Just purchased a Living Social deal, and attempted to book our stay with them for the weekend of August 17th. When I called, Zack at the front desk informed me that the entire resort is booked for a private party that weekend. Thankfully, someone from the party just cancelled an Exec Room with a king size bed and a jacuzzi, so he asked if I'd like to upgrade to that for an extra amount of $20.00 a night plus tax. I said heck yes! So I got the dates I wanted, and a better room for only about $60 extra. Not too shaby. Very helpful guy.

Only thing is, when he sent me my confirmation, the e-mail didn't state that we were doing the living social deal, and an upgrade. It only stated that we are staying the weekend at the exec room, and states the normal rates of the room without the living social deal. I e-mailed Zack back, we'll see what happens, but I don't think it will be a problem. As long as the room is reserved, its all good!

I'll update this review after my visit there. But so far so good. Can't wait!

P.S.: If you were trying to book a room for that weekend, sorry! We just took the last one =P

    Pros: Well-maintained property
    Cons: Terrible Bed, Bad A/C

Most of the hotel deserves 4 stars. The property is gorgeous ... a 1930s gem right in downtown that is well maintained and full of modern amenities. The landscaping is nice. The pool area is classic Palm Springs and is open 24 hours, provided you don't make noise. The staff is polite. The property is quiet. The rooms are also decorated well and have good lighting. The "fireplace" isnt real, but provides a great ambiance. The room was super clean

That being said, the bed and the A/C are inadequate.

The bed in Room 213 desperately needs replacement. You can definitely tell the mattress is old and of the inter-coil spring variety. The mattress created unbearable pressure points, even when trying to sleep on your back, and even the slightest movement left the bed shaking. Not much sleep was had.

The A/C doesn't live up to its challenge of being in a desert climate. The unit ifself is plenty powerful; however, the staff has set the control so that 70 degrees is the coldest setting. Most of the night, your at about 73 degrees, coldest,  which is annoyingly warm for my taste. If the controller let you set the temperature at 66 or so, all problems in this issue would be solved.

In summary, this is a hotel that deserves 4 stars, but gets 3 because it fails in a hotel's most basic task ... providing a good night's sleep.

    HIDDEN GEM!!!
First let it be known that when I stay at a hotel, I refuse to stay in anything but a 4 or 5 star hotel. Call me bourgeois, ostentatious, prissy - WHATEVER, those are my standards.  So you can imagine my disdain when told I would not be staying at a fabulous resort hotel because they were all booked that weekend, I'd be staying at a Boutique Hotel.  At least it was pet friendly with only a $20 charge for my equally prissy chihuahua.  Immediately I took to yelp, and was surprised to see very good reviews.  The price per stay, was also a huge bonus- that means more money for shopping and the spa!

Upon arrival (we drove past the hotel 3 times before we finally found it) we were pleasantly surprised at the hotel itself, and its location.  It is situated right off the Palm Springs Strip, walking distance to great restaurants, quaint shopping, and activities.  Everything was within walking distance which was a MAJOR plus.  We entered the hotel and were greeted by a very friendly employee at the front desk, Zach.  There is complimentary wine and cheese in the lobby on the weekends which was a very nice touch.  Zach was able to check us in two hours early and showed us to room 211.  The hotel has only 25 rooms which is actually great because it is peaceful and makes you feel as if you are staying in your own private villa as opposed to a hotel.  The rooms are small, but very nice with a very large bathroom.  There was a beautiful chaise at the foot of the bed which was perfect for my chihuahua.  There is an electric fireplace across from the bed and also a refrigerator and microwave.  Two robes were laid out on the bed with a thank you card from the hotel.

There are fire pits on the second floor by some cabanas which are common area and great for having a glass of vino at night.  The pool is heated, and is located in the center giving it a courtyard feel.  The hotel also has various spa specials which I was unable to try but will most certainly try next time.  A continental breakfast is served every morning which includes coffee, tea, toast, eggs and yogurt.

I cannot stress enough how friendly the employees are, especially Zach and the cleaning ladies!  We loved this hotel so much that we booked our next stay  for three nights only TWO weeks later!  I will post a follow up on my experience this weekend!  I wouldn't recommend this hotel to someone with kids (mainly because I want to preserve the calmness and tranquility of this hotel when I'm there LOL) but it is perfect for couples or anyone who wants to spend a quiet weekend getaway.

