History
Established in 2005
Andalee has been studying Middle Eastern dance since 2005 and she's been delighting audiences since 2007. Her style of dance is rooted in Egyptian Oriental style with other belly dance styles tossed in for good measure. Andalee continues to take many workshops with nationally renowned performers and instructors.
Now a teacher, Andalee hopes to share the love of the dance with others. Her mission is to promote belly dance as a respected and valid performance art. Andalee directs and choreographs a student troupe, the Nightingales, which performs at student recitals, halfas, stage shows and other community events.
Andalee belongs to the Association of Central Carolina Middle Eastern Dancers and is a member of the North Carolina Dance Alliance. Andalee is also a member of the Khâhari Belly Dance Collaborative troupe based in Chapel Hill, NC. They work together on choreograhies for solos and group dances.
