This place is amazing. I have gotten my eyebrows done by Meghan for a year or two now and I keep coming back to her because she is the best! She will comply with any request you make and will check with you periodically to make sure you get what you want.
I've also tried the two ladies that work beside Meghan on that side of the salon and their work is very good too. I stick to Meghan because I'm a loyal customer. There are new artists in the salon who seem to be doing pretty well too... I've never seen anyone walk out disappointed. -

To be honest its the only threading place I know in Miami. I am sure if I yelped a bit I would find more and closer to my house. But for now I am good with this place. I got hooked onto threading randomly while I was visiting NYC over a year ago. Since then I have had it in the back of my mind but continued to get my eyebrows waxed for $12 + tip.
When I heard that this place did it I decided to stop on by before I went into the mall. Its only $10 and they give you a frequent customer card so you can accumulate a free service! It was quicker than when I get my brows waxed, just in and out!
Its small but clean and so busy! There is a girl there who is in very high demand and you have to make an appt or wait a long time for her! If you arent picky there is usually someone available right after you get in and they can take care of you as well. I havent had any complaints so far and I would keep going until I find a good one closer to me. -

This place is hit or miss. I have been there about 4 times and my wife has been there over a dozen times. She likes one of the women there but the other ladies some are O.K. and some are not so good.
The price is inexpensive. I also do not like how they accept credit cards yet you have to pay the tip in cash.
Sometimes when I tell them I don't like the way they shaped my brows they seem to get an attitude like I don't know what I'm talking about. One time I went and they made the brows look like I used a magic marker to color them in; remember I'm a guy, I don't need brows to look feminine or "done" I just want them to look natural and clean, and not bushy. -

i was visiting my parents down in hollywood, florida, and i needed my brows done - badly. being an indian woman who is SUPER PARTICULAR about her eyebrows and coming from nyc, where i have tons of fantastic options for $8-10, i was concerned about my options in south florida.
thanks to yelp, i found this place and im glad i did. THANKS YELP!
this place is small, in an "outdoor mall", and could be easy to miss. no frills, just a sitting area, cashier and a few service chairs.
i'm making the assumption that my threader's name is simky, since all the certificates around her chair had that name. she was fantastic. slower than what im used to but much more meticulous. i am very happy with the job she did on my eyebrows. there were a few people in line for shabana who is also mentioned in the reviews below, but i was perfectly satisfied with my lady. she crafted a beautiful shape. she was very sweet, too.
i didn't make an appointment (went in on a thursday around 6p), but while i was waiting, i heard the cashier on the phone who told a caller they were completely booked the next day (friday) and that the caller would have to come the next week. there are signs, too, that say to expect a wait if you didn't make an appointment. so theres that.
cost: $10 without tip.
next time i need brows done while visiting my folks, im coming here. for sure. -

When my sister suggested we go here to get our eyebrows threaded I thought, "Isn't that a bit far to go for your eyebrows?" I went along with her though and I'm not sorry that I did. Although my review is solely based on the eyebrow threading I can honestly say that I wouldn't be opposed to going back for their other services. Simky is an eyebrow artist!!!!!! I don't trust my eyebrows to just anyone but this little place has won me over!