I chose this spot for our Palm Springs honeymoon because the resort looked beautiful in photos and had great Yelp reviews. In fact the resort is even more gorgeous in person!

We had an amazing experience. The staff was so helpful with everything, including my specific request for an in room spa. Our room was so luxurious and spacious... it had a gorgeous bed, robes waiting for us, a fireplace and of course the hot tub :)

I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable romantic getaway. The spa here is amazing well. Definitely worth the trip!

This hotel is cute and in a great location, in the center of the down town area. Pool area is very nice. We had a 2 bedroom 'suite' overlooking the pool which easily fit 2 adults and 2 kids and was pretty reasonable for Palm Springs ($219 midweek in April) compared too other places we looked at. Main down side was the very uncomfortable creaky old beds, plus the room was very dark. Also, the pool is open 24hrs, and we were awoken at 2:30am buy folk splashing about.
Wifi was free, but very unreliable.

Upon browsing all the hotel options in Palm Springs, i settled on Andreas with the promise of good customer service, central location to downtown Palm Springs, and a quaint old style hotel. And so, some good and some bad we found out after staying one night.

The location is a bit hidden and we did drive past it before realizing where it was. Small hotel with about 25 rooms. Definitely very cute and quaint. The staff is very friendly and gave us great customer service. Bob in particular gave us a lengthy detailed heads up on where to go and where exactly in Palm Springs we were. I ended up paying about $160 after taxes and fees but it was one of the lower priced hotels for the area.

We were led to room 103, ground floor right next to the pool. Walking in was a bit awkward since the bed is right there in front of the door. It's a good thing I'm not a very traditional Chinese person as I would be screaming my head off about bad feng shui. The foot of the bed was pointing straight at the door...not a very good thing. The room itself was decorated very nicely and was so cute and well cozy. No big deal though, the room was nicely laid out (other than the orientation of the bed) using as much of the space as possible. The queen bed was in the center with a padded bench at the foot, desk and night stand areas were fitted into the walls. There was one small chair near the door, the tv was inset into a wardrobe. A fridge and microwave were in another wardrobe. The bathroom was decently large actually compared to the room. Stone tiles and a spacious sink.

Liked how cute and quaint it was with old style features and decorations but then had a bad night sleep on the bed. Bleh, it's not a good hotel if they have crappy beds. The other reviews seem to have been fine though so did we get stuck with the old one? It was creaky, uncomfortable and I could feel the whole bed move and shift if my boy turned. It looked nice and fluffy and the metal headboard looked nice, but then you could hear the metal creaking.

I really liked this hotel, how small it was, the customer service, the quaintness of it all...but then I slept on the bed and that didn't work out too well. They've got a lot going for them, but if the bed is creaky and uncomfortable...ugh. The one other thing that really didn't work out so well was their noisy ac. It wasn't even a constant noise I could get used to, but one that kept turning on and off thus making the room either super cold or warm. Hmm and the towels were scratchy and not soft. Replace that bed for sure! If I ever stay here ever again I'm going to test that bed before I settle in for the night.

I just came back from a New Years vacation with my boyfriend. Overall, this hotel was perfect for our little getaway and I could not have asked for a better stay. It is a small hotel, only about 25 rooms which all encircle a heated pool and small jacuzzi (it could only fit about 4 people max, and that's if you don't mind being close). We were staying a a King Jacuzzi suite, so we had a separate living room area from our bedroom. The bathroom ran the length of the whole suite with a large jacuzzi tub in the middle. We did not use it but it looked nice! Two sinks on separate ends of the bathroom and a large walk in shower. Overall the room was extremely nice.

The main thing lacking in this hotel is the breakfast, which if you don't mind going out every morning then this shouldn't deter you. They have a continental breakfast which includes yogurt, english muffins, bagels, orange juice, coffee, hard-boiled eggs, oatmeal and cereal. Unfortunately the first morning we were there the eggs were not cooked thoroughly and were runny... lost my appetite after breaking into one of those. The second morning they were out of almost everything when we got down there at 9:30 (breakfast is served until 11am on the weekends and 10am during the week). We had to ask for more orange juice, coffee, hard-boiled eggs, as well as plates and bowls.

