i hate weddings. i'm publicly forced to show my wussiness. sooooo not cool.
the morning started out early. i did my mom's hair and makeup for her big day. she wanted a simple and casual wedding. no big fancy dress. no bridal court. no unnecessary madness. if i ever got married again, and that's a very big IFFFFF...i would want the same thing. nice and simple. immediately family and close friends. you can enjoy the day so much better that way.
not sure how my momma found this place. it's located in a strip mall at the corner of huntington and highland. it looks like a normal office building on the outside. when you walk in, there's laminate wood floors, two waiting rooms (one for the bride and one for the groom), then double doors that lead to the chapel. its not very big. fits maybe 20-30 ppl. the ceremony is short and sweet. you would think with a ceremony that only lasts 10 minutes, there would be no tears involved. but dammmmmmmmnnn... emotions overwhelmed both bride and groom which led to my eyes tearing up. there goes my fake lashes...
overall, it's a cute place to have a nice, quiet wedding. the wedding coordinators there are on your ass so you better not be late or anything. -

I came here this weekend for Jill's mom's wedding. I couldn't wait to see her mom after all these years. Just as I thought she looked AMAZING (she hasn't aged a bit). The wedding I was told was going to be a small event nothing of grandeur. Then church was small I think there was about a total of 30 people if that. The ceremony was beautiful and the tears were flowing. There was a cameraman and a video taker... The one thing that irritated me was one of the ladies that worked there she was sooo rude and hustled everyone into the ceremony room like we were cattle. She wasn't the most polite either. None-the-less the ceremony went off without a hitch and they were married...

History
Established in 2005
Amoré Chapel was opened by two best friends. When one friend was proposed to, she decided she wanted a small wedding and began looking for sites. The Registrar-Recorder's office seemed very impersonal and cold. She quickly learned that most of the establishments at the time were worn, dated, and the customer service left something to be desired. The location she eventually chose even lost her wedding day pictures.
After her nuptials, the two friends decided to go into business together and create a cozy and sophisticated place for couples could be united in beautiful setting at an affordable price. The result is Amoré Chapel, and they have been fortunate to marry hundreds of couples ever since.
