Went for the first time after my hair colorist recommended me there for fixing a botched wax job I had.
I am so happy I went there!!  It is going to be a process to fix them but I am already sooo much happier!!  Will continue to go there even though im driving from Orange County.
A bit pricey but worth every penny!!
Front desk girls are pretty rude but I still love it there!
    Highly recommend!!

I went to Anastasia after seeing some article about how great she was.  I was in the process of doing electrolysis to permanently remove the unwanted hair on my brows and decided to let the Queen Dame herself do it to make sure I got a good shape since it would be permanent when I was finished.

I show up for my appointment and same as what others have said she was late.  I proceeded to tell her about the electrolysis and her immediate response was "why would you do that?".  Well of course for her, if I get them permanently removed I wouldn't need her services.  Hmm, conflict of interest, you think?  Anyway, I proceed to tell her that I have a couple of special issues that I needed help with.  I have eyebrow tattooing which the girl who originally did it had to cover over a mistake and that color was a little off.   I told her she had to work around it and a small spot on the left eyebrow that was missing a few hairs and I needed her to make both eyebrows the same shape even if the they did not quite fit in her "little form".  OMG, did she catch an attitude!  First, she did not do what I asked, then she filled in the blank spot with wax and powder instead of making the other side equal.  I looked like a clown!  I did not realize it until I got all of my makeup off that night.  I called back the next day and I told the girls at the front desk I was not happy and all I got was attitude about it.

So they have their 5 little forms that she created and that they all use to shape your brows.  BFD.  Not everyone is the same or even 1 out of 5 the same and sometimes you have to use a little common sense and look at the person as an individual instead of one of the herd.  Sorry, I do not have udders and spots!

Something else that really bugged me is that every time they use the warm wax they keep dipping the same stick they just used on me back into the wax leaving pieces of me behind to grow bacteria.  Same thing with the wax sticks and makeup.  Somehow I don't think the health department should be allowing it.  Might be interesting to give them a call and find out.

Anastasia has no business being in business if she is not willing to listen to the client.  Whatever happened to "the customer is always right"?  I gave it a second try by going to the Anastasia counter in Nordstrom's at the Irvine Spectrum Mall and even after I told her to not touch any of the hairs covering the tattooing she did it anyway and left part of the tattoo exposed.  Like, duh!  When I complained about it they told me not to come back.  I guess the arrogance of Anastasia's people starts at the top.

    An instant face-lift!

Years ago I tried to make an appointment with Anastasia herself only to be told I would have to wait 6 months to get one! After all these years I am so happy I waited! Anastasia has a magical hand and eye when it comes to eyebrows. She looks at the natural shape of your brow and the shape of your face and then comes up with the PERFECT shape to complement both. The result is an instant face lift.

One downside to this fairy-tale is that is pretty pricey. When I started years ago it was $55 but now you won't get out the door for less than $85. The solution to this is that the people working for her are trained to do the same thing but for a lower price. Although, in my opinion, having your brows done by Anastasia is worth it!

The other downside is the staff at the front desk. They are often distracted and, as a result,  often write information down incorrectly. In addition, the are not always very welcoming/friendly. However, that is a small price to pay in my opinion ... but it did make me only give the salon 4 stars instead of 5.

This place sucks.  You go there and the woman puts a stencil on your eyebrow and says this is "our largest brow."  Are you kidding me??  You are going to put a generic stencil on my face and tell me that my brows should look that way.  If the people who came up with this "brilliant idea" had half a brain they would realize that people have different face shapes, bone structure and no one's face is symmetrical so a stencil is not going to work and is going to make you look like someone drew on eyebrows for you.  If that is the look you are going for, then this is your place!

One of my girlfriends has been coming here to get her brows done for a few years now. Was telling her I needed to get mine done and she recommended Tracy to me. I set an appointment (which I highly recommend) and went in today for the first time to see her. She was great. Sat me down and had a consultation with me first, then showed me with a mirror what she was going to do for my approval, and took her time and didn't rush at all. I was more than pleased with her brow technique and she was very sweet to speak with as well. After she was done with my brows, she walked me to the front desk and thanked me. She was very professional the entire time I was with her.

I plan on going back to her from today on. If you stop in here, I would highly recommend Tracy.

