A great little Mexican cafe in Kayenta. Lots of locals enjoying their meals, always a good sign!
I had my usual fare of a tostada and cheese enchilada and it was very good. It's not Tucson Mexican quality but it was very tasty. The salsa was truly tasty....kinda different tasting from what we get in Tucson.
The service was very friendly and it was a relaxing place to enjoy your meal. We would definitely eat here again on our next trip to Monument Valley. -

On our road trip, Navajo Fry Bread was on our "must do list." We asked someone at the Navajo Cultural Center where we could try some and she recommended this place.
Because we don't know any better, we ordered both the Navajo Fry Bread Burger AND the Navajo Fry Bread Taco. Really, this should have been a "pick one of the following" situation but we were really into this fry bread quest. Both items were pretty good though way too much food for us and we ended up leaving some of it behind. Over all the taco was better than the burger, but both lacked that extra flavor to make this a wonderful experience.
The wait was a bit long for our food (about an hour for lunch) and although a charming location in it's own way, not a four star experience for me. -

Good mexican fare although the choices are limited to mostly tex-mex favorites. The staff is very friendly and this is clearly the best place to eat in Kayenta. Unfortunately there is no liquor license, so no margarita with the mexican food (which is somewhat of a setback)

GREAT FOOD! my favorite restaurant in Arizona. Very good mexican food but if you are really daring try the Navajo taco.

1. Navajo Taco $8.93
The taco is big it fills the whole plate, and it comes with beans, lettuce, cheese and a little meat ontop of pizza bread. It was abit lukewarm for me and it did not have enough meat. -

A great find. Not many options in this part of the country. Stopped for dinner and was impressed by quality of the food. Good green chili salsa and the beef tacos are worth trying.

My boyfriend and I stopped by this place on a road trip through the Southwest. The food that we ordered was pretty simple stuff - cheese enchiladas with green chile for me, the Navajo (made with fry bread) taco for him. But it was delicious and there was a lot of it. The fry bread was SO good that we ordered a side to eat with honey. All of it was filling and tasty.