I've been going to Anakarli in Pembroke Pines for about 3 years but I had to visit this location yesterday because my favorite eyebrow tech, Farheen, works primarily at this location. I've gone to to other techs in the past but they never get it quite right like she can. We've been working on getting my brows to fill in and we're finally there :-) Please note that it is not any of her doing why it took 3 years to fill in. My hair just takes forever and ever AMEN to grow so don't judge her based on that lol She's super sweet and gives you a few recommendations on what you should do with your brows concerning the shape. She also makes sure to clean me up afterwards so that I don't break out later which has happened before in the past.
I called before getting there to see if there was any wait for her and they told me she was open so I rushed on over! This is a rare occurence so I suggest calling and making an appointment a day or two before once you determine who your technician is. Walk-ins are welcome but I've had an instance or two where I had to wait 45-60 minutes for someone to fit me in due to them being booked up with their appointments.
I certainly prefer this Aventura location because it is smaller, more intimate, and very clean compared to the Pembroke Pines location. The energy was much better too!!! The technicians were upbeat, they had some good music playing and it was just an overall great experience! Eyebrows are $10 so you can't beat that price at all! Make sure to bring cash to tip your technician because you cannot put the tip on your credit card.
All in all, I'll be sticking with my Farheen at the Aventura location. It's worth the drive and gives me an excuse to visit the Aventura Mall too!
Side note: The male receptionist at the front needs to smile a bit! He looked so depressed yesterday, like it was the last place in the world he wanted to be! It's always a plus when your receptionist is upbeat and personable. Just a little tip :-) -

I actually made an appointment this time, and ended up being seen waaay after the time. No one even bothered looking at the appointment book.
I also really cannot STAND the attitude of the owner/manager/whoever. She has red hair and doesn't even do eyebrows. Just stands around barking orders, gossiping, and bitching around. Why doesn't she pick up a thread, shut up, and help out instead?
The employees also have been slacking in quality of work.

This is the place to get your eyebrows in check! Make sure you ask for Megan, going with anyone else is a gamble. I am used to walking in and not making appointments here, but lately, there have been so many people here.
I won't give them the extra 2 stars since the evil red headed lady works there. She is so rude. I had already paid with my credit card and I handed her a $20 and said give me change so I could tip. She handed me back 2 $5 bills, and I said where is the other $10?!?! She rudely and curtly said, "Oh didn't you give me a $10? Are you sure?" What a crazy lady!
But if you're lucky, the younger and nice cashier will be working (she always wears a pony tail) and she knows how to run things a lot smoother. -

I went here because I've been looking for a good place to get my eyebrows threaded. After hearing my mother tell me the damages that wax does to your skin, I decided to switch over to threading, not knowing how painful it would be. Anyways, I called in to book an appointment with Shavana (I'm not too sure how you spell her name) and she was extremely nice. I told her exactly how I wanted my brows to look like, and I guess there was a sort of communication probem because I ended up with thin brows, but the overall shape was fantastic. I decided not to get upset because I can just fill them in with brow powder until they grow back. I actually enjoyed this place, and I'm for sure coming back but only when my brows are back to their usually thickness.

only $10 to perfectly threaded brows. Jessica did mine and took all of 10 minutes.. they came out perfectly! not too thin and very neat. just remember when you go they take credit or debit cards but not cash (only for tipping).
threading for me is better than waxing especially if you're the sensitive type..my skin never reacted well with wax so this is the perfect alternative. it is a little painful but not any worse than waxing. just takes some getting used to. -

i started going to anarkali while i was living nearby, and i loved the place... then i moved out west, and stopped going because it was too far... i tried a couple of places that ruined my eyebrows, and quickly decided that the drive to anarkali was DEFINITELY worth it... my girl Simky knows what's up! my eyebrows ROCK when come out of there... they play fun music, the service is great, and it's nice and clean...you can make an appointment, or walk in... and the wait isn't typically too bad.... if you want a good threading salon, i say go to anarkali, even if you have to go a little out of your way!

I gave this place another shot in desperation, but it took 3 attempts to make it happen. I have two jobs and a young baby; I need a place I can come to when I get a rare few minutes to treat myself to some grooming and I never know in advance when that will be. This is definitely NOT that place. First appointment, I had cancel because my window shifted to 30 minutes earlier and they couldn't change my appointment. The second appointment I also had to cancel for a similar reason.
Finally made it on the third attempt and was in and out in a fair amount of time. I had Megan and she was good enough. She took a little too much off one tip making my eyebrows uneven and when I asked her about it she said it "was only a little". Yeah, only a little...that makes it better. Anyway, besides that they look nice.
This is definitely not the place for me. Walking in is not an acceptable alternative since you're likely to be there at least an hour waiting (don't believe them when they tell you it won't take that long).1 Previous Review: Show all »