Friends recommended Anastasia to me when I first moved to LA in 2006. I recently switched to a doctor right next to their salon, and thought - this must be eyebrow fate! I'll make an appointment!

    Wrong.

While waiting for my appointment (remember, I had never been there before), the desk staff was more interested in talking among themselves than checking me in. When my brow-specialist was ready, they pointed to a hallway, where I then had to poke my head around each room to try to find a woman I had never met. No service.

Then, for the actual waxing, I had to lay down on my back, and the woman only looked at me from upside down. I have been to good brow stylists before, and they make sure they see you from all angles of the face as they are shaping. At the end, I was left with an undesirable result, and some strange orange'ish brow make-up application that I promptly removed in the bathroom.

After that, I returned to my regular, reliable, and excellent previous brow specialist: Karen Scott. Check her out. I never should have wandered.

This star is just for the front desk person who basically accused me of browing and dashing (I was literally right outside the door waiting for my sister, so obviously quite the criminal mastermind.) I also believe she was the one who failed to enter appointments correctly earlier that week, because she's new and this has NEVER happened before. First, my sister cancelled an original appointment last week and scheduled two appointments for the following Saturday afternoon (yesterday). Not only did they not have the appointments, the original appointment was still in their calendar. I've been going to the salon for eyebrow shaping for a year and a half and my sister has been going there for 5 or 6 years.

Because there were no appointments down, we decided to just put ourselves down as walk-ins. I went first, took my ticket to one of the women who's worked there quite a while and has always been sweet and helpful to me. She asked if I'd like my receipt and I said no (mistake). I went to stand outside, because it was so crowded and my sister was just going to pay. Well, the new girl decided because I had put both of our names in, she had to verify that I had paid. Um, hello, you aren't the only person behind the desk accepting payment!

She made my sister call me back in and ask me if I had paid. I'd been VERY patient (saint-like) with her through this whole thing. I hate when people are mean to new people, because we've all been there right? This girl is not cut out for front desk/customer service work at all. I told her I'd paid the person next to her and she interrupts her co-worker mid-sentence to ask if I paid. She gave her a flustered look and a pointed "Yes." (As in, how embarrassing are you? Of course she paid.) I just said, "Can I go now?" and gave her a nice eyeroll as I walked out. Needless to say, my sister gave her some well-deserved 'tude.

Like I said, this experience in no way reflects on my experience with the person who shapes my brows (she's phenomenal) or the other front desk staff, but being accused of stealing when I'm an honest hardworking person and this is one of my only true luxuries?? That's not okay.

Today was my first experience in LA getting any sort of salon service done, and boy, am I happy I went to Anastasia!  I was very attached to my waxer back home, but after searching many options here in the city, I was so glad I chose Anastasia.  After reading reviews from my fellow Yelpers, I chose to go to Tracy for a brow wax.  She gave me a detailed consultation and walked me through step-by-step exactly what she would do.  After many lovely compliments on the status of my brows pre-wax, I was very comfortable in her hands!  She gave me the most beautiful set of brows that will be very easy to maintain between appointments.  Can't wait to go back and see Tracy!

As someone with really bushy Italian eye-brows, I've spent years trying to find the best place to make my brows look perfect. Anastasia's brow specialists have all been trained to the max. I love Katie. She is the best brow specialist ever. Also, my mom has no eyebrows and swears by their stencils. Fantastic for the brow-full and the brow-less.

The only place in the world I'd go for bye eyebrows, Tracy is the best! Not only does she give me great looking eyebrows customized to my face, we also have the best talks. I like how she (and every other girl who works there) takes her time, like REALLY takes her time. Whenever I go in for my eyebrows I know to set aside 40 minutes and thats without waiting time. They also have an espresso machine you can use (really good coffee) and Anastasia water bottle, I always grab both before I go. :)

The price is not that bad - 45. really, you get what you pay for and even though it's a bit pricey, I feel so at home here I actually have those $45 budgeted every month along with utilities and the like ;) yes i know very LA, but if a service is worth it, I'll go out of my way in order to receive it!

OK, so i just called to make my first appt at the salon with Anastasia on a Saturday. She doesn't have anything at all for this year. YIKES! The woman who answered the phone suggested being a walk-in on Oct 8th since that's when she will be back in the country.

