I can't say enough great things about Anchor Blinds. . . but here are a few:
1) I called to schedule an in-home estimate and was scheduled for the next day. I called another company, just for due dilligence, and their first appointment was three weeks away. I'm impatient, but right there that told me something about the level of customer service I'd receive with Anchor Blinds.
2) The consultation itself was great--I was shown a lot of options and everything was explained very thoroughly. Without even getting any other estimates I just went for it--I trusted Anchor completely after that first meeting.
3) Only two weeks after that my blinds were installed--quickly, professionally, and without any issues. I was SO glad for the suggestions Armi gave me because my blinds look amazing in my home--it's some of the best money I've ever spent.
4) And AFTER the install Armi stopped by to check on the work and make sure there were no problems. Seriously--have you been privileged to have that kind of customer service anywhere else, EVER? I have not, and that is why I can recommend Anchor Blinds to anyone with the utmost confidence. I am so happy that I read the reviews on Yelp because that's what swayed me to call them in the first place, and I hope this does the same--you'll be so happy with the work!! -

Great service and prices! If you need blinds, just give them a call and rest assured you have chosen the best. Our consultation was scheduled quickly, and Armi arrived right on time. She offered advice and a complete variety of products. We were thrilled with the prices- a few dollars more than hanging them ourselves. The blinds arrived when promised; installation was careful, clean and professional. She always returns calls or emails within minutes (honest!) and followed up installation with a visit to check everything was done to our satisfaction.

We recently moved into Escala, and received a flier in the mail for Anchor Blinds. We decided to schedule a consultation with them after consulting with 2 other window treatment companies. After the initial consultation, my wife and I felt extremely confident in hiring Anchor Blinds to do our windows.
Pricing: 5 stars
They provide you with the estimate during the initial appointment, whereas other companies take about 3-4 business days.
Prices was very fair: we ordered motorized Hunter Douglas honey comb shades in the bedroom and Garber roller shades for the living room. Anchor Blind's pricing was competitive and even less than the other companies we consulted with (even with the Groupon deal one of the other companies had).
Design Services:
This is where they get 5+ stars. The design consultant provided excellent recommendations. I cannot stress how important that was, since it gave us an opportunity to select the best treatment option. She went over different types of shades/blinds, colors, textures, etc. She offered her opinion while still allowing us to carry out our vision. The other companies we met with agreed to everything we picked out, whereas Anchor Blinds would explain how the certain color would look in lighting, affect the mood of the room, and fit with the overall look of our condo.
Installation: 5 stars
The design consultant we initially met with was actually there for the installation. They arrived promptly on schedule. They were very courteous and respectful of our home, for example, we didn't have to ask them to take off their shoes (they did it on their own), they laid down a rug and placed their tools on top of it. Installation went smoothly and perfectly.
Overall, I highly recommend Anchor Blinds to anyone who needs window treatments. -

Recommend, recommend, recommend.
I needed new blinds for a rental unit, and wanted to get good quality but not budget breaking blinds. After searching and contemplating on the different 'budget' blind companies there are out there I decided to go with a local company, Anchor Blinds.
Armi is awesome! She was able to work with me on getting 3 different manufactures blinds into one place, but make them look nice, matching and save me a couple $$$'s along the way. She definitely knows her trade and is willing to explain to you the different options. She had photos, samples, pricing and a calculator there with her at the first appointment in the house and was able to give me the fulls estimate by the end of the 1hr session. (Plus a reciept, a company info folder for ref.)
The whole crew was punctual, professional, and had good communication. The company is run Type A style.. organized. :) I even got my blinds a week earlier than expected!
I wish more home service/improvement services were run like this one!Listed in: For the Home

My partner Matthew and I just had a great experience with Armi and Wyman from Anchor Blinds.
They were courteous, friendly, professional - respectful of our preferences though not overly agreeable as to withhold guidance when appropriate.
I'd recommend Anchor Blinds to any of my friends when looking for window treatments. They deal with a large assortment of manufacturers, and help give confidence that you've examined all options. Their pricing seems fair, and it definitely felt like we received a great deal of quality and professionalism. -

