Unfortunately, this is the only store and gas station on the east side of Hubbard Lake. Over the years, due to the hard hit economy around the lake, this place has hung on by it's fingernails...it used to be a standard lake-town grocery with lots of cold beer, aisles of chips, cookies, candies, and marshmellows, and a big freezer case of ice cream.
These days, I literally get a little sad walking in. Literally half the shelves are empty now and most of the items in stock have dust on them. It looks like the merchandise has been sitting around since last season, at best.
I always try and support the little guy and we go here whenever we can, but they have less and less so it's tough to find anything you need here. Hopefully it'll hang in a few more years until the economy picks up again.