Aside from the breakfast this place was great, we were greeted with champagne when we checked in and everything was pleasant overall.

The location of this hotel made it perfect, we walked everywhere the entire weekend!

Could someone please give Barbara at the SPA this message:

The customer is always right. Don't be such an ASShole to your employees in FRONT of the customers. When three friends reserve time for manis and pedis, maybe you should tell them beforehand that you only have TWO chairs and ONE lonely stressed out manicurist (who reacts like you are going to beat her) and then maybe you should not threaten to charge them anyway when they find out and want to cancel. Also, you just lost ALOT of business from a huge whopping wedding party that was looking to spend $$$$ at some nice spa in Palm Springs. Along with 20 of each of their friends who heard the horror story. And hopefully a few people who read this review.

    Someone fire Barbara!

The Andreas Hotel is simply wonderful!  The service began even before we arrived.  I needed a dog-sitter (bonus that the hotel is dog-friendly) and an Andreas receptionist named Bob surfed the Internet while I was on the phone from L.A., to help locate a pet-sitter ("I Fetch It" was wonderful!).  When we arrived the next day in Palm Springs, we got to meet Bob and he escorted us to our room (105).  I think we got lucky; it is one of the larger rooms in the hotel.  The plush king bed, jacuzzi tub, fireplace, and dead quiet at night gave me a few delicious evenings of lost rest.  (The entire facility is also very clean and tidy.)  And the hotel is literally one block to the east of the main strip on Palm Canyon Dr.  We just had a lovely time and this is a super nice place.  They even had SOY MILK for morning coffee (I'm vegan!).  Sold.

This place was really clean and nice...  We had a superior King room with jacuzzi tub. had a living social deal that includes roses, champagne and 2 robes.
    friendly service for sure.
Just wasnt sure if we got the room without the cabana because it was a living social deal or not.
If you stay there, I think that it would be a better time for you, if you ask for a room upstairs with your own cabana.. those were cool :))

I liked the friendly staff, who walked us to the room and welcomed us and our dogs. The enclosed innercourt was quiet, with a medium size pool, there were no loud annoying guest, no screaming children, the grounds were clean, 100% pet friendly. The room had a private jacuzzi (which I didn't use), large titled shower, and internet access.

Next time, I would request a room with more sunlight. There are many, but our room was one of the few that tucked away. Some of the others rooms had private patios, even a larger decks with nice lounge chairs, which I would pay extra for next time.

The location was excellent, leading out to the main streets between N. Indian Canyon and Palm Canyon, this was great to have easy access to the all the greatness of Palm Springs.

This was my first visit to Palm Springs, and what a great place to have as our home base!

The Andreas is just off the main drag, close to everything, making it easy to walk everywhere we needed to go.  It has a secluded, quiet feel, though -- we were never disturbed by street noise or other guests, and the trickling fountains and shady hallways added to the oasis feeling.

We had a standard room with a queen bed, which was cozy but had all the basics (I liked the padded bench-thingie at the foot of the bed, and the virtual fireplace) and was very close to the pool.  The room was clean and well appointed, lots of towels (always a plus, and often hard to come by) and the bed was very comfortable.  Roses, champagne and chocolate were a nice touch (it was a girls' weekend rather than a romantic one, but heck, we sucked it all down anyways).

The staff were very helpful when we needed recommendations for places to go and restaurants to try; they ended up steering us towards some places we might otherwise not have seen.

The continental breakfast was fine ... not lavish but perfectly adequate, and I appreciated it being served till eleven.  Better yet, they have some quite decent coffee available 24 hours a day in the lounge (which proved to be a nice place to borrow wi-fi and hang out) ... saved us a fortune at Starbucks during our weekend!

The pool is small -- more for cooling off than swimming laps, that's for sure -- but it does the trick, and they offer plenty of towels, plastic cups and free ice poolside so you can keep your drinks cool.  Speaking of which, the room has a fridge and microwave, and the mini-bar prices are quite reasonable.

We each had a massage and facial at the spa during our stay, which was terrific!  Very relaxing and reasonably priced, and it wasn't difficult to get an appointment time which worked with our schedule.