I asked what the fee was $125 for the first visit and $85 every visit after that...I love my brows...that's as much as my hair cut and color! Of course I am going to go as a walk in and probably wait forEVER but I have go to try it, my eyebrows are a hot mess after the last threading visit in an Indian spice shop.

I have had threading, waxing, tweeezing *please do yourself a favor...don't say plucked...chickens get plucked woman get tweezed : \
from Indians, Vietnamese, Hispanics from Torrence to Ventura county...I will be back on YELP after October 8th to let you know how it goes...I am sure she will do a great job...but will she be able to teach me how to maintain my brows after the visit is the bigger question...like a hairdresser can give a good cut/color but takes talent to actually teach you how to style your own hair...

NOTE: I'll give my true rating once I see her (walk-in)

Simply put, this place is incredible and the only salon that will ever wax my eyebrows again as long as I'm living in LA. I've been getting brow waxing for over 20 years in three states and probably have been to over a hundred salons. The list includes 5-star hotels, day spas, and other note-worthy places you would look for when you want it done right.

I've been living in LA 2 years and been coming to Anastasia about once every two-three weeks. So after at least two dozen consistently good visits and finally getting a yelp account, I decided to give them a review.

Every single time I have gone anywhere else (due to being out of town or not being able to make it up there) something has gone wrong and the talented technicians at Anastasia's had to fix others mistakes.

I have never walked out of there in pain, with peeled skin, or red blotches (Stuff that has happened at other places).

The first few times I came here, I just took whoever was available and have probably been rotated through most of their brow techs. They are all good. Nothing wrong with any of them, but after a few visits I found my favorite -- Alex. When she's not in, I ask for Katie. Both are equally as good, but I just like to stick with the same person when possible.

Their entire staff is quick, courteous, and professional. Nowadays I make appointments, but even when I forget, there's never a problem getting squeezed in at the last minute or just walking in if I happen to be roaming around Beverly Hills.

Hello burly brow men and ladies.  THIS is THE place to get your brows done.  She's amazing and she is the only one who has ever been allowed to wax me. EVER.
I have a hard time letting anyone come near me with needles or wax, so when I finally find someone who is talented enough to not make me squirm, I become very faithful.
    It's worth every dime.

I had my very first appointment with Anastasia this morning.  Wow Wow Wow is all I could say.  She told me I had been over plucking and showed me where I should let my brow start growing out.  I had no idea, I actually thought my eyebrows were too bushy!  She waxed and cleaned up my brows, filling in the parts where it should have been fuller.  I bought her brow kit with the stencils and the powder so I could recreate what she did at home.  I couldn't stop flipping down the mirror in my car and admiring them on the way home.

She isn't cheap but she is worth EVERY penny.  There is a reason all the stars go to her, because she knows what she's doing.  She's an artist.  And she basically gave me a lesson on how to make my face look a million times better.

My boyfriend even remarked "your eyes look so pretty today".  And my two close girlfriends are already making their first appointment with Anastasia next week.

If you're debating on wether or not to splurge and see her, DO IT!

The only place I'd trust with my brows and Tracy is the BEST!! She is very nice and makes sure that your brows are just right. I love coming here and find it to be a very relaxing experience. I sometimes even fall asleep in the chair!! I have been getting waxed for a very long time and was fortunate to have a mom who instilled in me the importance of good beauty habits. Also had a wonderful esthetician growing up so when I moved to LA I was very skeptical about trusting anyone with my brows. I'm glad that Anastasia has trained her girls well and this salon is worth every penny!

The Best Brows by Tracy Taylor! I loooooove her! I've been seeing Tracy for my monthly brow wax for years. I will never go to anyone but her! Brow wax is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for! Tracy has a genuine personality and very down-to-earth. She even shows me how to use products, different looks with powder or wax pencils. The reception staff are very friendly & are efficient. Appointments are strongly suggested because it can get hectic if you walk in without one. Parking is very easy to find. There's a lot across the street and it's free for an hour. There's also metered parking on the street or a metered lot on Santa Monica and Bedford.

Upper crusty Beverly Hills Salon that's made good servicing the famous and not so famous eyebrows for shaping and general maintenance.

