Went there for dinner.  Not a fan of seafood, but the chicken dish I ordered was great.  The seafood my co-worker ordered was really good.

I had the orange glaze/horseradish chicken.  Very good taste.  Bread pudding for dessert was really good.

The service was outstanding!

The calamari was a bit tough.

Can be great for live entertainment in the huge bar area (which tends toward meat-market crowds at times, especially Thursdays.

Not what it used to be, as a restaurant. Mediocre food overly priced.

I've been to the restaurant here a couple of times, and I always wonder why I go back.  I love the bar & music here (I gave it two stars instead of 1 just because I like the bar alone), but I just really, really don't think the restaurant is worth the hype and cost.  I want more bang for my buck.

I think the seafood was mediocre and overpriced.  The view is nice, but it's not worth sitting in a restaurant that's so loud that you can barely hear your dinner mates.

Also, the bar's signature drink, a "Play-de-do" or something like that, isn't worth buying.  It tastes like Kool-Aid and is really weak. Nasty.

The restaurant IS literally behind a warehouse on Cantrell. If it weren't for the big blue sign on the side of the road, it would have been easy to miss - especially since I am not from the area.

The restaurant is big, decorated in hardwood, and has a nice, warm feel to it. It wasn't busy at all when we arrived and I was able to request a table overlooking the river.

I ordered the crab au gratin (heart attack on a plate), the Play-de-do and the Six and Six. All of my food was delicious. I especially loved the cajun mashed potatoes, the rice and the butter that they served with the bread. I scarfed my whole meal down and was bummed I couldn't stuff my face even more with dessert.

Why the 4 out of 5 stars? It took 25 minutes to get my appetizer. Unless they were trolling for crabs and oysters in the river out front, I thought this was way too long to wait for my first course.

Final verdict: Go.

Usually really good. Great atmosphere. See if you can get a table by the river if you want a view. Wine list is OK.
Party is always hopping on the patio!
If you want something sweet, try a play-d-doh!

I really like this place.  I love the atmosphere.  It's right on the river, so the views are nice.  You can go in and have a nice dinner with your spouse/date or you can go in with a big group and have fun.  You can feel comfortable taking your children if you need to.  They have a great room you can rent for private parties and the buffet they set up is really good.  Their menu is great and the quality and portions of food are excellent for the price you pay.  The wait staff have always been excellent as well.

Reservations are recommended, but you can go in without reservations...you just might wait a while.  Enjoy!  It's worth it!

My mom and I ate here tonight and I can honestly say it was some of the worst seafood I have ever had. While the service was great, the food left much to be desired. The horseradish crusted Grouper didn't have the slightest taste of horseradish and did not taste fresh in the least, the scallops had absolutely no taste at all, and the shrimp tasted days old.  I have had better seafood at Red Lobster. Do not seek out Cajun's Wharf. You will thank me.

I love Cajun's! I have traveled to Little Rock a couple of times for business and ended up here, not begrudgingly, twice. Both times I thought my meal was fantastic! I love everything about the dining space. All the hardwood, the warm colors and the dirty river drifting by the windows! I have sampled almost every single appetizer and they were all delicious! I think my favorites would be the crab au gratin and the oysters bienville! My favorite entree is the tilapia! When I found out, the second time, that we were coming to Cajun's I started to day dream/fantasize about my tilapia meal. The coconut-pecan crust is DELICIOUS, the fish is cooked perfectly and the mango-chipotle reduction is just heavenly. I've never made it to dessert, as I stuff myself with all of the savory courses, but I imagine they are just as satisfying as the prior.
The only thing that I would recommend not getting would be their drink special, the Play-De-Do. It prefer more alcohol with my juice drinks.
After typing this review, I have noticed that I am starting drool... please excuse me while I dream of Little Rock's Cajun's Wharf from snowy Boston!

The Best Place in Little Rock for: drinks, groups & seafood!

Nestled behind warehouses on Cantrell street, you'll find one of the largest restaurants in the city and some of the best food in Arkansas.

They have huge outdoor deck/bar area, a large dinning room and banquet rooms that can serve anywhere from 10 to 300.

The food is fantastic!

Start with appetizers: at Cajun's Wharf you don't have to  choose between chasing tail or having a heart-order BOTH the fried crawfish tails & artichoke hearts.

For my entree, I really enjoyed the cedar plank salmon with a baby spinach salad.

Did I fail to mention that they have fully stocked bar and a respectable wine list?

They have live music in the bar several nights during the week.

Order the Six and Six!  Seafood is flown in fresh each day. Great service and nice atmosphere.  It appears to the a popular spot with the business travelers.  Pricing in moderate for fresh seafood.

Thursday nights at Cajun's get's a little crazy...

Multi level restaurant with multiple bars and live music.  After midnight when the band is done with their set, the place transforms into a ghetto booty dance party....

so yes...there's a bit of everything for everybody.

If you don't like crowds or just want to hang out with a group of friends, there are plenty of corners and spaces to get away.

Food and drinks are decent, but are kind of pricey for having to pay a five dollar cover just to get into the place.
