What can I say that has not already been said in 274 reviews?
Probably nothing. At this point, yelpers have most likely told you details as minute as to which direction Andiamo hangs its toilet paper. So I am just going to break down the facts real smooth for you pizza crazed cool kids.
If you are looking for that authentic NY slice.. you know the one.. big and floppy with the ooey cheese on a thin chewy crust, go else where. Andiamo is not the destination for a pizza purist; getting plain cheese here is just plain silly. They have the best selection of specialty pizza with the freshest of toppings and ingredients. I couldn't even begin to recommend one over another, for I have tried nearly, if not all, of the pizzas on the menu and every single one is delicious!
Seating is mostly outdoor. The inside has a few (we are talking like 4-5) high-top tables. So girls, don't bother running that hair straighnter through your locks or polishing up the foundation because it is all going to go to sh*t within 20 min of sitting in Miami humidity. Sorry.
In true Miami fashion, parking wavers between a small annoyance and completely hellacious. There is a paid lot right across from Andiamo and if that is full there is another lot just on the other side of Soyka. There are also a handful of meters. Of course, no free parking.
Service is decent in my opinion. It can get really busy here during peak hours but service doesn't suffer too much for it, they are pretty on top of their game. The pizzas are made fresh and well worth any kind of wait. Although I came in here late once (following the Yelp Hangover Holiday Elite party) and prance up to the counter where I say to the dude, "hey dude, I want a pizza, just give me whatever." I had been doing some double fisting that night and at that point, any combo of dough, sauce and cheese would do. And in like 5 minutes he delivered me with the goods. That's what I call service.
Price is fair. A large will run you about 18 bucks, but again, this is for a pizza loaded with good stuff. I recommend getting a few small (aprox. 10$) or medium (aprox. 14$) ones though of different varieties and sharing with friends.
The atmosphere at Andiamo is casual and great for a bite with friends or fam. You could easily take a date here too, kind of a swanky setting with the fire lamps and boob sweat. And then head across the street to The News Lounge for some killer lemon drop shots, just my personal recommendation.
I'm pretty sure andiamo translates into awesome in Italian.Listed in: Pantie dropper dates

Brooklyn, NY
Visited a few weeks ago with my boyfriend and two of our friends. Before we got there, he gave me his standard pizza spot warning, "Now don't be all Brooklyn girl judge-y if you don't like it". Oye. Bossy man.
The kitsch of the space itself works. The outdoor area is spacious while not too vast which is always a good balance. There were families, folks on dates and friends like ourselves. Service was great...prompt and patient. While waiting for our friends, bf and I ordered the Andiamo salad. Very tasty and a really generous serving. I'm a super picky(vegetarian) eater and extra picky with my pizza. I was really pleased with my choice. My bf (super meat eater) and friends loved their food as well.
We'll be back. -
Review from Tony A.
I really enjoy the pizza here. More importantly I love the ambiance. It's a great place to spend a Friday night at because of the plenitude of outdoor seating and solid beer selection. Just pizza, beer, and friends. Good sh_t.
There is a creative selection of pizzas. I'm a sucker for the meaty selections but the veggie pies are very good too, it just depends on your taste. Very solid place. -

After reading the reviews I was very much looking forward to eating here... Wish I could say better things, but meh. That's exactly what it was, good meatballs for an app with an okay tomato sauce. Had a large pizza half new Yorker and half bambina, not bad but not great, under seasoned but fresh ingredients. I think I would have liked it better with some EVOO but when I asked for some they
Brought me a canola-olive salad oil blend. I will most likely be back and hope that it was just a slow sunday lethargic preparation of the pizza. -
Review from Paula E.
I have been to Andiamos a handful of times. In the past, I thought it was an alright establishment with good food, okay service, and best of all, a pleasant and unique environment. It wasn't til last night that I discovered that what they offer with their product, they terribly lack in customer service, and unfortunately in this business you need them both.
Last night after a day in the sun, a group of friends and I decided that the best way to end a Sunday would be to grab some pizza. It was pretty packed for a Sunday, understandably, and we were told that they could prepare a table for us but it would take some time. Sounds fair, we'll cross the street to New Times and chill in the hammocks til our table is ready.
When the hunger pangs started to kick in, my friend and I decided to leave the group and cross the street to inquire about the progress of our table. The lady greeted us again, and informed us that the wait had decreased but that they weren't going to serve us. EXCUSE ME? She told us that one of the males in our group had used profanity and we were too "intoxicated". We asked what was said that caused so much commotion and told them we would be more careful with our language, but she didn't seem to have a sensible explanation other than "we don't want to serve you, there are families around".
I'm so tired of this type of discrimination, just because I'm young and don't have any children doesn't mean I don't deserve the same amount of respect.
The irony of it all is that as we walked away, right in front of all the tables there was a car parked where a couple was doing everything close to having sex, with the windows wide open. When we pointed this out to the "concerned manager" she said she didn't care. LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT, it is okay for your establishment to have a peep show for their families but its not okay for a young group of people to sit down and enjoy some beers and pizza?
I will never again step foot on this establishment, and I work in the food industry and I will make sure that all my connections note this and do so as well.
PS- don't have delivery from them, that I can say with 100% that sucks and you're pizza will be cold because the delivery guy doesn't seem to know the area well. -