Their eyebrow kits are really nice and worth every penny. ($65 for small and $85 for large). You can also get them on line.

Michelle treated me really well and didn't try to oversell me on products. She showed me how to use the stencils and which color was best for me.

I recommend getting your brows done once at Anastasia salon then keeping them up on your own with the kit since it comes with four different stencils to show you where brow placement should be (depending on brow shape), brow gel, tweezers, cream for soothing just plucked areas, two tones of brow powder, brow brush and under brow highlighter pencil. Definitely creates a finished look.

**MY TIP: Parking is free for the first hour in the lot around the corner on Camden. You should be in and out in less than 40 minutes if you go in the afternoon between 2-4 pm.

This place is a joke.  I tried this place once. I couldn't get in to see Anastasia and the front desk, I will use the term lightly, ladies were very unhelpful. Oh, excuse me. Did I call to make an appointment at a bad time? Am I interrupting your latte and gossip session? I should have known better than to come to this place after the rudeness I received at the front desk.

The receptionists, who behave as if they have a PhD in astrophysics and I should be in awe of their minimum wage earnings, left a bad taste in my mouth. I actually decided to be overly nice and smiley toward them. I knew this really annoyed them even more that I wasn't intimidated. That was kinda fun... I mean.. come on.. you are a receptionist...

My brow technician was not very good. She made my brows too thin and did a really over all crappy job. I do not have sensitive skin and my skin was red and blotchy after I left. This never has happened to me anywhere else unless I was burned. So, over all... Blah.

Been going here a while, and have had my brows done by half the people who work there including...Anastasia herself!

This isn't the place to go for 'Pamela Anderson and Fergie" brows.
At Anastasia, it's about having a fuller, more natural brow... shaped by artists. The ladies here, take pride in their artistry where each and every hair tweezed with careful planning and precision.

Seriously, Anastasia told me once to let "A" particular brow hair grow in a  certain area which would assist in creating a better arch. Her words, "Every hair counts".

Anastasia is so overbooked that when I showed up for my appt. she already had 5 people waiting, and if a celebrity or VIP shows up...Ur appt. get's bumped, and bumped, and bumped into oblivion, and when u finally get to her...she rushes through you in 5 minutes.

Just book with someone else. Her artists do a better job than she did on me, honestly.

They take walk'in's in the A.M. and early afternoons. You can't go wrong with seeing any random artist there. They all do a great job.

btw...they came out with a "Brow Pen", sort of a marker that paints on individual hairs...it's a must have in an L.A. women's arsenal of beauty supplies.

It's the only place to go, I look upon all other places with a...furrowed brow.

After reading great reviews about Anastasia and seeing her on the Oprah show, I've decided to make an appointment with her, and waited 3 months for it.

As I was waiting for Anastasia, one of the sales girl showed me products they carry, and  told me that she uses the high arch stencil, the same one Ananstasia applied on me as well, and I'm suspecting 98% of her customers fall into the 'high arch' eye brow catagory.

The entire 'painful'(from the hot wax) experience lasted for less than 10 minutes, and coasted me $85 with tip. I was expecting a 'life changing' experience, like the other reviewers raved. Instead, I went in feeling like a 6, and got out feeling like a 5 minus the $85. A BIG disappointment for me indeed!!

Who knew a pro tweak on the brows could be so powerful!!

There's a reason for all of the hype that surrounds this eyebrow guru to the stars and us ordinary folk! For one, with a few tweaks and a wax strip here and there this place can take you from an otherwise 3 to a hot to trot 8 1/2 in one visit. They are the true eyebrow masters here and you can't believe your eyes could look so good.

I usually go to Kim, since Anastasia herself is a good 2 month wait, which is just ridiculous, but there are about 7 people here that will give you the great arched look as well.

The place is often really busy with pampered Bev Hills princesses and trophy wives, but as long as you make an appointment in advance then you are usually in and out within a half hour.

It's not cheap at $35ish+tip for the set, but if you want to get a perfect eyebrow job this is the place to go. Plus you can always go and get your basic structure done and then go cheaper from there, but every time I stray, I kick myself because they never look as fabulous!

I was sitting in the waiting area right next to the door while I overheard the following conversation between the eyebrow stylist and her 15 year old client and her mother.

