Sad story. My parents spent two weeks in Paris and planned to return home from O'Hare via the Blue Line. Uh, no. My parents gave me life, worked their fingers to the bone to raise us in a nice house in a Chicago neighborhood with great schools, and spent another considerable sum on my education and a Steinway grand piano (I practiced daily, I swear). Leaving Paris is bad enough. Staying awake most of the night on the flight home only adds to the pain. The Blue Line is fine for ME.
Unable to pick them up myself, I wrote to Uncle Yelp, and found the good ratings for Amm's from people I knew. I called, booked the car, received a confirmation number, and paid over the phone including the gratuity. I think it was about $75-80 total. The car service took the flight info and said they'd track it, and adjust their arrival based on any unforeseen flight delays.
I emailed Mom and said "how about a car instead?"
Everything went off without a hitch, and the driver was a pleasant fellow who took excellent care of them.

It's good thing when my husband and I look back on our wedding day and only have good things to say about Amm's Limousine wedding services.
From the time we initiated contact, Nicholle was very helpful and professional. We called up several limousine companies just for comparison purposes and based on the overall communicative experience my husband had with Nicholle via email and phone, it wasn't a difficult choice to go with Amm's and requesting them to reserve our wedding date for their services. A few weeks before the wedding, we contacted Nicholle again to reconfirm our wedding details and schedule, and Nicholle responded efficiently to tell us that we were all set for our wedding day. Only thing was that we requested a formal contract from them and it took awhile for them to give that to us as Nicholle had to get another Amm's employee that is in charge of these things to have the contract written it up for us.
On the day before the wedding, Amm's called us up to ask what kind of soda we would prefer during our limo rides so that they can be sure to stock up the limo with our preferred drinks (champagne was included too).
We couldn't have had a better limo driver that day. Perry was amazing. He always had a genuine smile on his face the entire day he was with us. We had multiple pickups before the ceremony and each time he arrived early. It was pouring right before the wedding ceremony and when my bridesmaids and I arrived at the lobby of my condo, he was already standing at the lobby entrance with umbrellas waiting for us girls and escorting us to the limo with an umbrella. He was also very kind in reassuring me by saying that he looked up the doppler radar and that the heavy rain at that time was supposed to be the worse and that it would get better later in the day. And what do I know, the rain stopped when our wedding ceremony ended as we were headed to the reception venue :)
Perry came back for us after our reception as our bridal party and photographer went around downtown Chicago for our photoshoot. We were thirsty and happily enjoying our drinks and champagne, and Perry reminded us several times that he had more drinks in the trunk for us if we needed more. Our bridal party took some shots in the middle of the street in the Financial District and Perry even asked us if we wanted his help to stop traffic a little so we could have a couple mins to take some shots in the middle of the street :) At the end of everything when my husband and I got home, we said to each other "Perry was really nice".Listed in: Married!

This is my last review in regards to my wild girls night out. My friends surprised me with a limo to take us bar to bar and to cart our crazy/sexy/drunk butts around the city. Our driver was Rudy and he was the most awesome limo driver I ever had!
We all piled into the car (we were all heavily buzzed up) and we also brought a cooler, vodka, champagne, Lola, Willy and Willy2. Before I got in the car I had quite a bit to drink and I couldn't partake in any roady-sodys. I didn't want to make a mess of Rudy sparkling clean car!
My group was loud, drunk and obnox and Rudy didn't have a care in the world. He probably had a good laugh after he was done with us. Some of us who sat in the back seat of the limo had Lola (with her grill) and the Willy's out the window. I know people who saw us driving down Lake Shore Drive and around the northside were like WTF!?
It was a good time and I want to thank Rudy and my friends for a night that I will never forget! -

If you need a reliable car service to the airport, look no further! Amm's is fantastic -- I'm a weekly customer and they have always been on time, with great drivers, and really nice vehicles (love the Escalade when I get one). I live on a street with little cab service (much less early in the morning) and before discovering Amm's I had to rely on various cab companies, who, without fail, had trouble finding our home (and thus rarely would be on time). Then, of course, there's the lottery of what kind of cab would show up -- always a great way to start a trip in a cab with "curious" odors and a filthy trunk.......
So friends who live in the area recommended Amm's as the best car service to/from the airports and they were absolutely correct. Of all the things to worry about when catching a flight, being picked up on time is no longer one of them. Their rates are also entirely reasonable for the service they provide. Thank you, Amm's -- see you next Tuesday! -

used this service for my daughters' prom last year. They were great. They stayed in contact with me and my daughter the day of the prom, even late in the night up until my daughter was back home safe...Great customer service

Called them 6 hours before I needed to be picked up. They confirmed with a supervisor that a car was available. The limo arrived 10 min before the scheduled time, waited patiently and then loaded our bags for us. the driver was very pleasant and got us to o'hare in good time. It all went without a hitch! Now about our delayed American flight...

