Review from Lis G.

15 years ago I worked here and loved every minute of it. Amy, if it's still the same owner, has an amazing eye for what people like, even when it's not her own particular taste. I stopped by a couple of years ago when I was visiting Philly from California and picked up two grapefruit spoons with little serrated edges, something I used to love to sell to customers. I still have the bright yellow wooden boxes they were shipped in. They make great containers for organizing little nicknacks. I should know, I'm a professional organizer now. The new stall is bigger now but the charm is still there. In between the Cheese steaks and Amish pie be sure to stop by Amy's Place for great gifts and housewares.

This is the cutest little gift store inside the Reading Terminal Market in Philly and it having my name I totally adore it! The lady working there is so nice and softspoken that you just wanna hug her or help her buy everything! Being our first day visiting Philly, I just had to get something from here, and I got a cute little spoon with a triple clef note on the tip, which was perfect for me cause I also love music. I haven't used it yet though, and don't plan to ruin it either, but I love waking up in the morning seeing the little music note and then remembering the cheesesteak combo I ate around the corner of Amy's Place. Anyways, I would definitely recommend you walking in here and seeing what they have, it's a cute little gift store and perfect for souvenirs!

Review from Tee L.

I've been here before and the owner is just rude. It is kind of embarrassing to have a conversation with her because despite how friendly you are, she seems so irritated by you. It really is such a shame because her shop is such a delightful little place. A bit overpriced, the items in her shop are similar to what you may find at Bed Bath & Beyond. I still sort of glance through the window when I am at Reading Terminal Market because the shop really is attractive. Admittedly, I'm hesitant to go in because she is so unwelcoming