Girl: "I'm nervous. I've never gotten my eyebrows waxed before."
Mom: "Don't worry sweetie, it'll be fine."
Stylist: "Okay, sit down right here." (Proceeds to put hot wax on and PULL) "Let me get you a tissue."
Girl: (Wipes her eyes with tissue) "OMG"
Stylist: "Yeah... I don't feel bad for you because you're going to look fabulous."

And she did look great. My roomie Cindy M. gave me a gift card to Anastasia for my birthday last year. I've been going back every 6-8 week ever since. I'm hooked. They are phenomenal!!! I have Victoria style my brows every time I go in. She's such a sweetheart. Love, love, love her!!!
They do really great work. Totally worth going to, although it is on the more expensive side. It's $45 to get your eyebrows done. I usually give a $5 tip. If you choose to have Anastasia herself to do your eyebrows, that will set you back $80. Plus you would probably have to make an appointment 3 weeks in advance. Totally not necessary.

My first inpression of the salon is "Wow, this place is so clean." The salon is very tidy and the layout is very simple. There's about 8 stations you can see and a slightly hidden one that belongs to Anastasia on the left. There are tons of celebrity autographed pictures and headshots on the walls. They sale stencils and eyebrow kits as well as a bunch of other skincare products. I've never gotten it done before, but I guess they do facials too.

It's really easy to get to. There's a parking garage right next to it. You have to pay for that lot though. I always choose to park at the garage across the street. First hour is free there. It usually takes about 20 minutes if you make an appointment. I've always made one so I don't know how long it takes if you do a walk-in.

I don't know what I'd do when I move to New York and can't go back regularly. I'll definitely have to invest in their stencils.

Ever since I first had my eyebrows waxed (flashback to the terrible middle school awkward phase) I have always thought waxing was waxing - just take some bee secretion and a popsicle stick, right? WRONG. The technicians at Anastasia's show you that your brow can have a natural beautiful shape. Who knew?

I went in for a walk-in on Friday afternoon, and sat outside to wait in the warm sunshine for about fifteen minutes.  As soon as Katie had finished with her previous appointment, she greeted and guided me back into the salon chair/ chaise that bent all the way back so she could work directly above me, much like a surgeon on her patient.

Waxing doesn't really define what she did. I mean, yes, I felt a few tiny lines of wax being carefully applied and stripped off; however, most of the time was spent shaping my brows back into a natural arch, whether by lightly tweezing, or maneuvering by some type of brow brush.

Once she exclaimed "All done!" and held the mirror up for me to see, I almost didn't recognize myself. My brows were the fledgling makings of Vogue eyebrows. At least, you might have found them midway through the magazine, definitely not cover page material...yet. She even showed me where I needed to let my brows grow in a bit, to even them out.

At $45 dollars, Anastasia's is pricey, but the result is completely worth every penny. Gone are the days when I put my brows in the hands of my nail salon, I'll be leaving them to the brow-makers at Anastasia's.

Tip: Don't waste your time looking for street parking, you can park for one hour free right across the street on Bedford.

Okay, so I have had thick eyebrows practically all my life. It was while I was watching the style network when the "world renown" Anastasia was on talking about how to create the proper eyebrow shape. I thought, omygosh I have to see this woman- she can finally make me feel confident and happy with my brows! So I found out online that she has her own business, I called and booked like three months ahead of time- and was willing to pay serious cash for great looking brows. So, three months pass- I get to the place - it's nice and what you'd expect a Beverly Hills salon to look like (kinda small though). I waited approx. an hour for her, she spent a great amount of time on especially one particular client- annoyed yet hopeful that she'd be worth the wait- I waited and waited.

Finally, when it came time to do my brows, it took her a total of...five minutes (no joke). She gave  me no friendly smile (till the end when she realized how unhappy I was with the brows) I was expecting - oh, I don't know, nice brows- and what I ended up with were two soso brows. Now, I'm not so picky and crazy about the PERFECT brows but come on- seriously if I wanted soso results- I would have just gone and had them done at some local shop for 8 bucks! I spent 73 bucks!

...Unless if you're someone of "importance" I suppose- she doesn't care too much about your brows- but I could be wrong- she could have had a bad day. However, she rushed through my brows- and they certainly weren't worth the wait or the money.

    Never going back there.