I've been coming to Anarkali for a while, before they even set up the Aventura store. They originally had one in Bay Harbor. I only let Aridia or Simki touch my eyebrows, they are pros at what they do. Simki usually does my upper lip, side burns, chin, etc. They are all incredible.
Also, some tips -
Make an appointment, if not you'll be waiting for a VERY long time. Could be up to an hour.
Also, tips are only in cash. -

I went here and got my eyebrows threaded today. I had a 10:30 appointment and, unfortunately the eyebrow tech was running late and I was advised to come in about an hour later. I did and I was fit right in. The eyebrow tech was pleasant and she listened to my instructions-keep my eyebrows thick! It took less than 10 minutes. They look great.
Things to remember:
1. Make an appointment or you'll be waiting for quite some time! Walk-ins are fit in around those with appointments.
2. Cash-only for tips. If you forget, you'll be headed to Publix nearby :-)
If this is your first time visiting, park near Sprint. It's south of the Sprint store, at one of the interior storefront locations. -

I was curious about threading since I had heard so many wonderful things about it. My first experience was Anarkali, it was fast but painful since they are removing hair quite quickly. Simka did my brows and they were perfect. They did quite a first impression on me! I've been going back ever since!
$10 for eyebrows, if you get your full face it's $28 plus the price of the eyebrows. -

This too shall pass. They're just eyebrows, right? Very wrong. Eyebrows frame the face and offer added beauty to any woman. Therefore, I am not entirely pleased with my very first threading experience because despite informing the "threader" that I desired my eyebrows to remain thick, they were purposely thinned out and I was left with a third of the eyebrows I walked in there with. If you desire a shapely pencil thin arch, this is your threading salon. Personally, I loathe the pencil brow look, it's unnatural and just plain scary. Well thankfully, my eyebrows should be back before Christmas, I will just be a hairy monster as I wait with earnest anticipation of the return of the brows.
On the bright side, I have found an alternative to waxing my eyebrows which does run the risk of burning of my skin or future eyebrow sagging. I loved how cheap it was to have such a meticulous service done-$10 (WOW). I'm guessing it's so cheap because women are constantly in and out of this place faster than you can blink. Usually I pay $18 for my eyebrows to be waxed, so I don't mind paying a bit more for my eyebrows especially if it means I will get exactly what I desire. I had an appointment so I didn't have to wait (I'd suggest making one because this place gets busy especially on a Saturday afternoon).
Finally, I didn't experience the best in customer service, nor did I experience the worst. To be specific, I didn't feel "taken care of" I simply feel that I got a quick fix (or lack thereof) of my eyebrows. The salon is clean, but as Gina H. mentioned, it has a "temporary" feel due (in part) to the nearly empty display cases. While I will not wax my eyebrows again in the foreseeable future, I may not trust my precious eyebrows to Anarkali in the foreseeable future either because unfortunately with beauty services, you only get one shot with this "inspired yelper". So, onward in my search for the next threading salon...I have plenty of time to find one. -

I always get my eyebrows waxed but after some skepticism from my sis I switched to threading as though it is painful, it is a better end result.
You cant beat $10 to fix eyebrows. The wait is never long and the staff is pleasant and very well aware of what would be best for your eyebrows. Painful yes, but worth the tears. -

