If your looking for an awesome steak tip salad well this is the place.(just make sure you tell them how you like them cooked or else they will be on the well done side) They make their own syrian bread and let me tell you you wont find anything better than it.

Parking is not the greatest and the delivery is ok.

I don't know why Andrea's doesn't have 5 stars. It's not gourmet fare people, it's a pizza house catering to university students. It's fast, greasy, fatty, they're open late, and they even open later during Tufts finals- clutch.
I loveee their BCC (buffalo chicken calzone)- literally the best drunk food anyone could ask for. Their souvlaki salad and steak tip salad are great too.. mmmmmm!

Buffalo Chicken Calzone. Tufts food staple. (Espresso's is better for just straight buffalo wings, but Andrea's wins at calzones.)
Don't be a hero, friends. This isn't a gourmet Italian restaurant.

Chewy gyros that were cold on the inside, indicative of microwaving old meat, and pizza with high artificial cheese content. Will go back to other local establishments next time.

How hard is it to make a pizza?!?!  Couldn't pick up the slice without all the toppings falling off.  SOAKED in grease!  Almost whole cloves of garlic tossed onto the pizza.  Just awful.  Would never recommend this pizza.  Wish I could give it 0 stars.

There are at least four names on the doors of this place: "Chester's Fried Chicken", "Apartment for Rent", "Roadies", and "Andrea's House of Pizza." What a riot! As far as I'm concerned, that's at least three stars right there. But the last star is because I've had an extra-cheese and pepperoni calzone here twice and it was soooooooooo good both times. Once I tried to order gyros and after I paid, the owner realized there weren't any, so he was really nice and let me order something else which was more expensive without making me pay the difference. I get the feeling that he goes out of his way to give good customer service, a gesture which I especially appreciate for its uniqueness on this block of Boston Ave. Caution: please take my four stars in the context that I'm assuming you're a student looking for some yummy greasy stuff late at night, probably because you're drunk. If that's not the case, you may want to look elsewhere.

The pizza is delicious and I love how I can order one or two slices of a very specific pizza and get it within 5 minutes.

The delivery service is passable, on the whole, but once I ended up with my order about 2 hours after I called. Pretty inexcusable.

Still, the pizza is good, so I go back to Andrea's with some frequency.

It's really too bad you have to award at least one star.

By the way, I'm still waiting for my order from like, 2006.

Not bad for a Boston slice. This joint offers a classic pizzeria atmosphere, complete with daytime soaps playing on a television in the corner (I came during the week in the early afternoon). Also of note, if you do decide to patronize this establishment at lunchtime on a weekday, there's a special allowing you a free fountain beverage with the purchase of two slices of pizza; I took advantage of this and so should you: the grand total for the whole shebang was under $5. And that's with the addition of some tasty onions and freshly cut, crisp green peppers as toppings. Abe Lincoln, you've met your match, and this time it isn't John Wilkes Booth: it's a pizza place.

Pita pockets are amazing! My office refers to Andrea's as "The Good Bread Place"

I recommend the antipasto salad w/ light italian dressing & a pita pocket on the side. Heaven.

Fried chicken is NOT good! Fairly sure it is out of a box and fried in some stinky kind of frying oil; same story with the fries. Pizza and calzones are OK, but nothing special. Kitchen itself had some sort of weird smell, which seeps onto the food.

Love a lot of the Medford restaurants, but this is not one of them.

Bottom line, the best fried chicken for miles. It's legit. Too bad they shut at 11.

It was late Friday night, we didn't feel like walking much, and out of the menus I had in my room, it seemed that Andrea's had the most choices.

We go in, and while the guy had an awful lot of trouble with my question of how much bottled soda cost, the place was clean and decent-seeming, so we stayed. My sister ordered first -- a vegetable pita pocket-thing.

    "What comes on it?"
    "Whatever you want."
"I mean, what kind of vegetables? Is it cooked?"
"I can put whatever you want on it."

This conversation went on for a while, until she chose some random vegetables for the guy to use. I decided to order the turkey pita-thing, which seemed like a pretty easy-to-make, common menu item.

"What's on it?" I asked, partly because I wanted to know, partly from curiosity of if he'd give me the same answer.
    "Whatever you want."
"Well, there's turkey, right? And what else?"
    "Whatever you want."
    "What do you have?"
    "Tomato, lettuce, onion, cheese..."
"Okay, I guess I'll just have turkey, tomato, lettuce, and cheese, then."

After about half an hour of waiting, even though we were the only people in the place, we get our food. My sister's pita is STUFFED and dripping with a completely random assortment of vegetables, even though he'd only offered me lettuce and tomato. My pita is ice-cold, dry, with a gigantic heap of freezing shredded iceberg lettuce, a pile of turkey, and tomato and cheese. I take a bite and realize that it has no sauce and no taste. I go to the counter.

"Sorry, could I have some sauce for this?"
    "What kind do you want?"
    "What do you have?"
    "What do you want?"
"Okay, do you have honey mustard?"

So the guy gives me a little tub of honey mustard sauce, which I spread on the pita with a plastic fork. The pitas cost about $8 each!
Meanwhile, my sister is trying to keep hers from exploding all over the table, some loud and gory Patrick Swayze movie's playing over my head, and the table next to us is exchanging loud, detailed vomit stories.

The only reasons I gave this place 2 stars instead of one were that the food wasn't poisonous, the place seemed clean, and the guy wasn't overtly rude.

I've eaten here many times, and I like the food, but the last few times (3-4) I've ordered delivery it's been taking an hour plus.  Today it took 1hr 45min to get my 2 sandwiches and fries. So, today will be the last time I'll order from Andreas.

this place is real close to tufts university so youd think it was good for college kids. but the food is super greasy. the pizza grease leaked past the plate on to the table. it was nasty. ordered meatball as a topping and for second slice the anchovy. yes i said anchovy. it was way too salty and they didnt do anything, just throw some on top. no real flavor or anything. pizza and anchovy are supposed to compliment each other, but it just didnt. the meatballs werent that great either. also had the mushroom steak sub. that was very plain and dry. it was literally just mushroom and meat. no sauce or anything. it was the lunch special, so it came with a free drink. but the machine was out of ice and the guy never put any in even though he said he would about five times without us asking. liar! this food gave me a stomach ache. i think explosive diarrhea is the word im looking for. yes! a constipation relieving food i guess.

Pizza was pretty good, but a litle greasy. But it wasn't bad if you need a quick pizza fix. Delivery was fast and it was pretty cheap. Staff was friendly.
