I was looking for hair and make-up for the bridal party and found Amy. She's super nice and dependable. I corresponded via email with her and she was always very quick at returning my emails and answering my questions. On the day of the wedding she was early and had already set-up her tools by the time I arrived.
With Amy's expertise, myself and the other 3 bridesmaid were ready for bridal party photos earlier than expected. Our hair and make-up was just as we requested and we all looked like we were ready for the red carpet! =P The bride was very impressed too! And this was just a great making for a perfect start to the wedding day.
We all received many compliments on our hair and make-up!! Thank you so very much Amy! We are so lucky to have found you! =) -

Amy did my hair and makeup for my wedding day. She was on time and super friendly! She always listens to what you want and makes sure that you are happy. I showed her a picture of a hairstyle I wanted and she made it look exactly like the picture!
She was also very flexible and was great with the emails. I felt comfortable working with her! -

I used Amy as my hair and make up artist for my wedding day. Amy is great. She's very good at what she's doing, and she's extremely sweet as well. I am one of those bride who doesn't really know what she wants. I have an idea or what I want, but nothing in detail.
Before my hair trial, I emailed her a bunch of pictures I found on the internet, and during my hair trial, she gave me two styles that I really like. So, I ended up having her do one style for me for the ceremony, and she came back in the afternoon to touch up my make up and change my hair style to the second one.
She also did my engagement photo session make up and hair. She listens to what you want, and give you recommendations. She's also very patient.
She also did my friend's make up. My friend likes the sexy smoky look while I like the natural look. Amy was able to make both of us satisfied with the end results.
Her pricing was reasonable for the quality that you get, and she's willing to travel around LA-OC area. I'm not sure beyond that, you'll have to inquire with her.
You know, during your wedding day, everything is very stressful for the bride. To have such a great personality doing your make up can really make a different. I have nothing but great things to say about her. -

after contacting several make up artists for my wedding, i finally decided to have amy do my hair and make up. i looked through pictures of her work and liked what i saw. prior to my wedding day, i had her do my hair and make up for the engagement shoot and was happy with the result. then. i saw her again to do the trial and finally on the wedding day itself. i wanted a natural look, amy listened and gave me just that.
in my opinion, her fee is very reasonable. i ended up booking her on a package since i wanted her to do hair and make up for the bridal party, the two moms, & another two girls.
my wedding day was a long one~! amy and her assistant came to the hotel at 4:30 am, they had everyone done by 9 am for the photo session. amy came back around 3 pm to do the retouch for the actual wedding ceremony and reception. considering the wedding was in july, i was a bit worried how the make up would hold up. of course i shouldn't have doubted amy's work, hair and make up lasted for the whole day and night~!
overall, i was very happy with amy. she is a sweet person who listens to what you want. ( : -

After showing a couple of pictures and listening to my requests for a desired appearance in terms of the hairstyle I would like to wear but could not really find the right picture for and the makeup I still could not really imagine would be best for me, Amy was able to translate all that and gave me the best look on my wedding day! I think she is good in taking in all her client's feedback and added with her professional experience, she was able to execute that to perfection, just like that moment. I couldn't imagine anyone would be able to help me achieve that look especially if I couldn't even believe that's possible .... that's until I met Amy.
I would definitely hire her again in my next future special event without hesitation. Her price is very reasonable. She's very professional, responds to my emails and calls promptly, very nice and friendly, very punctual. -

Amy was such a professional at what she does. I really appreciated how prompt she was responding to all my emails. I went to her place for the wedding trial hair/makeup and she traveled to Pasadena for my wedding day. She was on time even though we started at 5 am, and finished around her anticipated time so we didn't feel rushed and started everything on schedule....which of course is one less thing to stress about on the big day! She brought a colleague to help with hair since we had 4 people who needed it done and Irma did a great job too.
She was very patient because I was indecisive when it came to hairstyles. She worked on me for about 2 hours during the trial and did not make me feel like i was intruding on her time. She seemed genuinely happy about what she does instead of it being "just a job".
Of course she did a great job on the hair and make up too. I looked like "me" on my wedding day with features highlighted, instead of how some artists make the bride look completely different
Her prices are comparable to other make up artists. She will allow you to borrow hair extension pieces and accessories without a rental charge as long as you return it.
I know how difficult it is to pick someone who will do a good job and put your trust that she will make you feel beautiful on your big day. I made the right choice with Amy. -

I hired Amy to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. She is the sweetest and most professional makeup artist you will ever come across. Amy created the exact look i wanted at my trial and wedding and on the day of my wedding, was able to squeeze my two sisters in to do their hair and makeup. They were also pleased with her work as well. Hire her. You won't be dissapointed.

This is my second review of Amy, the first review was for my engagement photos, this time around it was for the real deal.... my Wedding Day. When I started looking for a hair and makeup artist, I was looking for someone who not only can do outstanding makeup but also could do phenomenal hair stylist. I hired Amy to do my makeup trial, makeup and hair for my family and bridesmaids for my wedding as well as to do my own hair and makeup for not just the wedding ceremony,but also for our Tea Ceremony. Amy was flexible with her appointment times and it was always easy to contact her. On our wedding day, even with the constant flow of people coming in and out of my bridal suite, she was able to finish my hair and makeup with plenty of time left for pictures before the ceremony. Amy is very professional, dependable and prices her services very reasonably. Also, she does not charge extra for fake eyelashes. When I look back at my wedding day, I am glad and happy to have hired Amy.