An old gas station turned into a pizzeria with pizza that contains truffle oil? This was a place I had to check out. And boy was I not disappointed.
We got a pizza that was half portobello (mushrooms, goat cheese, truffle oil) and the other half athena (Spinach, olives, and feta cheese). Both were really good, but I have to say the portobello was the winner just b/c I have a soft spot for truffle oil. It's a bit on the heavy side as it also contains mozarella. but still amazing! Nice location, and plenty of parking to find on the street.
Definitely bringing my friends who visit Miami to this place! -

I've heard really good things about Andiamo's! So i couldn't wait to get there. When I drove up I thought I was going get gas ( for my car ) it looks like a gas station so there goes a star for ambience.
I ordered two pies because a water skiing buddy was on his way, Putanesca and BBQ Chicken. While I waited for them I tried a glass of their Andiamo Red wine but left that and went to beer. I've bought better wine at Walmart for a $1.97.
My buddy showed up about the same time as the pizza's arrived so got him a beer and dug in. Got to tell you both were great, a lot of topping, fresh cheese on the Putanesca and the BBQ Chicken was lather with BBQ sauce and covered with chicken.
So they got to strikes ! for the gas station look and 1 for the wine. -

I don't see what all the Hype of this place Sorry.
I went on a Sunday with my mom from Kendal. It was a nice day for a drive to the Beach and get some food.
We got there very easily. Hardly any traffic on the road at noon time. I parked across the street cause they don't have a private lot or garage. Crossing the street we almost got hit by a speeding car. Drivers around that area don't yield to Pedestrians! We get to the restaurant and noticed that most of the seating is outdoors. It has some indoor tables but they are high tables with stools and is uncomfortable for seniors like my Mom. We sat in the patio and it has to be Redone. Th cement floor is uneven, full of cracks, and slopes. The chairs were dirty and very unstable. I felt like I was gonna break the chair and so did my Mom. The service was ok nothing to write home about.
We started off with the Andiamo salad and it was OK. Lettuce with mushrooms, peppers, olives, and tomatoes with their house dressing. Then we ordered a 14 in pizza with half cheese and the other half with God farther topping. Looks good on paper but that's it! We got the pizza and i served my mom a plain slice and I had one of the Godfather slices. The pizza was under cooked and my God farther pizza half had most of the toppings on one slice and the other two had hardly any toppings. It's like it was made in a Rush when the place was empty. I wont be going here again any time soon. -

A Biscayne blvd staple. Quality pizza with a decent selection of drinks. Can't name what I normally order (other than a margerrita pizza) is one loaded with veggies. Also during game times, they do have a projection screen outside.

One of the few places in Miami with great pizza and always crowded. The New Yorker is excellent. It's very thin and tasty. The Ratatouille is also very good. Good place to hang out with friends on a late night.

Best pizza in Miami. Hands down. I don't live close, but whenever I want pizza THIS IS WHERE I GO. We got half New York and half Pesto. You can't go wrong. Definitely worth a visit.

This place may or may not have good food, I don't know because they would not seat me or my friends. We were initially told that there was an hour wait (a bit far fetched for a Sunday at 8) but my group was willing to wait. After waiting a half hour across the street at a bar two girls from our group returned to check our status. We were told they were not going to seat us because our group was too big of a liability. Apparently the hostess felt our group was too "inebriated". So if you've had a beer and are craving pizza...don't come here!

