I'm a two-time customer of APP. Gary had done the work both times. He is very knowledgeable and friendly, and works very efficiently. He's also very honest and trustworthy - he won't charge you for a bogus repair or do more work than is necessary.

The pricing is reasonable - not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. He billed accurately for time and parts on both occasions.

They also do drywall repair, which is often necessary after plumbing work. They did a good job of patching my ceiling after an upstairs-bathroom leak. The texturing matches very closely.

I recommend this company without hesitation. I will continue to use them until Gary dies or retires. :)

I was out of town at SF, for the marathon, tenant called and informed me on a Sunday afternoon about a leaking water heater.

Called Anderson Premium Plumbing, they called my tenant back, instructed him how to turn off the water supply to the water heater only, went out on that Monday morning and installed the new water heater.

The price that he can get from his distributors is incredible.  I went and check up on the work, superb job as always.

Don't be fool but the "OTHER" Anderson Plumbing, that's a big outfit that will just overcharged you.  Gary's company is what i would considered concierge service at a blue collar price.

I work in the construction contracting industry and am accustomed to seeing varying levels of quality in plumbing work. I set up a simple Moen sink faucet fixture installation for my older parents, as I am currently working in the project management of constructing public high schools up in Los Angeles.

I found this plumbing contractor through Yelp. I was quite dismayed to stop by my parent's place today and see the quality of work that Anderson's Premium Plumbing left. Apparently the plumber that came out noted to my parents that he had not had any experience installing a Moen sink faucet fixture, as he had difficulty figuring out how to attach the rough-in valve assembly to the fixture. The plumber claimed that it was incompatible (despite me ordering the fixture and valve assembly myself per manufacturer specifications).

    Pros:
    1. He eventually figured it out.
    2. Friendly initial demeanor.
    3. Friendly phone line receptionist to set up appointment.
    4. Sink fixture works.

    Cons:
    1. Charged labor for removal & replacement of sink in order for him to install fixture (which would be ok), but he did not properly grout the sink base or seal the sink perimeter against the wall as they were before he came.
    - Noticeable gaps are visible (email me if you would pictures for reference).
    - These gaps are both visibly poor craftsmanship and potential areas of water intrusion.
    - Now more work is required for a complete installation.
    2. The fixture came with options of either red & blue or grey ~5mm diameter color inserts per each fixture handle (chrome finish)
    - I put the grey ones in to match the chrome finish; the plumber swapped those out for the red/blue ones without asking my parents and threw the grey ones away.
    3. After calling to ask about the inserts , the plumber said the grey ones were not inserted when he was given the package by my parents.
    - I knew he was falsifying information, as unbeknownst to him I had inserted the grey ones myself.
    - He noted there was nothing he could do, and that I could try contacting the fixture manufacturer.
    4. Labor rate is ok/standard; material costs are high.

Gary is a sole proprietor.  He does his own work, and does it well.  He was initially recommended to me by a local handyman service which seemed to be a good source.
Plumbing work is never inexpensive but at least you know you are not going to be overcharged.  Gary stuck by his bid on some recent work he did for me despite it's taking longer to complete than he probably anticipated.

At first I thought this guy was the best....  BUT when he needed to come back to fix what he wouldn't fix in the first place--it was clearly obvious that he didn't want to tear apart our waterheater thermal cuplier.  We had an appointment for him to come back the following day and he gave a lame excuss why he couldn't come.  Needless to say, I've called a different plumber to do the work.  If you don't want the work, then you shouldn't be in business--or, don't answer your phone!  LOOSER!

BEST. PLUMBER. EVER. I needed some plumbing work done, called and made an appointment, they showed up on time, were very friendly and completely knowledgeable, knew what needed to be done and gave me an accurate quote. Absolutely the best experience with plumbing repair I've ever had. 100% recommended. Absolutely 100% recommended!

At 4:45 my sink started overflowing with water which was a surprise because I wasn't running any water! Figuring I was slowly going to watch my condo float away, I hit up Yelp to find a plumber, just hoping they could make it out in the morning. Sure enough, I called and they came right out the same night. Showing up right on time, getting the work done quickly and very reasonably priced. I am so thankful for the work they did and the speed with which they did it. Surely I will be able to get some peaceful rest tonight.

We've used Anderson's a few times now and actually just scheduled our next call with him. Gary is very nice, on time and honest. He has spent quite a bit of time trying to detect a leak that nobody else was able to find and even though he wasn't able to find it (looooong story, it was in the landscaping) he still only charged us the service call fee - even with looking at a couple of other problems we had.

In short - this is the only plumber I will ever use. My hairdresser in Mission Valley called him at the last minute to do some plumbing work after the one she had scheduled did not show up. He did great work for her too and always recommends him.

My kitchen sink was backed up; after trying chemicals and removing the trap with no joy, I gave up and decided to call a plumber. First plumber I found on the web, they quoted me a shade less than 400 bills. Although this was my first plumbing incident as a home owner, I was fully aware that these things get expensive, but seriously, are you kidding me? I decided to get a second opinion...

I found Anderson's Premium Plumbing (similar name, but don't get them confused!) on Yelp, saw the great reviews, and decided to give them a shot. They arrived and quoted me less than a FOURTH of the other estimate, a tad more if they needed to bring out "the machine." I gave them the thumbs up, and 15 minutes later, my sink is usable again.

Highly recommend, fair pricing, upfront and knowledgeable. These guys are absolute pros!

Just sold my house and had to get a few plumbing items taken care of before close of escrow.  Anderson's Premium Plumbing was able to fit us with just one day's notice.  Gary and his team did a fantastic job at an extremely reasonable price.  I'll definitely use him in the future and will recommend to all my friends and family!

I have used Anderson Premium Plumbing for several jobs during the past few months.  They did some small jobs well.  However, I had them do three bathrooms.  The first bath was done late.  The second bathroom is being redone because there was still a leak after everything was supposedly sealed.  The third bath has been a disaster.  They cut the vinyl for the floor wrong twice.  They did the kitchen floor in addition to the bath.  Even they admit that it has to be redone.  They are once again past the deadline they set.  They don't seem to care and have been rude instead of apolagetic.  They leave the condo with tools and materials all over the place so that it does not show well.  I will not use them again.
