I've seen Andre's work at community events and I knew that if I ever got married -- I'd want him there. And when I got engaged last Christmas, I went to talk to Andre ASAP.
The thing that I wanted with my photographer was the ability to capture the energy and vibrance of the event, without making such a big deal out of it. We wanted someone who would keep us in the moment, keep our guests in the moment, and take shots that are meaningful and captures the energy. Andre is able to do that because he's not in your face -- he knows, telepathically it feels, when he's needed and when to fade out. Some photographers are so arrogant and they work SO hard to get a perfect shot. We wanted something effortless and relaxed while getting great shots. Andre delivers.
A plus is that Andre is like having a wedding coordinator with you all day. He knows about the wedding schedules and venue requirements -- sometimes I found myself asking him about his experience and what he's seen. He would feed me water and food here and there when he thought I needed it. I was so well taken care of!
He got all the shots that I wanted with my family. And while our schedule didn't allow for much posed photography time (we had a PACKED schedule) I was comforted knowing that Andre knew the people that were important to me and would capture the moments for me to share later.

Charismatic. Dependable. Trust worthy. Punctual. Prepared. These are just some of the qualities why I believe Andre Nguyen would make an amazing wedding photographer for you.
Andre has a wonderful personality that strikes a great balance of being both professional and easy going. This quality is especially valuable in a wedding photographer. Once you meet him, it'll feel like you've known him forever. Andre is such an artistic and talented photographer, and this is reflected in his photography. He's especially skilled at capturing the best moments during important events. Moreover, Andre is always willing to work with you to ensure that your photos are everything you want and more. I continue to be impressed by his excellent wedding and event photography. -

Choosing Andre as my wedding photographer was one of the best decisions I made. He was down-to-Earth, and easy to work with, and made everyone feel comfortable, but wasn't at all intrusive. When I looked at my pictures after the wedding, I found myself saying "when did he take that? I didn't even see him there..." about multiple photos.
He got pictures of everything I wanted, as well as of several things that we didn't plan for, and some that I didn't even know had happened until I looked at the pictures later. It all went by so fast, but somehow, he managed to get all the key moments. More than the individual pictures though, Andre really managed to capture the feeling of the day as a whole. I feel like he really managed to show my wedding, as it was, in the best possible light.
In addition to his skill as a photographer, Andre is just so nice and helpful, he truly cared about making my photos, and my wedding as a whole, exactly the way I wanted. The first time we met with him, he didn't hesitate to give us pointers and advice, and at the wedding itself, he was easy to work with and accommodating of last-minute changes.
Since I received my photos back, I have gotten nothing but compliments about them. Multiple people have asked me for my photographer's information, and everyone has told me how amazing the pictures look. Every single one of my six bridesmaids loves them (and if you have ever taken pictures of seven women together, you know it's nearly impossible to get a photo that pleases them all).
Lastly, Andre's prices are better than just about any wedding photographer I found. He really wanted to make sure that we could afford to have the wedding we wanted, and he also provided other ways to save money. He didn't try to force us to order prints from him right away, nor did he limit access like some photographers do. I was able to get digital copies of the pictures now, and can come back later (when we have recovered some of the money from our wedding expenses), to have him put together an album.
For my wedding, I really wanted to be able to relax and not to have to stress about every little thing. With Andre, I was able to just enjoy the day, and to revisit it again and again later. I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. -

I've been to some of the hundreds of events that Andre has been the photographer for and I'm absolutely happy with his photos. Andre's easy to get along with, and is more than willing to work with you to understand what type of photos you want. His creativity with photographs have always been an amazement to me.
Andre surpassed any expectations that I've had for previous events, and I really appreciate that he would go to new heights to get the perfect shot to capture the moments. Andre is wonderful and definitely not shy with taking photos of strangers!
I'd gladly recommend Andre for all your event needs, even if it means flying him to the destination! -

