This place is old-school bowling alley. The service, ambiance, and  machine quality, makes me think this place deserves two stars. I'd rather go elsewhere to bowl. However, with good friends, you can have fun anywhere. ;o)

My frugal best friend decided AMF Windfern Lanes would be a great place to have a going away party. The following day she would be leaving town to go on her first cruise to Jamaica. ;o)

Parking was a breeze. On a Saturday night, nearly every lane was occupied.

No one was at the shoe/bowling ball area.  I walk over to the food concession stand, in vain. The moody food attendant said just to wait until the other attendant returned.  I waited... and waited... and waited...the attendant was no where in sight. A few minutes later the attendant strolls in. She quickly gives us our shoes.

After awhile, especially with groups, the device that sorts the pins gets tired. You might have to press the button to encourage it to, have another go at (1) returning the bowling ball or (2) stack the pins.

For the most part, bowling balls are somewhat timely on returning back. However there are sometimes when their bowling balls must take side routes, detours, and the scenic route to return because they take awhile to get back.

As part of a Halloween party for an event photography company. We came dressed up in our Halloween costumes. It was nice to have a break from the office monotony and stress. I even had adorable Halloween cupcakes from The Cookie Jar Bakery, but I digress. It was cool that they let us (1) bring costumes and (2) bring our own dessert
