I used to bowl here for a UCR intramural league.
Generally speaking I think the lanes were well-kept... the food was typical no-frills bowling alley food, but cheap.
Beer is a decent price. -

This place has little to no regard to the league bowlers. The lanes are poorly conditioned, the approaches are ALWAYS sticky with soda or other spills and the service lacks luster. We always have to beg for for a cleaning. You would think they (AMF Riverside Lanes) would better prepare for our arrival.

The Good:
Their 99 cents coupon they mail out periodically (you have to sign up at http://www.amf.com though), plus their discounted $1.99 rates after 8:00pm on weekdays. Staff is friendly and helpful.
The Not-So-Good: Prices can be pretty steep on certain days and hours (from $3.00 to over $5.00), so it's best that you plan your visit. Their Proshop needs improvement. I had my inserts changed once and they didn't do a good job.
The Ugly: None. This bowling center is kept nice and clean, including their restrooms and arcade. -

One of the few bowling places I've been to in Riverside. Every time I've come I've always enjoyed it.
Xtreme bowling is usually the funnest part of the weekend evenings for us. They do a bar for alcohol and beer. By the time that rolls around it has become drunken bowling.
Appetizer wise, the sampler is usually your best bet and way to go for snackage while doing some bowling. Would recommend trying that with family and friends. Wasn't to impressed with their pizzas.
Overall this is a welcoming center. You'll find just about people of every age here in the evenings and weekends. Great atmosphere. -

This is MY local bowling place. It's pretty big and the prices are reasonable. The machines act up, but the staff is quick to fix it if they aren't busy. A remember one night it wouldn't give us our ball and gave two points when you bowled a gutter haha, but it's all good. It adds to the night, you know? I tend to get my best scores here though, so I got to give them love. I also tend to break a nail here too, but maybe that's why though. I would break all my nails to get a perfect game haha

fun times here!! came here for a dorm event and i dunno if was the place, or the people, or whatever, but no complaints. its accessible from the freeway, nearby lots of places to eat, and also ample parking..what more could you ask for?
