I work in IT, so lots of hours hunched over a keyboard, usually dehydrated and stressed.
Ana did a great job targeting where I held tension and working out the tough spots in a very peaceful and relaxing environment. I felt in better alignment and after the massage keeping good posture was easier as my shoulders were not hunched up to my neck.
My guy friend had a massage after me and was surprised at how strong her hands were and that she was able to work out knots in his IT band. We both highly recommend Ana for massage. She is great for sports massages as well as tension relieving massages. -

Ana is a great massage therapist. I've been to her over 10 times and always experienced an excellent massage. She has used quite a few different techniques, which is really important for different parts of the body. Also, it doesn't hurt that she has extremely strong hands - gets into the knots if you need it. I sure do!

I had a monthly massage with Ana for a year and a half and always felt fantastic afterwards. She really listened to my requests to use less pressure on my arms, she's extremely professional and has a nice clean massage studio. I highly recommend her.

I used to be a dedicated customer of another massage studio in SF until Ana became certified a few years ago. I have been to her many many times and always leave her studio rejuvenated and relaxed. Ana seems to be able to tailor her technique to her individual clients. I don't like a particularly hard massage and she knows that so I get just the right amount of pressure for me. Unlike some other places where you're gritting your teeth in pain and the massage is almost causing you more pain than you were in before you went in, Ana's is just right.
Her studio is always clean, warm and comfortable. It's also great to visit because she has a holistic view on life so I always go home with a tidbit of some kind whether it be related to excercise, nutrition or anything else.
I highly recommend her!!!! -

It is hard to find a massage therapist who is at once skilled, intuitive, and caring. I have had some good massages in the past, but the bodywork sessions with Ana brought the experience to a whole new level. Her touch is healing, deep reaching, and magical; her encyclopedic knowledge- impressive.She always looks for ways to do even better, based on my feedback. Visiting Ana's quiet and comfortable studio and trusting her skillful hands has become a treat that I indulge in every time I can. I definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a dedicated and talented therapist, one who can be trusted for the long-lasting wellbeing of body and mind.

My massage with Ana was fantastic. She has a warm and engaging persona, and listened attentively to specific aches and pains that I had. The massage was tailored accordingly and hit the spots that were giving me the greatest distress. She is surprisingly strong and used relaxing flowing strokes that took the aches out and relaxed me from head to toe. I gave her top marks because the massage was awesome, I left feeling completely relaxed and without aches, and she's a really nice person. You should schedule your next massage with Ana!!