All in all, a great experience and I definitely hope to be back.

Not only was the hotel super cute and situated in a great location in downtown, the people there were so nice. I stayed in the executive room with king bed, separate jacuzzi and shower. It took a while to get used to having a giant hole (arch over the jacuzzi) between the bed and the bathroom, but I've grown to like the open floor plan.

I especially want to praise Barbara for her hospitality. On the day we checked out, I mentioned that we had missed breakfast. Barbara immediately brought out some muffins and hard boiled eggs for us. She also handed us coupons for the outlets and let us leave our cars in the hotel parking lot for rest of the day. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to take a break from staying at the cookie cutter chains.

I am a tid bit disappointed! Like the fool I am, I booked direct vs. booking on line and ended up paying "top dollar" for my room. Yep, over $200/night. Room was was clean and nice. Hotel grounds very peaceful and nice. Staff is super. However my room did not look anything like what is in the pictures? By the way that fireplace they show is shared. Where is that large large tub? Not in my room.

My room was super small, dark and had a queen bed. The beds are not that comfortable and they have no modern technology like pay for view, room service, bar, etc. Also for spending over $200/night.... I expected a much more quaint continental breakfast. What they serve is basic bagels, english muffins, hard boiled eggs and cold cereal. Yuk..!!! I question the motives of those on this site who are raving about that breakfast. Give me a break!!

Here is the bottom line, this place has potential but should not charge top dollar for the little rooms with the queen beds. Also, if you want to portray yourself as a posh little hideaway...may I suggest that you destroy and abate your current continental breakfast and order some fresh bread, bagels, and high end pastries from a local bakery. A cheap bottle of Champagne for the guests would also be nice. Cozy this place up and and then I will feel ok to pay over $200/night.

This was my first trip to Palm springs with my lover and we're so excited after reviewing this so called resorts web site.. don't be deceived by the photos this place is far from being a spa resort. Friends booked same room a few days earlier then we did and we ended up paying 200.00 more for the same room and was told must have just been the rates quoted by different people. Wtf? And was then told she couldn't do anything about it and the manager was out until Wednesday... No computer room but they sent us accross the street to an internet cafe where they had only one computer that wasn't working! Went to the Hyatt where we were treated like royalty and weren't even guests.. asked rates and almost 100 a night less for walk in ... Spa? We were told that everyone was on call and would need to give an hour and a half notice for a reservation... Don't stay here you will be very disappointed..

My wife and I visited Palm Springs this weekend for a California Mathematics Council conference that my wife was speaking at.  I decided to tag along and make a mini-vacation out of the weekend.  We chose the Andreas because it was pretty inexpensive on Priceline and is located really close to the convention center.  We didn't realize it was a pretty small hotel, around 20 units or so, but it was nice and well maintained.

The rooms have microwaves and refrigerators, fireplaces that can be set just to illuminate or for heat, air conditioners that work well (they max out at 70 degrees), nice bath robes, and relatively comfortable beds (though ours was a queen and the room was kind of cozy).  They have a pool and hot tub, a very minimal continental breakfast (it's not a fully staffed hotel or anything, so I'm not too surprise), and a spa connected to their building.

The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, the bathrooms had good water pressure but only one sink, and the prices were reasonable.  I wasn't a major fan, but for the location right next to the strip and numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance, it was a decent place to stay.  Noon checkout was also a plus.

Summary: Small hotel.  Cozy and quiet.  Decent amenities and prices.  Crappy continental breakfast and somewhat small beds and sinks if getting one of the cheaper rooms.  Great location.  Spa attached if you're interested.  Parking lot for guests and noon checkouts.

Very cute and quaint boutique Spanish-esque hotel right on the main strip of downtown Palm Springs.  Totally recommend for a romantic weekend getaway or girl's weekend out!

Prime location within walking distance to restaurants, bars, and casinos!

Great service with the hostess escorting you personally to your room.  We had a nice balcony overlooking the main street.  Other rooms had romantic cabanas with private curtains which looked so sexy and fab!

Inside our room was a hot tub where the girls enjoyed our relaxing bubble baths.  The pool outside is a bit on the smaller side, but the hotel itself is small so that's ok.

The hotel is connected to a spa for some extra R&R and comes with complimentary breakfast.

