My first date with my now husband was at Amore's. Coming up on our 7th anniversary, we're still enjoying this place regularly.
I'm giving it 4 stars because of how great these folks always are to us. They've accommodated my various diet (& non-diet) phases, my picky pizza crust requests & my love of veggies, all with a smile. The food isn't going to make you convert religions or anything, but it's tasty fare at an excellent price. We pick up a bottle of wine & meet there for dinner after work, or order and pick up (no delivery).
The pizza is great, the specials are generally the same (making them less "special"), the bread is more like a large tasty yeast roll your grandma would make, and I actually favor their marinara over Campisi's - yes, really. -

Our favorite place, we go there all the time. It is BYOW so we always bring a bottle and meet friends.

My husband and I have been going to Amore for 10 years. It's tucked away in a little shopping center off 121. Lots of regulars and families go to Amore. As an Italian, I had trouble finding good home-style Italian food when we moved to Dallas. Amore is almost as good as my family's home cooking. What should you eat? It takes me forever to decide, even though I have seen the menu 100s of times. A lot of good stuff. The stuffed mushrooms are a gooey cheesy treat. The salads are fresh and tasty. We tried the new artichoke app. It is fantastic. Eggplant and stuffed shells are delicious. Nine times out of 10 my husband gets the Marsala. Most of the time I can't pass up the pizza because it's better than what I've had in NY. The cannolis are sweet and creamy. This is a BYOB restaurant. The servers will bring you wine glasses and open your wine asap. Beer drinkers, bring your coolers in they don't mind. The manager and wait staff will make sure you are satisfied with your meal and feel at home. Expect we'll be going to Amore for 10 more years.

I love Amore! It's not anything mind-blowing, but it's a very friendly place with all the usual familar italian foods. The prices are good, the pizza is excellent, and everyone is very nice. They don't have serve alcohol, so stop by the grocery store and pick up some wine before you head over.

Nice atmosphere, good food and friendly service. Thanks, Al! Even for a NorthEasterner, it's good pizza, and I'm REALLY fussy.

I find myself coming here atleast once a week for lunch. They have the best "house" dressing I have ever tried. So good, I would be content eating their rolls and dipping it in the dressing for an ideal meal. Their grilled chicken house salad is awesome too, tons of chicken with great taste for cheap!! Great lunch spot
