgotten our soda & was acting all inconvienced because he had to go back to get it. The pizza was downright nasty.
I'm so disappointed, we order from them all the time, but will not be again anytime in the near future. -

Yummy chicken caesar wrap! I'll say - great caesar wraps are hard to come by - I was a big fan of biting into it and being satisfied! The mediterranean pizza was great too! Onion rings were good too I am a fan of crispy ones so they pleased me. The mozz sticks were a tad soggy. Good prices! Good coupons in the menu too.

this place should be called 3 star.
Its not that this place has BAD pizza or anything, its just not superb. Its an average pizza joint folks, not like Upper Crust that claims to be so amazing and awesome but just falls short.
The cheese or pepperoni pizza is definitely your best bet. Keep it simple with places like this and you can't go wrong. The delivery has been average length for the area.. 45 mins or so. I will say that if you order any grilled chicken dish you will be getting real chicken and homemade sauces. I can't speak highly enough of that when trying to find lunch cheap and quick. Another plus, is a good salad can be had here. They DON"T use the bottoms of iceberg lettuce for the breadth of the salad, but the GREEN parts! That and their dressings are super tasty with real ingredients, no overtones of cornstarch or corn syrup or good old fashioned preservatives.
I stick to the chicken kabob wrap and its a winner every time! -

Horrible. First experience there, and it was aweful. My roommates and I ordered delivery- a buffalo chicken wrap, a cobb salad, and a chicken caeser wrap. We were overcharged for our order, which took over the quoted 45 minutes to come, and none of us were happy with what we had. My buffalo chicken wrap did not have bleu cheese, as it is listed on the menu, and as a buffalo chicken wrap from anywhere is suppose to have. My roommate's chicken caeser wrap was chicken, with barely an caeser dressing and very little lettuce even. My other roommate had 3 bites of her cobb salad before throwing it in the trash after trying the bacon that she said tasted like it was cooked yesterday and just reheated, and the egg, that was discolored and looked just plain rotten. No good. Not recommended at all.