To be honest, I've never had bad pizza. I mean how bad can crust, cheese, tomato sauce, and meat taste together? If you can mess up a pizza then you really have some talent. But what makes a good pizza place good? Debatable, I think it's personal preference.
I like my pizza thin crust, lots of toppings, and don't go insane with the butter and lard. Andiamo's has great toppings I've tried almost all of their pizzas - my favorite - the God father when I feel like indulging, and the Prosciutto when I feel fat and guilty. Their pizza's have perfectly thin crusts, a nice hearty layer of cheese and toppings, and a good robust flavor in their meats. One thing that could be better is if the crust was cooked just slightly more, it tends to get soggy with the cheese and toppings on it. However the price is right! And value always matters. :) 14inch for 15 bucks or so, enough to feed 3 (regular) people. Also love sitting outdoors on a nice breezy Miami night. Their meat balls are home made and come with savory marinara sauce and feta cheese but could be a little more fluffy if you know what I mean. I would say Andiamo's and Anthony's coal fire pizza probably go head to head in terms of the best pizza in Miami! -

The Eggplant pizza, is great...
the pizzas are big enough...
the service is pretty good.
I love the vibes, former gas station transformed in a great pizza place...
sounds pretty weird the first time... " WTF a pizza in a gas station, are you sure?" I told my boyfriend...

Now this is the real, Pizza Pizza!
Located on the Northern part of Biscayne this is defintitely a place to have a nice casual dinner outside. Grab a table anywhere where there's an open one. Sit down, they'll be with you shortly.
As far as the pizza, the choices may overwhelm you. So much we decided to get one pizza and the rest of us Paninni's. Here's the verdict.
First off, Beer. Don't get the traditional Peroni you get at any Italian joint. Get the Birra Moretti. Simply, awesome.
Back to food:
Try their new South Philly Pizza. Roasted Garlic, Tomatoes, American Cheese (yes, American Cheese). At first your taste buds are telling you WTH is this? After a few bites you're just introducting your pallet to a new sensational taste. You won't regret it.
Panini's we ordered are as follows, in order of ranking:
- Chicken Pannini (wonderful mixtures, good dose of chicken)
- Italiano Pannini (great selections all topped on a soft warm panini)
- Proscuitto Pannini (you would think they'd score first, but only ONE slice of Proscuitto...why oh why??)
Last, but certainly not least. Grab one of their big-sized chocolate chip cookies. Awesome enough to make you take a bite...and...make you forget your left overs. Dammit!! -

Decided to check out Andiamo since I had heard so many people rant & rave about how good it is.
The menu was nice and extensive which was great because there's nothing like having a bunch of mouth watering options. Finally my friend & I decided on the Pesto Chicken.
After waiting maybe about 20 minutes (not bad), our pizza arrived and we devoured it. I have to say it WAS delicious, but I did feel it was lacking a tab bit of sauce and the dough was baked maybe a hair too long. 8 out 10.
Only complaint was I asked for a side of marinara, and it arrived when I was done with my first slice (I had 3 in total).
As for dessert, we had the White Chocolate w/Hazelnut Truffle Tartufo (ice cream). It was light, yummy and not overpowering.
As a restaurant enthusiast and culinary student, I would suggest to go, I definitely will again. -

Best pizza in Miami! (with Harrys being a close second) Lots of vegetarian options with fresh ingredients. Great place to hang out with some friends before going out or to go to on a date- mostly outdoor seating. They even have the big projector screen playing the Heat games :) Watching sports while eating amazing pizza- I'm hooked!

I give Andiamo's a big... 'eh'.
It's good pizza for Miami. If you're from somewhere up North where they have real pizza, lower your expectations. It's a small(ish) 'large' overpriced pizza, with jarred ingredients just thrown on after or slightly before cooking. The crust is crispy but unflavored and bland, with some basic sauce, and toppings/cheese are sparse. People like it because it has outdoor tables with a large projection TV, but I've been there twice for dine-in and twice for take-out, and that's enough for me.
If you like real pizza, this is not the place for you. If the prices were lower (maybe $7 for a small and $11 for a large) I would say it's worth picking up for a quick dinner, but not as currently priced.
Also, for takeout there are only 3 spots available (which seem to be always occupied), and you'll be pushed for paid parking just to pick up.
With all the new, good restaurants in Midtown/NE Miami, I must say Andiamo's is worth driving by. -

Absolutely, totally, and without a doubt... I, love, this, place. I love the building. I love the pizza. I love the prices. I love the proximity to my work and home. I love their benches. I love their trees. I love the birds that fly around the place and who are expertly trained not to poo on your food. I just love coming here.
My favorite pie so far has to be the Eggplant. Which is ironic because when I was a kid, in order to make me eat eggplant marinara, my mom would always say, "Eat it. It tastes like pizza!"
Cheers! -