Armi and crew are extremely good at what they do... They are truly pros! I was especially impressed with Armi's design help. We had gone a couple of years without blinds because we just couldn't decide what we wanted. She guided us through the process, and the end result is polished and exactly what we were looking for in terms of privacy, light blocking and look and feel.
One of our blinds had a small scratch on it upon arrival -- Armi ordered another one and replaced it within two weeks. There was zero hassle. -

I don't even have my blinds yet, this review is just for Armi's great attitude and service. She was so helpful during the picking out process--I called her after she had already left, with a possible change, and she stayed on the phone and went through the Hunter Douglas website with me as we looked at how the blinds would go with various room colors.
Next, I got new windows installed today (from someone Armi referred me to); they did the upstairs and will finish the downstairs on Monday. Armi planned to have my blinds installed Monday after they were done. I called her at 1:30 (it's Friday afternoon, too) and asked if it was possible to have someone come install the blinds just on the new windows, as I realized that the old roller shades I had been using would no longer work on the new windows, leaving me with no window cover at all in my bedroom. She first said no, then called me back 15 min. later saying she had talked to the installer and he was willing to come to my house at 6:30 to install the upstairs blinds.
To me, this is above and beyond service. I can't imagine most businesses doing this. I will tell everyone I know about Armi's business. -

I can't say enough great things about Armi and Anchor Blinds.
For those of you who are price conscious: I got two other estimates (one of them from Costco) and Armi came in lower them both.
For those who need help with deciding on textures and colors: Armi was fantastic at helping me with those things. Everything she suggested was spot on and our blinds and Romans look beautiful.
For those out there who hate waiting around for installers and other handyman to show up: the installers showed up right on time, did a bang up job and were courteous and professional.
Armi is just the nicest person to work with, someone who takes her business very seriously and loves (and great at!) what she does. -

I was very happy with Anchor Blinds and Armi from start to end. They were punctual, very nice, and with up-to-date equipments. Armi was also very responsive through e-mails too. The blinds look great (it was tricky getting the perfect match to our existing blinds) and were installed in very timely fashion. I definitely recommend them.

After seeing a postcard in our mailbox, I contacted Anchor Blinds to get a quote. Armi called me back within the day to set up a time to come over. She came prepared with samples and pictures. She was helpful in guiding us throughout the process in choosing the different types of blinds for each room. Armi set clear expectations around the price, the quality, and the timeline. Our blinds were installed ahead of schedule and look fabulous. I would definitely recommend Anchor Blinds to anyone looking for reasonably priced, customized blinds and a high level of service and follow through.

We're thrilled with out new window coverings, and the service and installation by Anchor Blinds were excellent. They were timely, professional and made great design suggestions -- which proved to be right on the mark. We previously tried to save some bucks with catalog/online window coverings, but they broke, looked cheap (even though they were expensive) and the service was crappy. Our new roller shades and honeycombs come with manufacturer warranties and Anchor Blinds' confident backing. Thanks so much!!

Great service. Absolutly knowledgable and devoted to their product. The installs are clean and precise, and the buying process has been more than smooth. My wife and I even learned a few things about interior design during the consult. I never really cared about blinds before, but now that I've gone through this process and seen the results I finnaly get it. Could not be happier.

Anchor Blinds did a great job on the blinds for about 15 windows in our house. Armi, the design consultant, came by for a free consultation and spent a lot of time helping us pick out the right product and gave us a lot of good advice. Armi also did a good job optimizing the combination of manufacturer rebates to save us a little money. There was one window that we wanted to get done on fairly short notice (for a bedroom that guests would be staying in a week or two later). She said she couldn't promise anything but they would try their best to get the blinds ordered, delivered and installed before they arrived - which they did. The remaining blinds arrived a week later and were installed (for free) in about 4 hours. There were a couple of minor hiccups they ran into during installation (some of the manufacturer-supplied hardware was missing) but these were fixed quickly. The house looks great and we're really happy with the way our windows look! Anchor Blinds seems committed to customer satisfaction and getting the job done right.