I have been going for years.  I started with Jeffery back in 2001, and I've never seen Anastasia, but why do I need to when Cora does such a great job?  I still miss Jeffrey, but Cora makes my eyebrows look amazing.  Yes, it is expensive (considering I fly in from NYC) but I'll go for a month  with bushy eyebrows, just to have them be be shaped by Cora.

I have an ok salon here in NYC to do tidying etc, but having that perfect arch makes all the difference. (I don't like the Sephora versions of the salon, for me, BH is the one and only)

The people are nice, professional and you are in and out of there in a flash if you show up at opening time.  It does get busy, so try to go on the off hours.

I've been going to Anastasia for years...maybe ten?

Listen, of course she's wonderful, you dance out of there feeling 10 pounds lighter (in the face) and ten years fresher....do I dare say "younger"? Well...prettier!

    1. I consider it silly to book an appointment and wait months. I never have.  I suggest choosing off hours, and/or be willing to stop in to get on her wait list and then go to lunch, go shopping. YELPing buddies, we're talking the heart of Beverly Hills here. It's not as though there's nothing to do or that the area's so shady you have to quiver in your car.

    2. Raya does wonderful facials. I've booked with her before while awaiting Anastasia. My skin looked incredible.

    3. Maybe Jasmine and my eyebrows just aren't a match. I made the error of asking her to do my brows rather than Anastasia....once. I walked out looking evil. Anastasia's exact words to me the next time I saw her was, "What happened to you? Who did that to your brows?"

I can't vouch for the stencil kit. My father was a psychiatrist and kept his office in our home. One patient used to stencil on her brows....it's taken me years to repress the visual!

I went here steadily for the last year.  While they say all staff are trained by Anastasia, that does not mean they are all equally skilled.  I had my beautiful brows (by Anastasia) destroyed by one of her employees.  If you want an appt. with Anastasia good luck, I waited 6 months and the day of my appt. had to wait and addl 30  minutes as I got bumped by Ryan Seacrest.  She does do walk ins on certain days, but be prepared  to wait all day in Beverly Hills. Last time I waited 5 hours for a walk in with Anastaisa.  She does a good job, but she is just not nice at all. Overall nice brows, but you can get them just as nice for A LOT cheaper elsewhere.  This place is about Beverly Hills for the sake of Beverly Hills.

    PS- Nathan's wife, not Nathan

Anastasia is the best of the best , the creme de la creme, the chocolate to my peanut butter.   I am willing to drive for 5 hours to get my eyebrows "did" here.
Yes, Oprah and other celebs have given this place a lot of hype, but they still let regular old people in as well.  Trust me, *you won't be disappointed.* You'll never try to do the job yourself again, or go to one of these places where they have no idea what they are doing.  I've heard HORROR stories about these places and they are not ALL dives. I even heard about one lady that came out with one eyebrow less after going to an upscale Spa in San Francisco which I won't name for legal reasons.
I heart Beverly Hills in general, but I double Heart Anastasia and will sometimes plan my trips to LA around my eyebrows.

Big thanks to the front desk.  I was late to my appointment (I only made it the day before) and they still accommodated me before the walk-ins who were already there. Yay!

While I wasn't crazy about my brows the day they were done, but I noticed a few days later (at the end of a 15 hour day) that for some strange reason I didn't look as haggard as I normally do.  Oh, the MAGIC of nicely shaped brows!

If you're just getting a brow shaping, I wouldn't worry about the technician, everyone I've seen seems to use Anastasia's stencils anyway.

One of the most amazing brow-shapers around is miss Anastasia Soare.  She is a genius (and I don't throw that word around often).  After seeing Anastasia first for my initial brow shaping, I started going to Jasmine, who I saw religiously for 4 years.

It's quick (provided you make an appointment), relatively painless, and fun (who knew waxing would be fun)!!  The Anastasia product line (which I just saw is now sold at Nordstrom), is wonderful (especially her tweezers & brow gel) and is worth the extra bucks to keep your brows looking their best!

And yes...it's a star-f*@#!rs paradise.  Everytime I went there I ran into those lovely celebrities who grace the covers of US Weekly...looking self-important in oversized shades, carrying Birkin's, weighing in under a whopping 90 lbs.

    God bless Holllywood!