The only downside was that I booked a jr. suite and they downgraded me to a king bed room.  When I brought it up, they said since I had not booked the room on their website, the description was off and I had actually only booked the king room.  They said they only offer suites on their own website.

I didn't want to cause a ruckus since it was late and we were ready to get the night started so accepted what they told us, but I'll be sure to call them for room confirmation next time!

Got a great deal through Priceline.  Much better than the 2.5 star category that Priceline puts them in.

The front desk staff were all friendly and gave us a quick tour of the facilities.

It's a small 25-room boutique spa hotel which was fine by me.  A Spanish architecture feel which was a nice change from cookie cutter hotel chains.

We liked the faux fireplace which emitted heat and the large bathroom.

The bed was a little small and the springs were creaky but overall the room was comfortable.  You could hear people walking by outside but it wasn't unbearable.

A great location just hidden away from the downtown area.

My wife and I just got back from a trip to Palm Springs and stayed Friday and Saturday nights at the Andreas Hotel.

We really couldn't be more pleased!  The hotel is centrally located in town, it's got a wonderful pool area, the rooms are quite nice, and the management is super friendly.

It's honestly perfect for the area.  The place is clean, looks pretty much newly re-furbished, and is just so central to everything.  The continental breakfast isn't much to speak of, but it's very convenient to grab a bagel, piece of fruit, cereal, OJ, and a coffee when you first wake.

The only issue we ran into was parking.  Since there are only about 20 rooms, the parking is limitied and some non-guests use the parking area.  However, once you inform the management there are no spots, they make sure you can get a place to park!

We coudn't recommend the Andreas Hotel more if you find yourself in Palm Springs!

This place was a lot of fun to stay at. We got our room on http://Hotel.com for 3 nights at $287 I think which isnt bad. Its a charming little place - not too many rooms which is nice. We had room 211 which is at the top of the stairs. They don't have an elevator so keep that in mind.

The bed was comfy and the room was cozy. We had the deluxe room which means 1 queen size bed. The room had a "fake" fireplace, TV, Microwave and Fridge. We just took out all there items and put all of the stuff we brought into the fridge. They also have a large covered tray of ice that they keep by the pool. This is really convenient because you can take as much as you like. Trust me you will need it!

The breakfast in the morning is decent - nothing big but nothing small.

They are RIGHT next to the firehouse. It wasn't too noisy though.

I recommend coming here for a friends trip or a couples trip for sure.

This is the first time my husband and I have been to PS together. I chose this location mostly because of the stellar reviews. This place completely lives up to it's reputation. It's charming, quiet and the staff is very friendly.

After being shown to our room, we decided to take a dip in the pool. I love the courtyard area! The pool was such a relief from the 100+ degree weather. The pool sits in the center of all the rooms. Our room (#209) was really nice. The bed was comfortable and the shower (although small) was big enough for the two of us!  :P

I love the fact that they tidy up the room so nicely and leave fresh towels everyday. The hotel sits in close waking distance to restaurants and shops.

Now on to the REAL DEAL...the spa is the BUSINESS!!! We booked a reservation for the romance spa package (3 hrs @ $380). We got a whirlpool soak, 60 minute orange spice body scrub and a 30 minute massage, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. Samuel and Nina were fantastic!!!!! This is a really nice spa and we had an unforgettable experience! We will definitely come back to this hotel and spa!

They offer complimentary continental breakfast, but we opted to skip it for some REAL breakfast (you know I like to EAT, right?).

This is a really good choice for couples...especially for $205 for 2 nights! I'm looking forward to coming back here...

The bf surprised me with a trip to Palm Springs for my birthday and chose the Andreas Hotel & Spa as our abode for the weekend.  It's a boutique hotel off that has a back entrance leading off to Palm Canyon Road, and has great staff and amenities (Jacuzzi Hot Tub in your room, score!).

I was very pleased with the overall stay!  We had a room in the back of the hotel down a hallway, so it was quiet and very relaxing.  Another perk was even though quiet time begins at 10pm, the pool is available for use 24 hours a day.  The hotel serves a "continental" breakfast that is complimentary for guests, and includes your choice of  regular or decaf coffee, bagels, English muffins, hard-boiled eggs, cereals and yogurts - not the greatest breakfast spread but hey, why complain? Free is free.