So here's what I experienced.
Never was a fan of tweezing, nor waxing and was blessed when younger with great brows that needed neither. Roll on the years and things just aren't the same as they were before so I've been waxing and tweezing only as necessary so after realizing I was seriously overdue I made plans to come here. Of course, life gets in the way and all my lunchtime plans would go awry, so Friday last I was blessed with getting let off work an hour early and decided to use my unexpected bonus time wisely.
Parked in the back parking lot beside Publix no problem. Walked into the mall along by Prezzos and there it was in front of me. So that's a good guide of where to park.
There are three chairs and a young lady behind the counter who, while not unfriendly, was surly. Two of the chairs were filled and I sat intrigued by the technique which looked so simple yet so intricate.
The salon could use some TLC. Judging by Ivonne Marie's review, they have been open since May and really, it looks like they just opened this week. There is a display case at the counter where you pay which is empty and gives the space a temporary feel.
My turn came and I slid into the seat and told the young lady that I've never had threading done before and wasn't sure what to expect. "Oh you'll love it." Now in hindsight, I realize she never asked me what shape I was aiming for. I totally hate the skinny eyebrow look because there are a couple of people I am acquainted with who actually draw their brows on with pencil. And I would have appreciated a little "consultation" beforehand.
I was so surprised when she started at the lack of any level of pain. It was a tad tickly but none of that burn or irritation after waxing. And i had absolutely no after effects. I could have gone straight to dinner because there was no redness or irritation.
Yes, I will be back because I love the naturalness of it and at $10 for both brows...holy crap...I couldn't believe the prices.
I'm sold but they need to decide whether they are staying or going and do something with the bleak decor and have some smiley people out front :) -

Thanks to Anarkali Salon I've officially converted to eyebrow threading. Years ago I was told how "painful" it is, but if you're ok with hot wax on your face and having it yanked, this is nothing on the pain scale. Plus, I've had the misfortune of having skin pulled off with the max. Ladies, you know the drill.
So, being that this place is right in the same plaza as many of the Aventura "staples" I figured I'd give it a whirl. There's no need for an appointment, you just walk right in. Both times I've been taken care of immediately - and it only takes about 5 minutes (or less). Plus the cost is really reasonable. (Costs about $10 for eyebrows)
The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because of the attitude of some of the workers. I understand this job may not be super exciting, but they could at least smile once in a while. However, considering I love the end result I will continue to keep coming back. -

I waited 45 mins but it was worth it and my eyebrows came out really nice. So, I will be coming here from now on ... with an appt that it 8)

As with my other review for Anarkali - I thread my eyebrows rather than put hot wax on my face - you never know what will happen when you put something hot so close to your eyes, and I'd rather not find out.
After going to the Pembroke Pines location for about a year, I was super excited to find out that they opened a salon closer to my place.
The girl that was taking care of the clients was super nice, and did a great job w/my eyebrows - not too thin, leave the shape! The guy who charged me was also very nice. Both were very friendly, chit chatting and talking with me as though I had been their client for years. Definitely made me feel welcomed. I wrote both their names but don't have the paper with me, so I'll edit the review later with their names.
They loose a star because the shop had a broken a/c.. it was being fixed, but it was still crazy hot in there. I would have definitely brought in a fan for the customers, if not for them too, who I am sure were also suffering the heat. I look forward to upgrading the star rating when I return next month.
Pricing - super cheap! You're supposed to do threading every two weeks, me I do it once a month. But their pricing is definitely budget friendly that twice a month won't even throw you off.Listed in: De-Virginized, Professional Services, Pampering

If it wasn't for Yelp I would have never known you existed. For this I must say Thank You Yelp!!
I called ahead to see if they were busy and lucky for me they weren't. When I entered the store I was greeted by a cheerful young lady at the counter. She asked me to sign in and told me to take a seat and I would be called momentarily. I thought it was a cute little space...nothing overly extravagant. It had an Indian feel to it and it was brightly decorated yet functional. There was a TV on the wall playing Bollywood favorites to keep you entertained while you wait.
When it was my turn to get threaded the lady asked what kind of shape I wanted. I explained my brow preference and shortly thereafter she was threading away. I was amazed at how quickly it went and how precise it was. With waxing you're SOL if they remove too much. With threading you can see the work in process and determine how much you want removed mid-thread.
I am beyond pleased with my results and will be back often. You can't knock great brows in under 5 minutes for $10.