Anastasia Soare is affectionately and admiringly referred to as "the definitive brow expert, the brow guru" because no one shapes and grooms brows in quite the same way. She has achieved "icon" status among Hollywood's elite and her Beverly Hills salon is a virtual temple to the perfectly arched eyebrow.

She is the top beauty maven working magic on the brows of a large and loyal celebrity clientele - including Madonna, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Osbourne, Brittany Murphy, Jennifer Lopez, Renee Zellweger, Debra Messing, Oprah Winfrey, Helen Hunt, Kim Cattrall, Reese Witherspoon, Julianna Margulies, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Kate Capshaw, Rita Wilson, Jada Pinkett Smith, Lauren Holly, Christine Lahti, Lucy Liu, Portia De Rossi, and the list goes on!

I was chatting with her and she had mentioned that J Lo doesn't come into the store anymore due to paparazzi swarming the place so she goes to J Lo for a house visit!! My closest encounter to a celeb! :))) Definitely try to get in to see Anastasia herself, u can't go wrong.....comes with a price tag but so well worth it! I'm your fan!!

My Best eye brow shaping experience, highly recommended!!

I got here at about 9:30 and got a walk in appointment with Anastasia for 11:20. I figured, if I'm going to blow all the money and go to this place, I might as well go all out and see the best! I had a while to kill so I got my manicure done in miracle mile and came back. I waited almost 40 minutes until I was seen. But, she's a really sweet lady. She took the time to walk me through everything. She did it all while I watched in the mirror. It's kind of nice that she takes the time to do this with everyone, even with her busy schedule.

Here comes the con: she's all about the make-up. I, personally, do not wear make-up on a daily basis, nor do I have the time to do so. She basically shows you what your eyebrows should look like and how you have to wear the make up every day until it finally takes the shape. Your eyebrows look amazing when you walk out but when you get home and wash off all the make up, it's a different story.

    I've had better at ziba..

There is no better place to get your brows done.  Period.  End of story.  Nationwide.  And don't use my picture as a reference, that was from one of the unfortunate occasions I could not get there.  I don't live in Southern California any longer, so it can be a challenge.

Cora is my brow crush, my brow savior.  Even after I had been scalped, hacked and butchered, she gave me my re-grow goals and did the best she could to get me back on track.  I will go a month with a thicket of growth before I let a non-Anastasia person touch them again.

If you can't get to the original mecca in Beverly Hills, try one of their brow studios (a couple of Sephoras in NYC and some Nordstroms.  Heba is good at the Sephora Times Square location).  At least they have been trained properly and won't give you Fergie-brows.

A public service message to those who may need a little brow help this week.  CLOSED - Temporarily ?!

I had to give this one star in order to post, but actually this is a no star review b/c the place is not open.

I went early on 5/25, but  SNAP! the place was boarded up (ok, papered up but give me the drama, I took a cab so I could beat the lines I imagined snaking around the corner) & there was a small sign saying the place is undergoing renovations until 6/1. anastasia, for goodness sake, where are your manners? post  sudden closings  on your website! this is the internet age,not a sign-on-the-door & a redirect to nordstom's at the grove. the reason i didnt call ahead to confirm my appointment is because i didnt have an appointment -- you take walk-ins!!! and i always assume i don't have to call places to confirm that they are in fact open.

i was fortunate enough to get a walk-in with a very talented brow wizard nearby, review forthcoming.

Please redirect yourself from this place until at least 6/1.

This place is horrible. I had my eyebrows done here by a russian/swedish girl and not only did she thin them out HORRIBLY but she actually cut of a huge chunk of brow one side leaving me with a huge 1/2 inch HOLE in my eyebrow! I literally had no hair in about half an inch in my eyebrow, it looked like I didn't have hair there due to a scar and what's worse is that she filled it in with eyebrow pencil so I didn't even notice it until I got home and actually looked in the mirror, expecting a fabulous job.

I ended up going back the next morning and showing the women what a mess this girl left me in, and they apologized, returned my money, and gave me an eyebrow pencil to fill it in. Needless to say, they didn't seem too surprised (and by judging the other reviews for this place, I'm not the only one with problems here).

Never again. I'm sticking to my little sweet asian lady in Reseda! She's amazing :)