Overall, I highly recommend staying at the Andreas.  The rooms are comfortable, with hot tubs and "fireplaces" that bring a warmth and coziness to the place, and it is in a central location and looks fairly new and nicely renovated.  Good for the wallet too if you can't necessarily afford a stay at a ritzy Palm Springs resort.

Pros: Location is convenient. It is in the heart of down town Palm Springs which is good because you don't have to drive to find places to eat or do some shopping. Parking is free. Staff is friendly and accomodating. Spa treatment is good and reasonable in cost. They have packages for the spa treatments so ask for that when you go. Heated pool and jacuzzi that is out side and is open late for those who enjoy night swimming. There are fire places located outside on terrace area where you can sit and relax on cold evenings. Items in refrigerator is cheap $1 soda and water. Provides free coffee, tea and also basic breakfast for guests.

Cons: No room service. Technology is outdated - tv has selected channels. Not enough toiletries i.e. toothbrush or toothpaste, soap, shampoo.

Cozy hotel that is meant for an intimate weekend get away with your significant other.

    Will I go back? Probably.

Adorable hotel in downtown Palm Springs!  This place is so conveniently located in the heart of Palm Springs that we never had to drive anywhere - restaurants, coffeeshops, and cute lil' tourist shops were all within a mile away.

I really owe it to my friends Bev and Daniel T. for booking and finding this lil' charm first.  I looked on the website and it included all the amenities - mini fridge, pool/spa, gym, free wifi, free continental breakfast, amongst other things.  The pictures looked fabulous and the prices affordable so it was an easy decision to book this place.

The service here is impeccable.  The front desk lady immediately got off the phone when she saw us enter and within minutes we got our keys and were shown to our room.  The woman went out of her way to show us where everything was here.  She saw the TV and couldn't find the remote so she returned within 2 minutes with a remote for us to use, and this was without us requesting anything!

My only complaint would be that the pool area is kind of small.  Also, our room was located on the perimeter of the pool so it was hard to nap in the afternoons with the people out there playing poolside.  It's really quiet at night though.

Since all the clothing optional places were sold out... lol kidding.. This place is very comfortable and quiet... Its very secluded and you may miss it if you don't pay attention but its all you could need.  Comfortable beds, nice and clean bathrooms with good water pressure, a bit tiny room tho but if you are there just one or two nights, its just fine.
Front desk was very nice and attentive.
im trying to think of a word that could describe this place... maybe romantic ? ....hmmm.. yeah, it was a very comfortable bed..

Let me tell you why I give it 3 stars vs. Angela C's 4 stars. We had 2 room changes which caused us to stay in 3 different rooms in one weekend.

    Room 211
The morning after our first night, I saw these HUGE termite-looking bugs with wings on the wall. 2 of them. Then I spotted one on the tissues. And then, my husband jumped up from the bed because one was right by his face on the pillow. I was grossed out, but we killed them and thought it was over.

Second morning I woke up, I took a big swig of my bottled water because the AC made my throat really dry. I felt some type of large particle in my mouth and spat all the water onto the floor. It was one of those bugs. I looked into the bottle, and there was another one in there. Gross. All this because I had left the water bottle open over night. Probably one of the grossest things ever to happen to me.

So I put a cap over the bottle to keep the bug in there to show the lady at the front desk. She was incredibly apologetic and made immediate arrangements for us to stay in room 212.

    Room 212
VERY awkward setup. The AC vent blows straight on to the bed so it's cold with the AC on or hot when it's not on. You do not get wifi in this particular room. My husband and I decided that even though the AC was blowing straight at us, it was okay. HOWEVER, the AC unit needed to be fixed because something was dripping at an irregular beat, which caused us to have a difficult time sleeping. We actually couldn't fall asleep at all, which really upset us.

We contacted the front desk at 12:00 a.m. and they had no problem changing us to room 103.

    Room 103
HALLELUJEH!!! A great room! This is had everything the other rooms had including an iron, ironing board, microwave, wifi, hair dryer, etc. It's a shame that we didn't get assigned this room in the first place, or I would have given this 4 stars.

