Not up to NYC standards, but when you're craving pizza in El Segundo, this is your place. Crust thickness is just right (not too thick or thin) and tastes good.
Seems family owned/operated. Staff is friendly. -

Don't bother going here unless you have a coupon. I swear it's gotten worse every time I've been here. The cheese on the pizza isn't that great, the sauce is pretty thin and there's barely any on the pizza. I ask for a meat lovers with mushrooms on half, I even see it on the ticket. I open my box and no mushrooms. This pizza is barely worth the ten dollar off coupon. Full price is a ridiculous ripoff. As everyone else knows the service here is horrible.
Absolute fail. -

I've only done take out here and it's fine. Nothing stellar but satisfies my lunch cravings. We often split pizza and a salad at the office. Delivery is pretty fast

I just love Andiamo Pizza. The yummy, yeasty crust is hand-tossed in front of you, topped by hand with home-made sauce and your choice of ingredients, and baked to perfection.
We shared a crisp Cesar salad (plenty big enough for two) and a thin-crust pizza with kalamata olives and artichoke hearts. It was covered with just the right amount of cheese and sauce.
There's not much ambiance here--it's no place for a candlelight dinner. Andiamo is located in cute-as-can-be old-town El Segundo. The city is full of surprisingly good restaurants, and Andiamo is another one of the quality places to eat in the neighborhood.
It was one of the best pizzas I've ever had, because, hey, I'm from California and don't know good pizza like, say, a New Yorker. I highly recommend Andiamo Pizza. It's fast, fresh and delicious, and you won't be disappointed! -

El Segundo has pretty limited pizza options so the 4 stars is relative...it's pretty damn good stuff provided you are squarely in the 90245. Anywhere else, it's closer to 3 stars.
Had a medium sausage pizza delivered and was a satisfied customer. My pie was delivered in about 30 minutes and was only about 12 bucks...off to a good start.
The pizza was perfectly cooked with the perfect amount of sausage and an excellent cheese-to-sauce ratio. The crust wasn't too thin nor too thick and had decent flavor. All in all, pretty good!
So, what was wrong with the pizza? The quality of the ingredients is reflected in the price of the pizza . The crust was a little dry, the sauce was pedestrian, the cheese could be a better blend and the sausage didn't seem to wear it's Italian heritage as proudly as other sausages.
This is a great utility pizza-it scratches the pizza itch effectively. But if you are looking for something delicious that you would brag to other pizza-philes about you'll need to get the hell out of El Segundo. -

Always looking to patronize local businesses, I walked into Andiamo's Pizzeria after running an errand at the nearby post office. I liked the austere setting, and the fact that what appeared to be the owner's young (5-ish) daughter was at the shop; nice family vibe. I ordered an Italian sub to go. Apparently there's a new tradition in sandwich making that replaces quality bread with beige bricks. I do not like this new approach, preferring to stick to more traditional accoutrement.
However, the meat and produce inside the sandwich made for a delicious salad, so the lunch was not all lost.
Might give the place a try again, but the glut of bad Yelp reviews is not encouraging. -

Damn, I kind of hate to say this, but I wasn't surprised at the two and a half star rating. I have lived in the South Bay for a long time, but this is my first time living IN El Segundo, so I have tried to go to all of the local establishments as much as possible to see what's good and what's not.
Stuft Crust Pizza was the first pizza place that I went to in the area, so I can't help but use them as a comparison. I got a coupon off of some South Bay savings booklet, so my girlfriend and I ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza to go. Hmmmmm, the inside looks really nice and homely. I wouldn't mind giving this place another try to actually order an entree and eat there. As far as their pizza, it was a little flat and greasy. I want to remain open minded here because I know some people like their pizzas like that, but not I.
I will still go back, but not for their pizza. -

Wasn't really in the mood for pizza, but co-workers wanted to go there and use a $10 off $20 coupon. Alright, let's do it then.
This place has an open kitchen with a small dine in area, and a separate second dining room area. Since there weren't that many people in here, we were able to get a table in the small dining area in the kitchen area.
While they do offer 2 slices of pizza and a soda for $5, we opted for their 18" large 4 toppings pizza for $18.99. Yeah, $18.99 for a large pizza. And we also ordered the $6.99 pastrami sandwich.
The pastrami sandwich was pretty tasty but could have had more pastrami in it.
The pizza was a bit on the oily side. However, this may be because we had 4 kind of meats for our toppings. Yeah, we are meat lovers.
I've always said that it's hard to mess up pizza, and this is no exception. Overall, 3.5 stars. Would have rated them more if they were a little more generous on the pastrami and if their prices were a bit lower. -

A let down. :-(
If you're going to label yourself a 'pizza place', you gotta make sure you make a good pie. I don't think this place does, sorry to say. We won't be back.
Too many better options nearby. -

What do you get for $7.99 2 slice's and a soda? Does it come with a salad? a massage? 1 hour of bookkeeping?
decent pizza, but outragiously priced when you can buy a whole frozen one for the same price at the freezer along the wall. -

El Segundo, CA
So after a latish lunch today and Concert in the Park snacking we were in for a late night dinner. This was one of the few places in El Segundo that is open past 8pm. We arrived about 8:30 and ordered a pizza. The person who took our order was not happy we were there. Along with our pizza we ordered two cokes to dine in. He looked back at the machine, hesitated and said they were out of fountain drinks and gave us two cans. We were told if we wanted more coke we would need to pay extra. While our pizza was being made a couple got refills from the fountain and another couple got two new cokes with their order from the fountain. We were definitely lied to too. We then decided to take it to go.
The pizza wasn't bad. We got the Across the Board. Crust was a little soft due to a rushed cooking, the cheese was good, light on the pizza sauce.
This place would have 3.5 stars if the service was better, as should be in a pizza place. Probably won't be back again with Vinny's across the street.
I hope the owner/manager reads these to better train their staff on customer service, especially since there are other bad reviews about the service and many choices for pizza in El Segundo. -

My co-worker actually recommended this place for our end of the month company lunch and we loved it. I personally had the lasagna which I really really like! The sauce came out perfect! Not too tangy like other places. My other co-wokers order the sandwiches & pastas, which are also so good. So everyone in my company are fans now and will be ordering from them again.