Ok, this guy is pretty legit.
He is very affordable compared to the other professional wedding services out there, probably at least 25% cheaper. He is very dedicated, juggling both his wedding job AND school at the same time. And he's a pretty nice chap. He enjoys all his customers and works with them to be as sensitive to their needs as possible (ie. cultural weddings, DOs and DON'Ts/taboos pertaining to their religion/way of life, etc.)
He may not have as many years under his belt as the other guys, but it certainly doesn't show! Just take a look at his work..the photos available here and on his website...it certainly speaks for itself.
(Just keep him away from your bridesmaids!!! j/k, haha) -

Let me first start off by saying, Andre is awesome! Despite being passionate about photography (and it really does show through his work), he's a really down to earth guy with a friendly smile and super easy going personally!
On a lighter note, I have recommended Andre to a number of my friends and they ALL loved his work! What they enjoyed most was his contemporary approach to photography -- both photojournalistic & artsy-fartsy -- while making everything feel seamless and natural. What a lot of guest loved about him was his courtesy to allow them to shoot beside him; whereas, most wedding photographers are aggressive and often times disrespect photographers who are family and friends.
Overall, Andre is the GO-TO-GUY for wedding photography! Or just photography in general! His work speaks for itself. -

For my Wedding, I really wanted a day I could remember, because everyone always says "it goes by so fast." Well, in this case, everyone is right! So it's best to have some documentation of what happened.
I looked around for months before the event, and just couldn't find a photographer that really made me feel as though they were worth hiring. Then I came across Andre Nguyen. His work was really good and after meeting with him I felt like my Wedding pictures would be in good hands.
I really can't say enough good things about this photographer. He was very professional, came with backup equipment and had a backup photographer in case he got sick, showed up on time, helped things run smoothly, communicated to my wedding party what he needed and interacted with everyone in a very friendly manner.
He's willing to work with you regarding developing a day to remember. His team was fantastic! I continue to recommend him to all my friends for any event they need a terrific photographer.
A great experience deserves the 5 stars he earned! -

When you are at an event or throwing an event, you want to experience it and not have to be wondering where your camera man is or whether he is on the look out for the best opportunities. Andre is very dependable and takes advantage of the moments that allow for the best pictures to help remember your events. At our wedding, he was more wonderful. Catering to 200+ guests is not easy but it's nice to know that the photographer is one less thing to worry about. He's great with children as well- the kids were pretty open to working with him!
He's very committed to his work and knows how to work with a sense of urgency with ease! Go with Andre- You won't regret it! -

If you're looking for a photographer who will give you what you want and work with you without hesitation, then you need Andre Nguyen!
He's a professional and he loves what he does. He wants what you want and he'll talk to you to make sure that on your special day, your memories will be captured through his eyes they way you want to or even better!
He's not one to think of this as just another job but more of a special event for his client.
You can count on him to get your pictures right and in a timely manner! His prices are excellent!
He's a great person to talk to and you'll feel completely comfortable with him! -

Andre is one of those up-and-coming photographers that everyone needs to nab! He views each of photo subjects uniquely and makes sure that your wedding/event/personality completely describes you and nobody else. His work is also beautiful but completely down to earth. He is in complete realization that he is photographing precious memories and takes care to produce only his best.
In addition to the quality of his work, his professionalism and personality make him an even bigger gem of a photographer. You'll never feel like he's "in the way" and he's really easy to get along with. I wouldn't want anyone else in charge of capturing the most important moments of my life! -

This review is for his professionism only. I did not use them unfortuantley.
I check out his worked on his website and loved it. On his website I seen that he was already booked I decided to email him anyways just in case. He replied immediately and apologized that he was booked. But he went futher by giving me recommendations. He definately went above and beyond. In comparision I then contacted Lawrence Ha who also has good work but he never even replied to my email or returned any of my phone calls.

I met Andre through a friend of mine. He is very friendly and at the same time very creative with his work. Andre has shot for me several times in numerous locations and overall I am very satisfied with his work. I would greatly recommend him to everyone!

We just got the official pics..at least the web link and I'm amazed. The pictures look great..and he did some great editing. Not cheesy or nothing. I really like the way he captured our reception and the dancing. You get the feeling like you're still there drunk..dancing the night away. Andre's got some real talent and I'm sure his business is only going to grow.

