Amy is the most professional pet sitter I have ever met. She is very knowledgeable with animals and animal care. She genuinely cares about the animal's well being and safety. History
Established in 2003
As a life long animal lover I was often asked to care for the pets of my family, then the pets of my friends and then it was friends of friends. I still had no idea it could be a career. When I was unavailable to care for my friends dogs during one trip they hired a pet sitter and that planted the seed. After much research I quit my job refinishing fine furniture and started Amy's Happy Critters, Inc. I am fortunate to truly love my job, the animals are a delight and I get genuine satisfaction out of providing quality service to both my human and non-human clients. I also derive great satisfaction from volunteer work in with various animal related organizations as my time permits.
Meet the Business Owner: Amy D.
I have no memory of a time I was not obsessed with horses and there was never a time that there was not at least one cat and one dog living as members of our family growing up. I have worked various jobs with a strong customer service component, which adds to the quality service provided by my business. When this is combined with my deep love of animals and a strong work ethic instilled in me by both of my parents I feel that I am perfectly suited for self employment in this field that I love.
