To be clear, I have never availed myself of this spa's services.

However, their services have kept me married more times than I care to relate.

All I know is that when purchasing services, they are nice, friendly, and that I am putty in their hands.  When my wife comes back from a visit to Andante, she loves me again.

So, if you are like me, a husband who is not always perfect, check out Andante, your ticket out of the doghouse.  If you are the spouse of a husband that is not always perfect, leave not-so-subtle hints about your need to spend time at Andante and your spouse's need to go buy you a damn gift card.

See Jennifer N's review if you want to know what goes on inside.

This is one of my favorite places in Nashville!

Do not be fooled by the diminuitive house on Kirkwood Ave, this place is full of charm and friendly, helpful staff. Most of all, you will be absolutely pampered.

I have had many of the offered treatments- facials, pedicures and manicures, massages, and body scrubs. Every service was wonderful- a calm and pleasant spa environment with technically superior and knowledgeable staff who really take their time with you.

I have taken friends as well, to treat them, and they have also had great experiences.

The best part for me, was the lack of pretension and the lack of typical spa atmosphere. I have often felt like I was their only client, and I had each staff's full attention. There is no faked-eastern-philosophy influence, just real serenity and superior services in an unexpected location. Definitely worth it to pamper yourself here.

I googled and Yelp'ed good day spas in Nashville, and decided to go to Andante for a facial.  The woman who checked me in was very nice, and turned out to be the owner.  The lady who did my facial was very nice, and informative.  I give the facial 3.5 stars...Could have been better, but was okay.

It was a cute, cozy little house in a random part of Nashville - with rooms for massage, facials, scrubs, and mani/pedi's.  The price was reasonable.  I will probably go back one day soon.

They also sell little trinkets in the lobby - jewelry and such.

While not in the part of town you would normally guess a nice day spa would be, you can find a cute little house that is the home to Andante Day Spa.  I stopped in today to inquire about their packages for an upcoming girls' weekend, and the lady at the desk was super nice.

She was on the phone for about the first 5 or 6 minutes I was standing there, but made sure I knew she was going to get to me.  She apologized profusely, but it made me feel better about the place because it let me know that they were busy booking appointments!  I asked what was the largest size group they could accommodate--she said they once had a gaggle of 63 ladies!  Mine will be about 5, so that works!

Obviously, no group is too small or too big!  The atmosphere was very calming--nice little lounge area with some antique furniture that looked very cozy.  The spa packages seem to be a pretty good deal--the "Mini Day" is $150 and comes with choice of two services (massage, facial, body polish--whatever that is--and mani/pedi) AND a sauna treatment.  She said it all takes about 3+ hours.  A 30 minute massage plus 30 minute facial is only $80!  I've heard the massages there are pretty good, too!

The list goes on to include a full day of pampering, plus an "a la carte" menu--pedicures, manicures, and massages, facials, waxing, skin care, and body treatments.  They accept walk-ins for these, but just be prepared to wait.  Appointments are preferred.  I will definitely book a spa package here.  The lady was the nicest person I've dealt with at places such as this, and prices are right.  Minus one star for location only!

This is the only day spa I've been to my entire five years that I lived in Nashville.  I like the ambiance inside although admittedly it is in an incredibly strange part of town.  The prices are reasonable and I've always like the body scrubs/massages I've gotten there even though every time I've gone, I've gotten someone different.

Casual, intimate, elegant, and not too expensive.  I had a small party for my birthday here and we got a great deal on choice of mani or pedicure/massage or facial combos plus bollinis and sandwiches catered.  There is an atrium with an old red phone booth and a large wooden table for favors/cake/other fun stuff, a couch, chair, and chaise lounge.  They also sell some groovy jewelry.