My wife and I got a steal when we hired Andre to do our wedding. We'd heard horror stories of friends who were ripped off, never got their photos, had to chase people down to get their photos, had no communication with their photographer, etc.
Andre was in a word fantastic. He was on the ball in communicating with us. Clear in his expectations and what he offers, continual in his emails and phone calls up to and during the big day.
We have photos that we are incredibly happy to have. Honestly, we have no complaints and only great things to say about Andre and the service he provided us. Plus, he's a good guy. I would recommend him without reservation or qualification.

I've known Andre for quite awhile...and every time I'd see him he always had a camera on him. He was the one person that we all looked to when we wanted our memories captured on photograph, his updated weekly xanga filled with pictures and you can tell he took time to post all of them with small captions on some photos.Thats why it wasn't a surprise to me when I found out he has become a Photographer. Not only that Andre is one of the most funny and down to earth people, and I'm not saying that just because he's my friend I would definitely recommend him to anybody looking for a photographer..Keep up with the good work Andre!

Andre is an amazing person and an amazing photographer. I've known him through out college and at every event, function, social gathering, he is always taking pictures and great pictures at that. Besides being a great photographer, he is also down to earth, honest, and funny. Qualities that help create a unique perspective that shows in his work. If I was going to get married I would hire him in a heart beat, hands down.

Andre was the photographer for my wedding. He is absolutely FANTASTIC!! The photographs were very artistic and people were caught off guard, so they were very natural photos which I LOVED. We had some more formal pictures taken of our familes too which were also fab. We had our photos delivered about 6 weeks after our wedding - a really quick turn a round. Also, Andre provided EVERY photo that he took!! Not many photographers will do that.
Andre is so easy going which suited us perfectly - we told him what ideas we had and he ran with it and also used his own creativeness. Seriously, if you want a photog, you will not regret hiring Andre.

professional, down-to-earth, passionate, enthusiastic, easy going are some of the few things that automatically come to mind when i think of andre nguyen.
andre exudes a certain air of professionalism that is comforting to the client. his work ethics and mannerism sets you at ease and lets you know that you truly are getting what you pay for and so much more. his easy going nature allows others to capture the many irreplaceable moments of your special day along with you instead of being overly aggressive and rude like linda p mentioned. he doesn't mind if your friends and family want to join in on taking pictures as well and will never disrespect your guests. furthermore, his dedication and somewhat perfectionist personality is sure to guarantee you top notch quality photos for any event! he is extremely versatile and while is only advertising his skills in wedding photography here, he is also great in capturing major events like rallies, campaigns, concerts, club events, and so much more.
andre nguyen is the way to go. i have never ever been dissatisfied with his services and will gladly hire him again and again for the rest of my life.

I've known this guy since I was in high school and he's been into photography since I've met him. He used to have a Xanga webpage with tons of pictures on them and I would just be in awe. He's got a lot of talent, just look at the amazing shots he has! The reviews say it all, if you need a photographer that will do a great job and for a good price, hit up Andre. If I ever need a photographer, I know who to call..ghostbusters! I mean, Andre.

Both my fiancee and I left messages (email and voice) with Andre hoping to book him for our wedding. He never responded.
Even if he were booked for that day/time, we deserved a response informing us of any scheduling conflict . Very poor customer service. -

I'm writing a review for Andre Nguyen Photography because I feel like by sharing my experiences, I may help others who are considering a photographer for their special day. As a bride, I wanted someone professional and who had sincere interests in making my special day memorable. When I first met Andre, I remembered he made an interesting point. He mentioned how he only offers one package and it's for the whole day of photography and not multiple packages by hour like other photographers. He reasoned that you wouldn't want a photographer who charged by the hour and at the end of their shift be like, "Oh well my shift is up, I'm leaving, even though you didn't throw the bouquet yet." You wouldn't want that to happen to you now would you? To have some lazy photographer bail out on you when more special memories are being made. Andre devotes his time for your one special day, the entire day with however many pictures it may take. I love how his pictures don't just turn like ordinary boring pictures, but have an artistic twist to them. He really is a talented photographer. As a fellow bride, I would highly recommend Andre Nguyen Photography to other future brides!