Delicious! I love everything about this place!
The location is cool and I like the outdoor seating and ample street parking. Cars are driving by but you feel like you are in your own little world- surrounded by delicious pizza smells, greenery and a cool industrial sort of vibe.
So many pizzas to choose from and the best part is that you can get 1/2 of one and 1/2 of another! We ordered the Portabello and the Godfather. It was piping hot when it came to our table and it was so good. Crunchy thin crust, fresh and loaded with toppings! Clearly we needed a box to take home!
If you are not in the mood for pizza, the menu also offers an array of paninis and salads. I love that they have black cherry soda (my fave). -

Average.
We had the margarita pizza, and it was good. Nothing special. I feel the crust could have been cooked a little longer for more char, but even so it wasn't bad.
I appreciate that everything is fresh, from the tomatoes to the cheese to the fresh basil. When I looked at it I thought, "It kinda reminds me of DiFara..." DiFara is one of the best slices of pizza on the planet, located in Brooklyn. And while they were going for that, it just doesn't come together. Seems like the ingredients are just on top of the dough; not part of it.
I wouldn't not go back, but at the same time I wouldn't go out of the way for it.
I did like the outdoor location, and the roof to avoid rain. Thought that was nice.
In the end though, I'd actually prefer that chain restaurant which has been popping up everywhere, "Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza." I think that's actually slightly better.
I'm not the end all, be all pizza expert, but I have eaten at:
Patsy's
Grimaldi's
Joe's on Carmine
Joe's in LA (both)
John's on Bleecker
DiFara (brooklyn)
Spinoi Gardens (brooklyn)
Two Boots
Bleecker St Pizza
Artichoke
Una Pizzeria Napoletana (new york and san fran)
Sally's in New Haven
Frank Pepe's in New Haven/Bronx
Antico (Atlanta, FANTASTIC)
De Lorenzo's (Trenton)
Sciortino's (Perth Amboy)
Brother's and Taverna (East Brunswick)
In other words, I love pizza, and pride myself in getting it right. I will travel for it.
This place is just "good." Nothing more. -

My stubborn attitude towards going somewhere new for pizza finally ended when we came here. Being from the North, yes I am picky with my pizza and there are very few places here that I like. All of the reviews and from so many of my trusted friends have given this place high ratings so I figured give in and finally see what it is all about.
All outside seating and it is comfortable with the big fans but the bugs will eat you alive. Yes, by time we left my leg's had little bite marks everywhere. From the moment we sat down our waitress was super bubbly and very good.
Hubby and I ordered a large pizza half Godfather and the other half eggplant. It was so cool how they let us do half and half off their specialty pizza menu. As I sat there a table next to us had ordered a salad and it looked amazing. So regretted not ordering one.
Our pizza arrived and it looked good. Yes it is thin crust but not burnt on the bottom which is my pet peeve. Wow, the first piece I grabbed was the eggplant, with pesto sauce, diced eggplant, mozzarella, oh my it was excellent. The pesto sauce was so tasty and all the flavors just matched perfectly. The godfather half was just OK for me. After the eggplant side the godfather just did not stand up to it.
The best part was how fresh every single ingredient was on the pizza. Yes, so very glad I finally quit being a snob and came here. Fan for sure, can not wait to go back.
PS, please spray some bug spray otherwise I might have to do take out and come home with my delicious pizza. -
Review from Hannah S.
Every time I visit News Lounge for happy hour, I gaze longingly at Andiamo's, dreaming about the pizza I've heard so much about. Miami is severely lacking in decent pizza options, and I'm a New Yorker, so I'm constantly craving the good stuff.
Finally, I was able to try it after a group of us headed over after several hours of cocktails and conversation at News. I wasn't terribly hungry, but the pizzas everyone ordered sounded soooooo good. Some good friends ordered a veggie friendly option, so I was able to ride their coattails and indulge.
The breadsticks were warm, soft and super delicious. And although I'm not generally a fan of thin crust pizza, Andiamo's was truly exceptional. The toppings were plentiful and the cheese and crust were totally mouthwatering. I can't remember the name of what we ordered, but it gets a gold star. I will absolutely be back for more.
Recommendation: Skip the food at News, just drink, then hit up Andiamo's for your post -party meal. -

Had the Hawaiian and the Godfather (sausage, pepperoni, meathball, onion, olives) both were good brick oven pizzas. They have a poster on the wall from an article stating it was one of the top 10 pizza places in the US. I wouldn't go and say that, but they are pretty good. Crispy crust and fresh ingridients.
The only thing we didn't like was the key lime pie was incredibly small for $5, I would skip that and get the tiramasu, much better choice -