The best threading in South Florida, they started in Pembroke Pines and they are slowly expanding, with currently 3-4 locations including Aventura for the last 3 months.
All the girls are trained and certified by Tania, they ALL do as good as a job as Tania. My eyebrows couldn't be any more perfect.
I'm glad they opened this location closer to me. -

I absolutely love this place. I went by there today to get my eyebrows done and it wasn't busy. I signed in and was quickly served.
I told her that this was my first time and she explained what to expect and put me at ease.
There is some pain, similar to waxing. But I can't really describe it. Perhaps I would compare it to getting a tattoo, not the same intensity but the irritation of something going over your skin.
I love my brows and will definitely will be back about 2 weeks.
No more waxing for me -

I used to be a slave to eyebrow waxing - every two weeks like clockwork! But, since I was introduced to Anarkali I haven't left. This place is AMAZING. The wait is never too long and the girls at the salon are very welcoming and knowledgeable.
Of course threadng hurts a little, but pain doesn't last always, you'll quickly get over it once you see how great your eyebrows look. You'll feel even better knowing that it's only $10, which is a steal compared to the $16 brow waxes I used to get. -

I read about this place on yelp, after my eyebrow lady, who I had been using since I was 15 moved away. I was very apprehensive about letting anyone else touch my eyebrows, but I decided I would give it a shot.
Anarkali Salon is truly amazing! They shaped my eyebrows perfectly and all for $10 dollars. I go every 2 weeks. There usually isn't much of a wait, and when there is it's never more than 15 minutes. I would say the place can't be beat. -

Ditto on Yelp! Thank you Yelp and fellow Yelpers for helping me find this place! I was a bit hesitant but i got to say, my eyebrows came out great. I walked right in, was taken care of within 5 minutes and walked out happy. The only regret is that i didnt ask for the girl's name but i will be back..for sure!
P.S: It is a little trick to find---park by the sprint and walk into the shopping center and make an immediate left. -

This was my 1st time getting my eyebrows threaded...and it wasnt that bad... They did an awesome job! My eyebrows never looked better. The service was fast and the staff was very friendly and experienced. They only accept credit cards but bring cash to tip. It cost me $10.

once upon a time in a far away land (aventura) there was a salon dedicated to shaping beautiful brows. anarkali is the name & eyebrow threading is their game. if you want perfectly shaped brows, this is the place.
stop waxing with recycled wax & stop yanking your precious skin- who wants to have saggy eyelids? not me!
i drive a long distance to come here, but i love the outcome and i won't go anywhere else. when i like a place i'll drive to it no matter the distance.
$10 + 5 minutes of your life = awesome eyebrows! -

Thanks to the fabulous elite Tania R, I got my eyebrows threaded for the first time today at this location. Instead of having my eyebrows waxed with recycled wax like most salons do, my eyebrows were threaded with a new, clean, piece of thread just for me. It took no more than five minutes and I feel like a new person. The cost was just $10. Friendly service too.

I used to go to the location in Pines until I found one closer to home.
I like Megan (third chair) she doesn't disappoint and actually notices if one eyebrow is growing slower than the other.
Yes, if you don't have an appointment you will wait longer, but i don't make appointments and have not waited no more than 20mins.
Yes, payments are credit card only; tips in cash.
I don't care about those cons. Plus while you wait you watch cool Indian music videos.
The only place I trust to thread my eyebrows. -

this place is not your typical miami "beauty" spot. it's not pretentious nor luxurious (this probably explains how they keep their prices so low)

I have been threading my eyebrows for close to a year now and have tried various locations, mostly in mall kiosks. Well I can assure you that I will never be going to one of those kiosks again. The experience at this location was phenomenal and the technician was superb, she did exactly what I asked, I can guarantee that I will be coming back again and again and again!!!
