Review from Pilar B.
Manhattan, NY
A friend and I wanted to take tango classes in preparation for our trip to Buenos Aires. Referred by a friend we found Anais and took private classes twice a week for 6 weeks before our trip.
Anais is an amazing teacher she was able to in a very short time teach us about the tango not only the steps, but the passion, style and culture that go along with it.
She taught us the basics and added on quite a few of the things that advanced dancers know. We had such a fun time with her and appreciated the warm and caring guidance and encouragment she gave us. She is a very special instructor her style and passion for Tango inspired us to work harder and master some difficult things in a very short period of time.
She also was so wonderful because she gave us special music to listen to and practice with differentiating the different styles of Tango we might encounter. She also accompanied us to our first Milongas here in NYC and helped us understand the customs associated with Tango. From her connections in the Tango world and Buenos Aires she also recommended Milongas there we should go to that were popular. It was really an incredible and wonderful experience and I will continue to study Tango with her in the future.
With the accelerated program she crafted especially for us we were prepared to take on Buenos Aires with confidence and dance with the locals. She is such a talented and inspiring teacher and made our trip very special. I highly recommend her. Thank you Anais!!! -

West New York, NJ
You just need to see one of her performances and take just one of her classes to see what a talented and lovely tango teacher Anais Haven really is... she's passionate about her dancing, classes, students and is more importantly consistent in her efforts, energy and smiles class to class, from beginning to end. She's the best, hands down :)

History
Established in 2010
It is tango's raw honesty that first attracted Anaïs and has not let her go since. Tango runs the gamut of human emotion from poignant sadness to delirious joy, from possessive jealousy to mind-numbing love. It encompasses everything that cannot be expressed with words. This passion for life and dance is present in Anaïs's classes and imbues her every performance.
Meet the Business Owner: Anaïs H.
Anaïs's dance career began early on with rigorous ballet training. Anaïs was New York Ballet's youngest soloist with roles specifically choreographed for her in Don Quixote and Les Sylphides. Two years later, Anaïs was made a soloist with the Metropolitan Opera Ballet Company. After leaving the world of professional ballet, Anaïs has been in demand as an instructor and choreographer.
Anaïs was trained by Guillermina Quiroga, Jorge Torres, and Carlos Cañedo - founder of The Tango Company with whom she has taught and performed throughout the United States. Anaïs has also taught tango to a nationwide audience on NBC's LX New York and performed at several of New York's prestigious milongas.
