Like many others, I came here after purchasing a deal, in my case from Zowzee for a Minx pedicure.  I was overall underwhelmed with the services and atmosphere.

I arrived for my appointment and was the only customer, yet they were not set up for me.  There was a yappy little dog who rushed at me when I came in, and continued to bark loudly at passersby the entire time.  I personally did not find that to be relaxing.  Others talk of being offered wine- I was not even offered water.  As the only customer the entire time I was there, I felt like I was intruding in a way.  Awkward.

The pedicure itself was okay, but certainly not the best, or even top 10, that I have ever had.  The water was tepid, not warm- a pet peeve of mine.

The Minx itself was also underwhelming- not certain if the product itself is simply not all it's cracked up to be, or if the application was subpar.  It was billed as lasting "up to 6 weeks" and mine looked TERRIBLE by 2.  I know one toe was applied improperly, which they did offer to fix after part of it peeled off on day #1, but I didn't have time to go back in for over a week...  I removed the minx at the 2 week point and wont be trying it again.

If Ananda Salon were not so expensive I might give them another try, but for the price point and location, I expected a lot more.

I am actually drafting this review as I sit here since talking to the girl who is doing my nails would be pointless as she is only speaking to the other girl doing nails and I can't understand them. The water my feet are currently sitting in is cold. The cushions on the foot rests are cracked. Overall, my initial impression is not good. I am here because I bought a deal certificate and thought since they were located in Cherry Creek it would be a higher quality salon. I believe I was mistaken. I am sure my toes will look fine and while my voucher includes a manicure, I'm going to skip it. Back to Tootsies for me - really, they are amazing and I won't stray again. Lesson learned.

I am actually finishing this much later - and just wanted to mention that I left with polish on my toe - not kidding. Horrible.

Worst salon ever!! I bought 3 mani/pedis through urban dealights and tried to schedule with them.  In over four weeks they haven't been bothered to call me back and when I contact urban dealights to resolve the issue, UB couldn't get their attention either.  The plan was to get some relaxing salon services, instead I've wasted money, emotions, and multiple phone calls on these guys.  Stay away!  They obviously don't care about clients!!

Ended up at this salon like many others on yelp - with a sweet Groupon deal. Got a mani/pedi which was fine (nothing to write home about), and an eyebrow waxing that was relatively painless and looked really nice.

I've been back several times since to get my eyebrows done, but never for my nails. The quality of the service was good, but I'm pretty dedicated to my other nail salons.

Long story short, walk in to get your eyebrows done and you can be in and out quite quickly. If you're going to try and go on a Saturday, call ahead so you can be sure they can get you in!

I attempted to go to this salon after purchasing a groupon and found their customer service to be wanting.  I was never able to actually book with them because the person answering the phone (both times I called) spoke with a thick accent and informed me that I had to talk to a specific person in order to redeem the groupon (this was NOT mentioned in the fine print).  I left TWO phone numbers for contact and was told, on the next call, that a message was left on one (which isn't true as there was NO missed calls OR voicemails).

Perhaps this salon gives a great pedi or facial but I will never find out, nor do I want to.  If you put your company up for a special of the kind groupon offers and then act as if you really don't need the business it will bring you then you are not a salon I would ever want to spend my time or money in.

    REPLY:
"Policy" does not state appts. must be made through specific person.  If you do not have a general appointment book so a customer can schedule and come in then that is not the customers fault.

Was told by person answering phone a message was left (no call/vm/text received). Called back, expressed frustration and was told another call would be sent within the day and it WAS NOT.

LIMIT amount of groupons sold in the future, perhaps.

I will no doubt receive a bucket of cr*p for being a guy posting here, but on a spur of the moment choice brought on by wandering around 3 salons in the area trying to do something about my flyaway hair, and asking for a hot oil treatment and instead getting buckets of overpriced product pushed at me, I dropped in here for my very very very first pedi.  Yep.  A guy.  A non-metrosexual guy.  My feet have been getting abuse for years, and I honestly think at least for guys, the part of their body they don't take care of the most is their feet.  And for a stockier guy, they probably should.  I had callouses that made my feet at least partly like the pads on camel's feet.

    1) the massaging chairs you sit in there are the *high-end* models; when they hit the base of your spine, if you're a normal person, you'll just melt like butter.  It's pretty amazing.
    2) the foot soak is wonderful, antibacterial (probably a good thing), and soothing, with pretty colored lights underneath the tubs
    3) they offer you a glass of wine (you can also choose soda or water)
    4) my technician was very professional and not only trimmed my toenails and buffed the edges and tops, but also turned the soles of my feet back into human again.  They felt so soft and not gross and thick-padded at all anymore.

Most guys would never get one of these done (in my op, but I am told by the staff that lots of guys come in, even non-metrosexual ones -- course, this is Cherry Creek, too) -- but they should.  I may not get it done regularly but I was quite pleased with the service I received and will definitely be back at some point. (The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of my inability to discern what the difference would be between a 4 and 5-star pedi place).  As Natalie M mentions in her review, they do a lot of other services there as well.  And they have 3 levels of pedi service -- I got the very basic, but I think it was worth it!

After an unfortunate experience at another nail salon, I visited Ananda to mend my broken heart.  I was happy to find an outgoing nail tech, Linda, who could sympathize with my experience and offered to complete one nail before moving on to the remaining 9 to see if I approved.  My nails looked great!  I also received a wonderful pedicure from Anna, who was thorough and sweet.  The salon overall was clean, upbeat and eventful.  I will return for sure.

The only reason I rated the salon a 4 instead of 5 is because of the price.  I was happy with the service and may limit my next visit to just a manicure.

I would never known about the day spa in Cheery Creek if it hadn't have been for good ol' Groupon. I bought a coupon for $100 worth of services for $50...what a steal!

They do pedicures, manicures, facials, messages, waxing , acrylics, and hair (I'm pretty sure). The staff was very friendly and the spa was clean....a must when working with hands and feet.

They even had a small dog that greeted you when you walked it;-) Although this place is a bit far from where I live, I would surely go back for the great service and job well done. The only reason for the four star rating is that it's not as close as I would like for it to be.

I also found this place via Groupon.  I had a 45 minute facial and natural pedicure during my visit.  The young woman who performed both services was competent and considerate - she offered to trim my eyebrows at no extra charge and brought me a glass of water after the facial.  Perhaps it was a bad fit for my sensibilities but the atmosphere, the faux Asian decor and the aesthetician's technically skilled but somewhat remote approach left me feeling a bit cold.  Had I not received a 50% discount on the services with my Groupon, I probably would have been more disappointed by the vibe of the place.  But, their pedicure chair gives a rather intense massage, from shoulders to buttocks (that was quite a surprise!).