The best limo service ever. Wonderfully courteous chauffeurs, well-maintained cars, and never late. They pick you up from O'Hare, whichever gate you are at, within 5 minutes of your calling them once you are at baggage claim. The operator is also super-efficient since I'm sure she gets a million calls at a time. I think it costs $60 from O'Hare to downtown, which is inexpensive since it's quite a distance, though I never paid for it, it was all expensed anyway. They also do pickups from downtown to O'Hare and elsewhere.
Speaking of which, I took them from my hotel (the Sofitel Chicago Water Tower) to O'Hare once... Boy oh boy! This was such a great day! So I'm waiting outside my hotel waiting for my limo to pick me up, since I didn't see them already there which was a first since they had been on time the previous 10-15 times, so I called them. The operator knew who I was immediately and apologized instantly and profusely for the delay, and explained the situation. Apparently they were over-booked that day and had to make alternative arrangements for me. After the explanation, she said a car would be there right about as we were speaking and that I I wouldn't miss it. They had called another limo company for me and made sure I would be picked up as scheduled. How awesome is that. Also, that wasn't the end of it... As an apology for the delay and mix-up, they got me a super-stretch limo! I certainly did not miss it, I think my jaw dropped when I saw the limo turn into the Softel driveway, since it took a good 5 minutes for this car to pull in. It was at least 30 feet long, no kidding, with 5 windows, a screen with an LCD television, a car phone, champagne glasses and leather seats. It was a Saturday morning, so I was dresses in my ripped jeans and a tank-top, scruffy as hell, looking like ass. It was quite an embarrassing sight as the busboy announced the arrival of my limo, and ushered me to the door (I seriously did not know where to enter, the car was so long).
Okay, I am going to stop my rambling now. But 5 stars, no contest.Listed in: Firsts!

Wow! Talk about an easy time to set up and use a limo! I called the day before (on a Thursday) to see if they had availability for Friday night. Turns out they did! Yeah!! From the West loop, it cost 96 bucks (plus tip) one way to get to the Allstate arena! To me, I thought that was a great deal, considering I didn't have to drive in the rain, and I got to have a few pre-concert (yes, I went to New Kids on the Block, and it was AWESOME!) cocktails. The company was excellent in communication, and when we couldn't find our driver after the concert, I called the company, and let the driver know where we were. She came to find us (we were standing by the Target across the street, where she was located, but we couldn't find her) and we all got safely home. I'd recommend this service to anyone looking for a great car service, and for a reasonable price!

Great service. They are always on time, if not early. The cars are always clean newer cars. And the drivers are super friendly. Best limo service i've ever used!

I called to get car service to and from O'Hare since we were visiting with our young son. Nicole helped me set up the reservation and she was incredibly helpful. We had a car seat and I had lots of cold-weather questions. (We are in Northern Cal and not used to single digits at all.) All pick ups were exactly as explained and were totally flawless. Drivers were courteous and patient, particularly with the car seat rigmarole. One expects things to go as planned and that would warrant an easy four stars. Nicole alone probably warranted the above and beyond fifth star but the fact that they sent a big, fun stretched limo for our return to the airport made certain that I logged on and posted this review this morning. We've used lots of car services in NY and this one would be my first choice in any city, hands down.

I travel quite a bit for business and rather than pay the exorbitant long term parking at the airports I usually take a car. I've never really had any loyalty to a car company, but I've been traveling more so my lust for a relationship has grown. I discovered Amm's on Yelp and decided to give them a shot, they have not disappointed. I have used them 3 times before writing this review as I wanted to make sure it wasn't a fluke performance, good or bad, I was yelping about. The drivers were very prompt and this included a couple of pickups in the wee hours. They were basically running out of the car to grab my bag from me. They made sure all the information they had been given was correct and the cars were clean and comfortable. The cost is well within the range of what you would pay for a cab or another car company. Even if they were a little high, based upon the service I got, I would pay the extra bucks. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a lift to the airport.