Asside from the two things that made me lower my rating, the customer service is excellent. The staff is wonderfully friendly and accomodating. The continental breakfast was quite satisfying (milk, SOY milk, oatmeal, fruit, juices, teas, coffee, bagels, eggs, cereal). The internet is free. Towels and shower items are changed daily. There is also ice and poolside towels.

    I fairly good experience.

Wow.   This place was pretty nice!  I found it on Priceline, I usually go for 3 or 4 star hotels, but when I read how good the reviews were, I figured I would save a few bucks and go to Andreas.  I'm glad I did.

The hotel was really clean and beautiful.  When I opened the door to my room, I actually was surprised at how nice it was!  Iron wrought bed with a purple velvet seat at the end, fireplace, nice sized closet, fridge and mini bar, and really nice tiled and glass shower!  I've stayed in much more expensive hotels that were not nearly as nice.

The staff was super friendly and really attentive.  I was a little discombobulated because my plans altered when I arrived in Palm Springs, so I didn't book any treatments until late at night for early in the morning, but they were really accommodating,

The pool and hot tub is open all night as long as you are quiet which is a bonus because I love being in the hot tub at night, but most places close down the pool area.

My brother came to spent the night with me there and he was really impressed too and thought I had paid a lot for the room.  I think they were supposed to charge an extra person fee, but they didn't.

They also have a free continental breakfast, which is unimpressive like most continental breakfasts, but hey it's free.

We booked massages and I got a facial.  I was less than impressed with these services.

I told the masseuse that I had a knot in my back on the right and also a knot in my arm--and I thought the point of asking me where I needed more attention was so that she would work on these areas more--but she didn't.  Though I feel some stuff got worked out, its pretty much the same.  Then she concluded each section of the massage by running her hands really lightly over that section of my body--so that was weird.

Facial, again, I just wasn't that impressed.  Again I was kinda cold, the blankets weren't thick enough or the room was too cold.  I'm used to more happening in a facial, like steam always misting on my face, or towels being wrapped around my face each time a product is being removed from my face.  I usually also get neck, hand and hand massages, etc.  They use Epicuren products which are all really good, I think I'll stick to Petite Spa in Santa Monica the next time I want a facial.

So, I would definitely stay at the hotel again, but I would pass on the spa stuff.

I was in PS for a conference at the convention center and decided to stay at the Springs.  It was a great location, walking distance (2-3 blocks) to just about everything I needed - convention center, casino, bar, restaurant, starbucks, etc..

Room was great with a four post bed, gas fireplace, nice furniture, a TV that tucked away, and a huge bathroom.  Very clean and overall great service.  They actually took the time to show me my room!

It is on the main drag, so be warned if you are a light sleeper, but I enjoyed watching the people from our 2nd floor balcony that opened up to the main street and the noise didn't bother me at all.

The pool at hot tub are one the smaller side, but are beautiful and fun to swim in.  There are also patios with fireplaces that seem inviting, but it was far too hot during my stay to light them up.

I got a deal from one of the palm springs websites - check it out so you don't have to pay full price!

For my Best Friends Bachelorette Party.... we all decided to go to Palm Springs. I was in charge of the Hotel Arrangements and did a lot of research. I came across The Andreas Hotel and Spa through a Palm Springs website and I saw that it was rated #2. So I called and talked with Geoffrey at the front desk and he got some women..... who happened to be walking through the lobby.... to tell me how great the hotel was. I thought that was pretty cool..... all the pictures on the website seemed really nice, so I booked it. We loved our 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite, with a fireplace in each room, not that we used it??? Huge jacuzzi tubs in each of the bathrooms along with spacious stand in showers.

The Hotel is very small, cute and quaint. It only has 25 rooms. The pool is located right in the center of everything and there were not many chairs around the pool for us to lay on. That was the only drawback seeing as us 5 girls only wanted to lay out during the day. But if that is the only thing I have to complain about....well then that is pretty good. The continental breakfast was awesome every morning and I loved that it was available till 11am... since all of us girls slept in after wild nights both Friday and Saturday. Geoffrey was just as nice in person as he was on the phone and recommended a really nice place for dinner Saturday night. For my review on Matchbox.... stay tuned!! : )

The service was top notch from Bob at the front desk to the spa.  The decor was adorable, the breakfast an unexpected treat, and the pool area was quiet and intimate.  Our only complaint was that our room was above fox bar that could get a little noisy sometimes.  Overall, a nice retreat in palm springs.