This is a pizza restaurant on Main Street in El Segundo that you need to go up a ramp for a loading dock to get to. You can't see in from the street because it is up quite high. They sell both pizzas and pizza by the slice. While I did not order a salad, I observed a salad being served to another customer that was surprisingly carefully put together and was a generous portion.
Pizza review:
They served what they described as a New York style pizza but while the crust was on the thin side, it was much too thick for my taste and would be among the thicker ones you might find in NYC. Unfortunately the dough was not even and neither were the toppings. The crust got thicker as it neared the edge. At the outer edge of the pizza there was almost no cheese and minimal sauce on top of thick crust. Not very tasty. A couple of bites of this pizza were fairly good but most of it was not. The cheese and sauce were also fair in quality. This place is better than Pizza Hut but Vinny's across the street (where you can't get slices) is far superior in quality and taste.Listed in: LA Pizza

We come here for lunch from work and really enjoy the sandwiches, particularly the spicy chicken and the veggie sandwich. Good quality, similar to a torta from a mexican place.

Pizza was only OK and the price was not all that cheap. The dinning area was about as hot as the pizza oven. No circulation and just uncomfortable, even on a cold night. I will say the staff was nice and responsive. But I would not come back.

I started working in El Segundo recently and had a pizza craving at lunchtime. I prefer NY-style, so I skipped Stuft and found Andiamo. The people were super nice, the slices were pretty good. Crispy crust, on the thin side, like that. Tasty sauce, very rich, like that. Good cheese. Two slices and a soda for $5, very good price. My only critique is that the slices were on the small side by NY standards (probably better for my waistline though).

I'm really surprised by all of the negative reviews! I work in the area, and my five office-mates and I are always searching for a great place for lunch. This is one of the very few places that we all love.
Sometimes it can be slow, hence 4 stars instead of 5. When in a hurry, we order ahead. The pizza can get a little expensive, but worth it. The HUGE 14" medium can easily cover two or three meals, so when you look at it that way, it's not bad, especially when you use their on-going buy-one-get-one-half-off pizza deal. If you don't want that much pizza, they generally have a $5 deal for two slices of pizza and drink.
We definitely prefer this place over Rock n'Brews (formerly Vinny's), even though the atmosphere isn't anything special. (I've even attended an office party at Rock n'Brews and walked across the street afterwards to take-out an Andiamo's pizza.) What this place lacks in atmosphere it makes up for in taste. The garlic twists and pesto twists are to die for (and to die from, as I imagine they're quite bad for you). Collectively, we've had over half of the items on the menu, and the pizzas, sandwiches, and calzones have all been great. I wasn't crazy about the lasagna, though it clearly had alot of spices I found it a bit bland.
We also like when the owner/operator is there. Really great guy. Apparently, he is a co-owner of the Tavern on Main across the street, so if you want better atmosphere, they'll even deliver the food across the street for you to eat there.
I'd love to see some more Andiamo lovers post their reviews. -

Just basic, average pizza. Nothing special, nothing detrimental versus other pizza places.

Pizza was actually pretty good, and they sell it by the slice, but the service was appalling. Avoid if possible. Actually, only reason we went here was cause it is like the only thing open in El Segundo on a Sunday evening.

Love love love this place. People are super friendly. I have had their salads, pizza and a few of their sandwiches. Everything was excellent. The first time we went there someone ordered and bailed on the order, so the manager gave us the pizza for free. can't fuck with that! My wife is super picky with her thin crust pizza being French, and she goes nuts about this place. Oui Oui!!

Andiamo's is really good food. It is a bit on the pricey side but their sandwiches and salads are excellent.
When I go I buy the Meatball Sandwich and a 1/4 size Greek Salad. You really would have a hard time finding a better Meatball sandwich. It is the best I have ever tasted. Their style pizza is pretty good also.
Like I said the food is not bargain prices but the quality of the ingredients are excellent and the people that work there including the owner are always very nice. -

Went here during my tour of Sandwich Town (El Segundo's Main Street). Got a meatball parm sandwich. It was good. Not specatular. But, good. I just should have gotten more food because it didn't fill me up. My friend got the hugest calzone I've ever seen. She seemed to enjoy it. I wanted to try their pizza but it was late and they didn't have any left. Ahh wells. I'd try it again.

That's right, EVEN with $10 gc, this place only gets 3 stars. The pizza tastes just okay, not great since it seems they substitute oil for flavor. The pastrami sandwich was good......but the ratio was horrible, meat to bread ratio, let's just say you get full off the bread.

Poor service, partially cooked and nuked food, I'm done with the place. It used to be better, but it's been going downhill for some time. Not recommended
