If nothing else, come for the food. Best.Sopes.Ever. There is a food court and lots of selections, I don't know the name of the place I went to, but they have a huge wrap around counter and their own restaurant type seating area, there is only 1 place like this, so you can't miss it.

I went Christmas Eve and there was live Mariachi music in the 'food court'. It was phenomenal.

I have never been before, but here is what is notable ( in my opinion ) -

If you need unique/one of a kind Baptism clothes, and they are NOT easy to find, its here.

LOTS of neat hair band / barrettes / clips and stuff. I love stuff like this for my 2 year old and I hate the prices of Claires and most places

Tattoo Parlor - with a long line. Interesting.

This place shares a parking lot with Bravo night club, specializing in CUMBIA !!! I bet that is serious on the weekends.

I agree with other posters - BRING CASH. YOU NEED CASH HERE.

I would love to come back and eat again and take more time to really check this place out.

This was my first time inside this indoor swap meet.  Let me tell you it was an experience.  There was a lot of neat trinkets to check out, majority of the Hispanic affair.

I went with a couple of friends and they took me to a Mexican restaurant inside that was pretty good.  The Al Pastor tacos were yummy!  I don't know if I would go back for shopping, but I would go back for the food!

    What do you need?

    Party Decorations/Favors/music/venue?
    Toys?
    Socks?
    Quick snack/lunch?
    New hoochie outfit?
    Piercing/Tattoo?
    Bootleg movies/shirt/brands?
(Talkin' about CoUch not Coach, Luis not Louis Vuitton)
    Car Stereo?

This place has EVERYTHING! And for as cheap as you'll get it around in Orange County. Is it ghetto? Hell yeah. But you just gotta embrace it. I mean...I have. These are "my people".

If nothing else please go try out the yummy snacks! Tostilocos, and the various fruits are my fav!

I grew up in this place. No joke. My family owned a socks/lingerie store (the big one towards the main entrance) since I was 4 and we only recently sold the store about a year ago. I spent a lot of time running around the aisles, playing hide and seek in the various stores (the owners let us). I was the only Asian kid in the group of Mexican kids, haha. But to get to the point, this place has everything for a fraction of the price! People seem to think that you can only get knock-offs at swapmeets, but that's completely untrue. You can get knock-offs AND the real deal! LOL~ It's pretty easy to spot the imitations and if you end up buying one instead of the real thing, you have no one to blame but yourself. Come on. AdidOs versus Adidas.. and if the obvious doesn't slap you in the face, do you REALLY think you can get an authentic pair of Nike Dunks for $20? Be a smart shopper..

The place is fairly clean. There are workers who go around cleaning messes and spills all the time so it's not too bad compared to other swapmeets. There's no cover fee or parking fee. The guy charging for parking is charging for Sports Arena parking, not the swapmeet. I never understood that system because if you tell him you're going to the swapmeet, he just lets you through.. you'd think everyone would just lie about it, haha.

Prices are as good as they get. You'll find things here for way cheaper than at chain retailers and, of course, you can always haggle! But please, don't try to haggle a $40 item to $5. That's just annoying. I hated helping out at the store and having people haggle for ridiculous prices. Of course that's the fun of it, but after hours of the same thing.. it gets irritating.

Anyhoo, it's a fun place and if you're low on dough, shop here!

TIP: Take cash! Very few stores accept atm/credit cards and if they do, it's usually for a $20 minimum transaction. There's an ATM machine inside, but you don't want to pay those fees.. PLUS, a customer who went to get cash told me that baby cockroaches came out with the receipt. BLEH. Take cash. It's for your own good :)

I live in Anacrime and instead of loathing it, I just embrace it.  Sure...it's not Newport Beach or Irvine, but I think there's so much more culture and diversity here.  If you live in Anaheim west of the 57, you'll understand.  Costa Mesa has South Coast Plaza...and Anaheim has the Anaheim Marketplace.  And let me tell you...it's fucking amazing inside.

Just take a deep breath...and be prepared to feel overwhelmed.  Everything you need is under one roof.  Nail salons, tattoo shops, massages, barber shops, fruit stands, food courts, clothing, accessories, and even a dance floor where live bands play merengue and salsa music and people actually dance and have a good time.  The list goes on and on.  Literally...this place is the mecca for OC Mexicans and now it is on my list of best places to experience in Orange County.

I live in the area and have driven past this place a hundred times. I had no desire to go in and see what it was like. Honestly, I pictured some chaotic street market with a roof. Anyway, I have been twice now. It is pretty much what I imagined but bigger. There are a ton of vendors with all kinds of stuff. It is just fun to walk around and check things out. They do have some awesome fruit stands with good fruit and yogurt cups or chili, if you like that kind of stuff. The second time I went was to buy a pair of Chuck's (Converse). They have the real deal there and it was quite a bit cheaper than anywhere else. Take that Nordstrom Rack!!!

Oh, by the way, on weekends there is usually a person in the parking lot charging for parking. This is NOT for the Marketplace. It is for the sport center next door. You do NOT need to pay for parking to go to the Marketplace.

Today was my first visit to the marketplace. I'd never been before, but had always heard.  I had to buy everything I needed for my  nephew's baptism next Sunday, today, so my sister said that we should go here, instead of driving around to different stores all over Santa Ana and Anaheim.

First thing, don't let the size of the front of the building fool you. Although the front looks small, this place is HUGE! Every time I thought I had seen the last store, I turned the corner and found an aisle I hadn't walked down yet!