Miami, FL
I was first introduced to Andiamo about two-and-a-half years ago when I started working in the area, and I've been a fan ever since.
In fact, fan is too lukewarm a word.
I've been a member of the Andiamo-style Village. Like that M. Night Shyamalan movie. Or, even better, like a member of the Creedish in Chuck Palahniuk's "Survivor."
Yes, that's a better reference.
Without fail, I always get the same thing: I start with an order of breadsticks accompanied by warm marinara sauce for dipping and the portobello pizza (minus onions).
The breadsticks are amazing, but what really makes me order the breadsticks with Cult-like obeisance is the marinara sauce. Honestly, and I'm not one for hyperbole (that's a lie), it's some of the best marinara sauce I've ever had. Truly. In fact, by the time I'm out of breadsticks, I just scoop it out with a fork. That little dipping cup is cleaner by the time I'm done with it than it ever was off of the production line.
The pizza features about five different mushrooms, goat cheese, and a generous drizzle of truffle oil. It's one of the more original pizzas I've ever had. And the fact that it's coal-fired is just icing on the proverbial cake. Seriously, if you only choose one item off the menu, it has to be this pizza.
The locale is pretty fantastic, too. And the set up. Right on Biscayne, it's got that industrial look to it. The majority of the seating outside. Long park bench-type deals. I really enjoy just sitting there, especially if it's a typical Miami day, and really, I've eaten while it's rained, too, and that's just as nice.
This was a fairly short review.
Ok, because I mentioned it earlier, I'll leave you with a few words of wisdom from "Survivor:"
"You think maybe if you just work harder and faster, you can hold off the chaos, but then one day you're changing a patio lightbulb with a 5-year life span and realize how you'll only be changing this light maybe ten more times before you'll be dead.
Time is running out. There isn't the kind of energy you used to have. You start to slow down." -

Dear yelpers
I am soooo ashamed ! I ask myself: What took me so long to write a review for this place ??? (slapped my own hand) ok there I learned my lesson. I went here with a fellow yelper friend of mine to celebrate my fist yelp event i had just attended. We ate tons of amazing food and drinks at the event so I wasn't sure if we were going to be able to eat again, specially pizza because we were pretty stuffed. We ordered the Genovese and the Quattro Formaggi......OMG!!!! This was by far the best pizza I have ever had, almost had to have an intervention to stop eating it. The crust was cooked to perfection, just the perfect level of crispiness , the ingredients were fresh and of perfect amount , its outside seating (perfect for people or car watching), prices are reasonable, and staff was good, menu is pretty gigantic whith lots of selections, so if you are not in the mood for incredible pizza (if this is the case there is something clinically wrong with you) then there are other options. I don't care that it is far from my house, yes I will drive alllll the way across town for this pizza. Soooo if you are catching up with old friends, date night, need a late night bite , or whatever the occasion might be this place is right for you. Sincerely Andiamo addict. -
Review from Marc R.
I was visiting from Chicago and my friend in Miami beach - also from Chicago said we had to go here. Now we are not fans of the typical Chicago deep dish and both tend to like coal fired or brick oven thin crust, so I took her word for it.
This place was amazing. We ordered two pizzas - a four cheese and a Mediterranean. Both were amazing, The crust here is perfect. It really is. The four cheese was amazing, and the Mediterranean was also good if a bit heavy on the toppings. We had a few Italian beers and some Italian spring water. This place is trendy so the people watching is fun. There were some hot moms (really hot), some band members, and of course super cool me. The space is amazing. It looks like an old car dealership or an old gas station converted to a great open space. There is an inside section which is quite small compared to the outdoor section nicely protected under the very 50s looking roof-wings of this great space.

Hey Andiamo's - "***k you" too.
Didn't appreciate the insults from this business in response to my review. Were those messages really necessary?
I was honest and fair in stating this was a favorite business until I was insulted and their continued mistreatment and insults must mean they feel business is good enough to lose a few more customers.
I am NOT going back there and have found better pizza places in Miami- I will review them with honesty as I did for this business.1 Previous Review: Show all »

I loved the building and open air seating. I was a bit disappointed with my Bella Bambina pizza. I had ordered it since it was pancetta, onion, smoked gouda. I didn't taste the gouda at all which is fine, but what was most disappointing was the flavor of pepperoni. I'm not a pepperoni fan so I had purposely picked a pizza sans pepperoni yet it tasted as if it had some. The regular pizza was pretty descent.

Great pizza, probably the best in Miami.
Very thin crust, very cheesy and you can do half & half!
We ordered half godfather pizza (Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Meatballs, Onions, Peppers, Mushrooms, Olives, Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella & Parmesan) and half andiamo pizza (Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella & Basil) and added grilled chicken breast.
SO GOOD!
Plenty of cheese and fresh ingredients.
LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