If I had to describe Andreas Hotel with only one word, it'd be "charming."  If you're looking for a boutique hotel for a romantic weekend getaway, Andreas Hotel is a perfect choice.  It's located in downtown Palm Springs which is perfect - you can walk everywhere - restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques and the casino nearby.

We stayed in a nice and cozy junior suite which had a separate bedroom area and living area.  The fireplace in the bedroom added a nice romantic touch to the suite.  The bathroom was spacious with a separate shower and large soaking tub.  There was a small balcony in the living area, which faced the main street.  There was also a small fridge in the room too.  The layout of the room was a bit odd, but really nice nevertheless.

Amenities offered at the hotel include a small pool and jacuzzi, free wi-fi in the lounge area, and complimentary continental breakfast every morning.

The hotel also has a full-service spa, which I really enjoyed.  The couples room includes a soaking tub and private shower which was nice.

One last big plus - Andreas Hotel is dog friendly so you don't have to leave your four-legged babies at home. Woohoo!

For the $ this place was perfect! You can't beat the location. Right on the main strip in downtown Palm Springs. Walk out the side door and you are steps to Palm Canyon Dr. where all the restaurants and shops are located.

The room was BIG, and clean and nicely decorated. All the rooms have fireplaces and most have a very deep jacuzzi tub. The rooms on the 2nd floor have either patios overlooking the pool or balconies overlooking Palm Canyon Dr. The beds were comfy, the sheets were a little rough, however, I ended up with a little rug burn on my elbow from turning over at some point.

The hotel itself is small, only 25 rooms. They offer free parking (a big plus) and free breakfast in the morning and coffee, tea, and hot coco all day and night. There is a pool and jacuzzi in the middle of the hotel, we did not have a chance to use it, but it looked nice.

Overall this place is great, and I would totally stay there again!

If you blink, you'll miss this place.   Totally awesome, is what I would describe the Andreas.  Since my fiancee was going to a conference at the convention center, we randomly picked this place since all of the big name, nearby hotels were booked.  And this place was $118/night Sun-Tues.

Meiko, the previous reviewer, hit everything on the head.  Small place - 25 rooms total - free parking, smoke free, nice pool, nice rooms, very nice bathrooms.  Decent bed.   Yeah, I can see us staying here again next time we do a real vacation to Palm Springs.   Especially because, sadly, we didn't get a chance to use the jacuzzi in the room.

I treated myself to a massage, since the Andreas is also tied into a spa (entrance is on Andreas Road)... it was a very nice experience for only 80 bucks (special) one hour Swedish massage.  Oh, and they have good coffee here!  YAY.  Not that crap coffee.

FYI... the hotel used to be called The Springs, in case you were wondering.

This was the cutest hotel ever!  It is hidden from the street, you can't really see much but when you walk in the hotel is mediterranean style and has a pool and hot tub in the middle and all the rooms surround it. The bathrooms are nice, there is a fireplace that you can turn the heat on or off, and they are pet friendly!  There is a complimentary bfast in the morning, the usual yogurt, juice, eggs, etc.
Definitely a wonderful hotel for a reasonable price!

ok, so why 1 star you might wonder amongst all the fabulous reviews online???

I had made a reservation to stay here about 3 weeks ago and a few days later changed my mind and ended up booking another place in a completely different city.

I obviously called The Spring and cancelled my reservation...

    Now for the strange part:

I received a voicemail this evening while relaxing in this completely different city and was informed that I was a "no show" for my reservation at The Spring.  Shocked to hear this, I called to speak to someone in reservations thinking this would be an easy item to fix -  rather the "customer service" representative was just a tad above rude... In short, clearly they failed to cancel my reservation in the computer and Im now being charged for their clerical mistake. I asked for the manager to please call me in the morning and I'll be sure to update this review when I get off the phone...

    UPDATE!!!!

The manager called me promptly this morning and after a nice apology had the clerical error rectified.

Thanks David! Get the mean girl on the phone some costumer service training or a shift during the day and you'll be in business.