This place had everything I needed, from his baptism outfit to the "recuerdos" for the party and it cost me hundreds less than what I expected to pay.

They also have stores with every kind of mexican candy you can think of and cheap! They even have my favorite snack "Tostilocos". Every aisle has an electronics, shoes and clothing store for kids and men and Lots and I mean LOTS of stores that sold only women's clothing.

This place was crowded (LOTS of Kids running around), and I thought it was only because today is Saturday - Places are always crowded on a Saturday - but from what I heard, this place is crowded everyday.

Cell phone car charger, cover, & 2 screen protectors for $25! Free parking, lots of random shops, from jewelry to piñatas, and the aguas are delish! Came here on a Saturday and surprisingly it wasn't too crowded :-)

    blown away by this place....
not gonna lie I did not know it existed....
I usually go to Santa Fe for my swap meet needs (no entrance fee and parking was easy)
Ive been on the hunt for some Guayaberas (later story)

anyway this place is huge, prices are pretty cheap... so many things to see... did not get to walk all of it cause its huge, but I did see 2 tattoo shops (yup, you read right, tattoo shops in a swap meet, who knew)....massage stores, teeth cleaning, nail salon, hair salon, they have a huge dance floor with free salsa dancing classes, arcade room and  arcade machines on every exit, a good size food court with beer.... and an arena soccer field....

came here on a Wednesday and it was crowded I cant imagine the weekends....dont think I want to...so ill come back on a weekday im sure....

    (later story)
Ive been trying desperately to find some Guayaberas (Mexican wedding shirts, beach wedding shirts, cigar shirts, etc....)
Ive been looking for over 2 weeks for a local store that sells them... you can find them online but they are all mostly in Texas, New York, and Miami and I needed some yesterday.... so I was told about this place from the Mariachi singers in Don Joses Avilas (Santa Ana)....

went to a store in the swap meet called Almacenes Exoticos suite H 16-22.... and they had some 100% polyester which all other stores that I have been to only carry poly/cotton blends... (like Olvera st, downtown Santa Ana, Kohls, Macys I was ready to take a trip to T.J) long story short I looked to Yelp for help and not much has been posted so I hope this helps.... and if anyone knows someone locally that sells 100% linen or 100% silk Guayaberas let me know please thanks....

The Anaheim Indoor Swap Meet is a place with low prices and a great variety of merchandise. How ever the service of the vendors is terrible. My brother and I were Christmas shopping on December, 1st. We stopped by the indoor carnival style shooting range and air soft store there and were accused of steeling an air soft gun that was displayed in the glass counter. The owner accused us of taking the product, which was way over priced for its quality and we had no interest in. Once the owner realized he had made a mistake he let us go with out apologizing. I have never felt so discriminated against in my entire life. We will never go back again.

Mwaha! This place has everything, and a little more. Massive layout, crowded with shops, people, music, food and free entertainment for a slow afternoon. Swap meet, flea market, haggle-heaven. Great find.

It's pretty cool to be able to go to a swap meet any day of the week to pick up something you know you can get for a pretty good deal at a swap meet. It is what it is, lots of cheap clothing shops, shoe shops, etc. There's a food court with authentic Mexican food and some other kinda of food that I don't think I'd try. But, hey, if you need a quick, cheap gift for someone, it's a pretty good place to come.

It's an indoor swapmeet with no air conditioning. Most of the shops had the same items and are overpriced. I walked out of there with nothing.

This place is all about Fantasy and realization of the underground subculture that exists in Orange County. I'm talking about the bus boys, the cooks, the HomeDepot guys, the gardeners, the one's that work in the factories...this is the place where they all shop and hang-out. This Market Place is a whole different world situated a 1/4 mile away from the happiest place on earth, Disney Land. I call this place CHUNTI-LAND! ahahah In here you'll find restaurants, a chiropractor, massage therapists, beauty salons, real estate business, tatoo shops, jewelry stores, indoor soccer field, Mexican Wrestling School....etc You should definately come and check this place out one day...its worth the trip and experience!

Don't be scared of this place, just be cautious.  No, it's really not all that bad.   This place is usually jumping inside.  Once you get through the doors you find yourself in a world where the mexicans and the asians have everything you don't need for sale.  I went there because I knew I could get my watch battery replaced cheaply.  Every store in the mall or the block wanted as much as $14 bucks.....no thank you.  I got it done here for $4.  Sweet.  While my watch was being repaired I strolled the maze of stereo, cologne, toys and clothes stands that lined the walkway.  I didn't see anything that I needed or that I wanted to buy.  But I'm sure if I did I could have got it for under ten dollares.  Overall, it's an indoor swap meet what do you want?

This place has everything the average person in Anaheim would want. Where do I start? Ok people complained about it not having air conditioning. It doesn't but the problem lies with the fact that there are pleanty of gross looking food stands there that reek of putrid lard burritos. Now I want to talk about the good aspects of this place. A Vacuum repair stand, 2 tattoo shops, various video games for all your favorite 90s cartrige systems, car stereo shop that does installation and tinting, various gang associated city shirts, clothing storing store oriented to juicy women. Peep this various different vitamin shops. Ohoh the video game selection has one of my favorite fighting games "marvel vs capcom". I usually pick Ken and wolverine as a team. Anyway I mean this place has it all various articles of clothing made out of animals skins, vans and fake vans, fucking neo blue jeans my favorite jeans. I'm sorry about listing so much but I'm just happy you exist Anaheim indoor swapmeet. The only thing I could recommend is a spot where someone can sell me illegal weapons. Anaheim love
